Just another part of the horrible and very judgemental and dangerous St Peter's Hospital, where they judge you first, before any 'care' will be given, if at all. This place is just as useless as the main hospital. I was treated like something worse than worst Leper, ever. The main so called 'care giver' who caused all of my problems and misery is named Charlene Lewis. I believe she got let go at St Peter's, and most likely for incompetence, and is now at Benefis in Helena. Keep your loved ones and especially your children away from this woman. She did everything in her power to ruin my life and nearly succeeded. St Peters is well aware of what happened, but chose to do nothing as usual. Talk about lawsuit waiting to happen! Everything about this clinic and hospital is negative. The people that work there only care about getting paid. That is all they are in it for. Otherwise, they are mostly all incompetent, which is why St Peter's has the reputation that it does. All departments are run terribly and there is absolutely no accountability for any of them. People here are extremely judgemental. If you have an earring as a male, you will be judged. If you have tattoos, you will be judged. If you happen to be born LGBTQ, you are really judged and also called nasty names. By doctors and nurses!!! It has happened to me and to many others, and I have witnesses to it, so it can be proven true. Do not bother going here for anything. They will not help you and will do everything to harm you instead. It is just the way they operate at this place. Char Lewis even called me at home one time, and screamed obscenities at me over the phone. I recorded it. St Peter's is well aware of what she did but chose to do nothing but let her go, I guess. I certainly got no apology for all the damage and worse that she and St Peters Hospital caused me and too many others. The reviews speak for themselves. I typically haven't had too many issues with this location but within the last week, I had to seek urgent care. When I came in, they had just taken someone back to be seen. I signed in and was waiting to get registered. I was informed that their system was down. I know there has been several issues with SPH's new system so it wasn't a really big deal. The lady at the desk was trying to reboot and told me she wasn't too sure when it would be back up. As I waited, a man came in and went to sign in. The lady told him that the system was down and he should leave and head to the north clinic since their system was up and running. He didn't ask any questions and just left. At this point, I thought it was strange that he was turned away. I've never seen anyone denied care over a system being down. I sat another 10 minutes or so and then the lady told me that I should go to the north clinic as well because I would likely get seen quicker. I inquired as to why they didn't have some sort of back up plan in place seeing this has been a common issue. She didn't have an answer for me. At this point, I sat another couple of minutes then I decided to just walk out. I was in a lot of pain and extremely frustrated at this point so I went to the north clinic. I had told the man who checked me in, as I sobbed in pain, that I was told to come there because the system was down. I was taken back immediately and the nurse started right away with getting me taken care of. I had explained to the nurse that I and another man were denied care due to the system being down. I also asked if there was a back up plan for situations like this. She told me that this shouldn't have happened. I'm curious if I know if I had gone to the ER if I would have been denied care due to the system being down... which was unlikely but at this point I couldn't be too sure. I had got treatment and I am thankful for what this group did to help me in my time of need. I had spoken to an administrator who informed me that there is a back up plan in place and that I shouldn't have been told to leave. As frustrating as the entire situation was, I won't rate this experience a 1 because the nurse and provider, along with the radiologist were absolutely amazing and helped me with my issue. I will not return to the broadway urgent care ever again and will seek out the north clinic. They were professional and were able to treat my issue. I'm thankful for the provider and the nurse. They confirmed that I shouldn't have been turned away. The administrator handled the situation and informed me that it would be addressed. I really appreciated the way she responded to me and took the time to listen. Thank you to the team at the SPH urgent care north clinic. You were nothing short of amazing. read more

Recently it seems like I can't stay away from St. Pete's for too long, as some member of my family always has some bug on any given day. What really prompts me to review is the experience I have had multiple times (3 or 4 so far), in which my 14 month old wakes up from a late afternoon nap with worsening symptoms that cause me to look at the clock and rush him to urgent care with barely enough time before they close at 6pm on Saturday or Sunday. I am not one to procrastinate and wait all day before taking my child to the doctor at the last minute. My son just seems to cross a line into concern at this time of day. 3 or 4 times now, I have walked into urgent care around 45 minutes to one hour before they close, and each time I do this, I get lectured by the receptionist that they are going to be packing up to go home very soon and that I really need to try and make it fast. What does that even mean when you are bringing in a sick child to be looked at?! This attitude of wasting an employee's time is one I only have ever seen until I moved here, and it is one I see often. Any time I walk into an establishment within the last half hour til close- for anything- I get attitude or even a lecture from employees. If I were the business owner I would be appalled. Isn't the customer always the priority? Hoping to get off work early and then being disappointed when that doesn't happen should never cause staff to be rude and critical, especially when the service in question is providing medical care to sick patients. read more

If you ever need to go to the urgent care, absolutely do not go to the Broadway location. I took my daughter in because her arm lost all strength, which was a new symptom of a problem that we had previously gone to the ER for. On the sign in sheet for the primary symptom I had put limp arm. We told the receptionist that the only problem was her arm, she checked us in, and sent us to the waiting area. Shortly after we were called back to the desk where there was a woman that wanted to talk to us. She said that they couldn't help her because of it being the left side. There were absolutely no other symptoms that would have made you think it was a stroke other than the words "left arm". I assured her that the ER had determined a couple weeks prior that it wasn't a stroke. She then looked at me and in the nastiest tone, she asked "what do you think we can do for you that the ER hasn't already done". I was blown away at that question. I told her that they can look at it and make sure there wasn't anything wrong with the shoulder that was causing the lack of strength in her arm. Her response to that was "oh okay. Maybe next time you say it is the shoulder". She definitely doesn't have good people skills. And that was just the check in process! The nurse that took care of us was wonderful. She was the only good part of this trip. Once the x-ray came back, the doctor came in for only maybe 5 minutes. Just long enough to tell us the x-ray didn't show anything and to have my daughter move her arms in different directions. We were told there was no concerns since she could lift her hands over her head... nevermind the fact that her arm dangles yo her side and she struggles to do anything with it. The doctor told us that we needed to see ortho if she is still in pain the next week. Since the doctor didn't offer any solutions or help to support the arm, I had to ask for a sling for her arm to keep it from pulling and hurting her shoulder and spine any more. This will be the last time I ever go to that location. The north clinic is wonderful. Receptionists, nurses and doctors are all amazing and actually take the time to listen to everything that is going on. read more

