We are trying to find our home church where we can raise our family and grow in our walk with Jesus and God but we did not feel very welcomed overall. We were not introduced to any of the pastors and in all we only spoke to one person. We thought it would be a bit different. Me, being retired Air Force, and my wife, growing up on Army bases in her youth, have attended churches on many military installations and are used to the camaraderie and welcoming demeanor of the people who attend. My wife and I have also attended Korean-American churches where everyone wants to meet you and the pastors are always the first to greet you and assist you. The military churches are quite transient though and our home church dissolved hence the search for a new permanent church. I'm sure we must've just picked an off day to go. Hopefully as we search for our new church home we will find that welcoming family. The one person we did meet and talk with was very sweet and we appreciated that.

They offer this "VIP Experience" for first time visitors where you truly feel like they are happy you have chosen to attend. We were walked through the children's area where we checked in our daughter. What I loved initially was that there is a system in place to ensure no one can just come in and take a child without having a numbered pass that matches the name tag given to the parent. They went a step further and provided my child with a name tag showing the other kids that it was her first time so that she could feel welcomed and truly have a great first time visit. The service was absolutely great and the pastors sense of humor and incorporation of jokes was a breath of fresh air compared to more traditional churches I have attended in the past; not to mention the worship band was absolutely amazing! At the end of the services, we all received a welcome gift, to include one for my child and we were introduced to the campus pastor and his wife. You can tell that this is such a loving environment to be a part of and it just may very well become our home church

I'm usually here 5 days a week, and the pastor is as dedicated as you can get. If he's not at the church working on sermons or bettering the facility, he is off visiting hospitals, making house calls, and reaching people in need. This church has a huge heart for missions too, both locally and internationally. This year they are working in impoverished areas of Rock Hill as well as sending several of the church members to Uganda to teach God's word. They have a ton of lifegroups and ministries too. Pastor Jimmy is a great speaker but when your not listening to him speak everything else falls through the cracks. The church has grown too much that no one can truly feel connected. Used to love it but my family needed more connection and after 4 years of trying we still didn't find our family there. We have moved on to another Church and found it.
