They sell clothing, jewellery, toys & games, videos, DVDs, books, bric a brac as well as collectibles and the occasional small electrical goods and small furniture items. The staff are friendly and cheery, and there is a changing room to try on clothes. Look for the seasonal items on display at the appropriate times of the year. The proceeds and donations help support the 2 hospices set up to help terminally ill patients and their families.

Came away again yesterday with another dress £4.75 and it fits perfectly. There was also a beautiful Jasper Conran summer dress for a fiver! Bargain. However it was sadly 1 size too large for me. There are nice lockable changing rooms, a change from the sketchy curtain rail in the corner that is in most charity shops and the volunteer staff are sweet. The rule of charity stores is check regularly as you never know what you are going to find, I have been lucky and always found something good in here.

What makes this shop a little different from the rest is that it's a local charity which means that they also organise regular fundraising events in Cardiff, many of which are pretty high profile events, like gala dinners and even operatic events. They are looking for volunteers at the moment, but although I'm tempted, I'd struggle to find the time. (I already volunteer at the RSPCA.) They also look like they could use some more clothing donations as the stock levels looked a little low last time I was in. It's obvious too see how much locals care by the quality and abundance of the donations they give. For those of you who hold the charity dear to your heart - you're in luck because there's four (that's right - FOUR!) St Peter's shops in Clifton Village. What I like about these chain of shops, is that if you're looking for something specific, they'll call around to the other shops to see if they've got it in stock! This particular branch on Whiteladies is one of the best charity shops in Clifton Village for clothes especially. There's also a good lively vibe about this store which lifts my mood whenever I walk in.
