It does have a changing room in the middle of the store which has a curtain rail, I'm always convinced people can see me changing, if I can see out, surely other people can see in! Luckily I'm not an overly modest person ;-) Unlike some of the other charity shops it tends to have a fairly standard range of high street clothes. It does stock a good bit of primark clothes, I don't really like paying almost the same price for a 2nd hand item that I would if I bought it new in Primark. Then again, that's probably saying a bit more about how Primark are able to sell their stuff so riduculously cheaply. I have found a few bits and pieces here, trousers and books at very reasonable prices. There was a lovely black dress from River Island in there last week selling for under a fiver, when you consider how much you pay for high street prices, you can find some cheap gems here.

They have a wide selection of clothing, books, toys and items for your home, which are reasonably priced. I often come in here to pick up cheap books, and there are often new and popular classics, which definitely beat high street prices. The clothes in here aren't quite as cool as the North Bristol charity shops, but if you have an eye for fashion and a talent for customising clothes then it's worth a go.

What I like about these chain of shops, is that if you're looking for something specific, they'll call around to the other shops to see if they've got it in stock! This particular branch on Whiteladies is one of the best charity shops in Clifton Village for clothes especially. There's also a good lively vibe about this store which lifts my mood whenever I walk in.

It's a tidy…read morelittle charity shop that really makes an effort to keep good stores thus making some profit for the cause. One of the main points here is how easy they make it to shop. For example little signs on the roof mark out what is in what aisle. The men's range, once you locate it, is a decent assortment of really quite good clothing. I've bought many good shirts from these guys as well as a few nice hats. The rest of the stock is similar; easy to find and good quality. Little more you could ask for really.

I went there looking for some light natural trousers for an up and coming holiday and came away with a 100% cotton pair from M&S that looked brand new and a linen pair and only spent £3.98!!! So all you other charity shops out there with your fancy layouts and store windows, take a leaf out if Barnardos book. It may be like a jumble sale in there but it's cheap and that's what I want from a Charity shop!

This is because of the shops location in Clifton Village. They have good quality ornaments, pieces of furniture and although you can still grab a bargain they also sell a lot of new products like Christmas cards and fair trade chocolates (good job they're not second hand). You can also buy some great Christmas presents from this branch, like the 'build a school' or 'buy a goat'-type gift packs (where you donate the appropriate amount of money in return for one of these gift packs, it's a nice way of imagining what the money could be spent on). They have some useful bits of homeware in this branch, like curtains, rugs & fabrics; they even had a bean bag once that I wish I'd bought.
