The hospitality goes the extra mile. It's uplifting when the struggles of life get me down and I get to church and the songs we are singing are reaching me way past the capacity I imagined. I decided not to wait for people to notice me or speak to me first, I have a plan to be the first one to strike up a conversation. What better place than church? What a waste if I was waiting for someone to talk to me and that someone was doing the same thing by waiting for me to talk to them. Somebody has to make the first move. The hospitality is magnified with free coffee or teas and an area with seating in a delightful cafe. The devil wants to feed us discouraging thoughts about church so we won't go. He don't want us filled with joy and peace because that would mean we are trusting in God and not the Devil's lies, deception, and discouragement. Remember the muck of life is hard to see through and to find a reason to have hope for things to get better. Like my mother always said, "you're not gonna get your blessing sitting at home!"