I'd give zero stars if I could because I had no interaction with staff. I turned in my sign in form and sat in the waiting room for 25 minutes completely unacknowledged other than for someone to run out to give me a mask because I was coughing. A man who arrived after me was taken back to the receptionist area to apparently do his paperwork, which they were still doing when I walked out. I drove across town to St. Peter's North, and I was checked in and called back before I could finish writing this review. Go across town to North and don't waste your time. read more

Very professional atmosphere. Wait time was not long, considering patients are seen in the order of severity of injury or illness.

My daughter had ear pain. We thought it was an ear infection and the pain had turned critical. We walked in on Friday at 7pm and there was no line. We were seen immediately by Dr. Mattern. Our treatment was effective, efficient and everyone was pleasant. We would use this service again if needed! read more

My doctor at St Peters Physicians Clinic was busy and I was told to go to the hospital's urgent care unit, to be seen for an infection. After a 20 minute wait, I was taken to an examination room to wait 35 minutes to be seen by medical staff. The physicians assistant prescribed an antibiotic injection, which they ordered from the hospital pharmacy. I waited 3 hours (180 minutes) for them to come back to administer the shot. This unit is anything but urgent! If you passed out on the floor, no one would find you for hours. Was this a unique experience? Nope! My wife had an equally frustrating experience when her regular physician was busy and her staff recommended she go to St Peters Urgent Care for treatment of an eye infection. She was treated and diagnosed by a registered nurse, no doctor or physicians assistant, and told it was a sinus infection. A totally incorrect diagnosis, as we learned later from a real physician. My wife only had to sit in an examination room for 2 hours and 15 minutes. Again, no sense of urgency at St Peters Urgent Care! Calling this facility URGENT care is a joke. Calling it CARE is questionable. If this is the best St Peters Hospital can provide, it needs another change in management. read more

I went into St. Peter's Urgent care a week ago for a shoulder injury. When I arrived it first appeared as if no one was around, but after a few minutes a young guy finally peered around a hidden wall and said I needed to come around to his side. ?? Not sure why it took him so long to acknowledge us. He was very unfriendly, disconnected and seemed rather annoyed that he had to be there. However, I will give kudos to the Xray gal and Dr. Rachel Mattern, who were both very pleasant to deal with. Later that same weekend I phoned the SP Urgent Care (they are open 7 days a week until 8:00 pm) and left a message about getting my Rx refilled. THEY NEVER CALLED BACK...AT ALL. Another incident w/ this Urgent Care happened several years back, when I went in for an minor incident and there was a young woman w/ her husband sitting in the waiting room. She was in some sort of extreme pain, and was rocking back and forth holding her stomach. At one point, she laid down on the floor in a fetal position and was crying. Her husband kept going to the window (2-3 times) to ask how long it was going to take, but while I was there, no one had yet come out to assist her. When a nurse finally did appear, she called my name, and I went up to her and said to let this poor girl go in front of me! She rudely explained that wasn't the correct protocol and she would have to find out if she can make the switch. She proceeded to the back office, then came out and said she could switch our spots, and asked if I was sure. I replied YES I'm sure! Can't you see how sick that poor girl is?!! She explained that I would now have to wait further, but I said no thanks and left. I highly suggest going downtown to Urgent Care Plus, which IS NOT affiliated w/ St. Peter's. read more

I cannot get over the lack of personal care this place provides. I was awake all night Sunday night with the worst back pain. I stayed up and decided to go to urgent care North when I couldn't get in to see my regular doctor. I was literally standing at the door at 8:00 AM when they opened. I was greeted by a nice lady and she took my information......Then the waiting began. I was clearly in an extreme amount of pain. I waited for thirty minutes for someone to call my name. Finally someone did. I was so happy to have someone to explain my pain to and I was very close to relief after such an agonizing night of no sleep. Well I was WRONG! I waited another hour and twenty minutes in PAIN by myself. I could hear what was going on. A teenager came right after me who was having an extreme asthma attack. He needed help right away they rushed him in an ambulance to the hospital- I totally get that- Take care of the sickest first. But then all I could hear was them talking about the situation, rather than getting back to work they all just stood around and talked about how they all did such a great job. Then I hear a Doctor I presume ( very slow talker) calling Helena motors to make an appointment for his car!!!! Really, you have someone crying in pain in the next room and this is how you treat them? Ridiculous- So after one hour and thirty minutes some one did come in (FNP not a DR.) the room . I said I have been in here alone in pain for so long. She was not pleased and told me there were 40 people ahead of me. Not true I was the fourth person through the door. So this is our health care in Helena Montana? NO sense of URGENCY HERE! Unless you want to talk about how great they are to each other. NOT the patients. So my advice if you are in an extreme amount of pain and really need to see a doctor....Just pay the money and go to the emergency room. This place is a JOKE! Thank you for that Urgent Care.
