Such a blessing that we are a fast growing parish. Each year we hold a growing number of OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults) attendees as those wishing to become Catholic. The Church is gorgeous, inside and out, with numerous programs available to continue to deepen your knowledge of our beatuiful religion, as well as many volunteer opportunities.

This church has a huge heart for helping others -- our doors are open to the community! We have 5 AA groups, FAR Conservatory (Art and Music Therapy for Special Needs), Knitting and Blanket Ministries that make chemo caps and blankets for local hospitals and cancer centers, a monthly Third Thursday Lunch for seniors, and more. We house the homeless thru MCREST for a week each year, and gather gifts for the Macomb County Friends of Foster Kids each Christmas. The most notable and definitive part of the mass that makes me like or dislike the church is during the homily. If the priest can't keep my attention, then it's not a good fit. I can't say I really like the interior or exterior of the building, since it doesn't remind me or look like a church to me at all. It looks more like a rectory. I am forever seeking out a church that feels like home to me. I have yet to find it. There's nothing That compares to the church a group at Grosse Point or that has A priest that I like more than the father at that church. I even like the deacon there too.

You have to volunteer for a few hours if your kids go there - there is a buy out option but it will cost you. So I volunteered which is nice because you meet people. They have a bunch of family events you can go to for a little cost. My kids love it. The people are nice. And they seem to be learning. Goood, gooooooood and goooooooooooodddddd.
