Let me be completely honest with those of you searching for a photographer. I chose Scott for my big day. As a bride, things are insane... You have so many little things to do, combined with large things, and they all turn into EVERYTHING. So picking your photographer is one of the large tasks you have, which can be very nerve wrecking... and after the day is said and over with, all you can remember is bits and pieces because of all the commotion. So let me tell you about MY experience... First thing I noticed was his prices... Of course half of us want the fairy tale wedding but can't afford it. And of course I thought, that's all? He's charging me that, for ALL of this? It's too good to be true! But it was true! He is very reasonable! So I hired Scott and INSTANTLY loved his personality. He made me comfortable enough to tell him exactly what I wanted and didn't want... Scott helped me with my itinerary and so many other things in between! The day of, I seen Scott and CJ in action. They knew EXACTLY what they were doing in a timely manner. Each pose was perfect and while taking these pictures you imagine what they are going to look like... "is the angle right? I like my left side more than my right.. I wonder if the lighting is right... " etc. So the day Scott showed me my photos of my big day, They were BETTER than I ever imagined them. I was reminded of all the moments I forgot about because of the chaos, the quality and each way everything came together was BREATH TAKING. Every single thing was dead on.. All the silly poses made sense, all the smiles and angles came together perfectly... The saying is "you get what you paid for.." It was NEVER proved wrong until ST photography came along. They gave me so much more than what I paid for. He gave me amazing prices, amazing memories, an amazing friendship, and Most of all, AMAZING WORK. You cannot go wrong with ST photography. This is honestly the best photography company I know. I will use Scott for all my future needs for photography because he's THAT GOOD! It was a pleasure working with Scott and CJ! My husband and I had a destination wedding and did not have a chance to interview him personally before the wedding, but we were not disappointed at all! We had our first phone interview with Scott and we knew he was going to be great! He was very professional, and made us feel very comfortable. It is very important to feel comfortable with your photographer, remember you will spend a lot of time with him on The Big Day! Scott was funny. He has a great sense of humor! After our first phone interview Scott kept in touch with us on a regular basis, he even went to check out the venue and gave us feedback on it. He always offered his help along the way of our wedding planning. When we arrived to California, he met us at the venue for the rehearsal and spent time with us before and after the rehearsal, that was the first time we met in person. I remember my husband and I saying to each other " I like him, he is going to be great" we felt such a relief, one less thing to worry about! The day of the wedding, Scott got there early, as scheduled. He and CJ were super nice, friendly and worked well with the wedding coordinator to stay on schedule. My husband and I felt very comfortable with him. Even one of my friends asked if we had known him from before. Scott made all my guests feel comfortable. One of my friends asked him to take a picture with her cellphone, and Scott called me and my husband to stand next to him, so he pretended to take a picture of my friend, when in fact he was taking selfies with us using my friend's phone. OMG that was hilarious! We all laughed so hard! Scott invested a great deal of time with us and made sure we had what we wanted/needed! Planning everything with Scott was stress free. He was very clear on the services he was offering and we had clear expectations.We had a great experience with him and CJ. We greatly recommend him for your photography needs! My husband and I got married in September 2018 and our reception was at the lovely Queen Mary. We met Scott at the Queen Mary wedding expo and have been so impressed by him from the moment we met. Scott and his team (John, Michele, and CJ) truly went above and beyond with providing us all of our photography needs including engagement photo shoot (we wanted to do two different locations on the same day and Scott was able to make it work), photo booth, video, and photography. Scott was willing to do anything and everything in his power to meet our needs and he exceeded our expectations! Scott is not your typical photographer, he played a HUGE role in our wedding from start to finish and wore many hats, such as that of a coordinator. Scott took the time to meet with my husband and I to get to know us, the church coordinator, and the wedding coordinator. Scott was present at our rehearsal and even led the rehearsal pointing out important details that were crucial to consider for the photos and video to come out great. It was noticeable Scott really cared about our wedding day being perfect. We are so grateful we chose Scott was our photographer. Scott literally thought of everything, down to all of the details often overlooked. Scott is exceptional in his work and offers reasonable prices and add-ons. Scott is very detail oriented, professional, prompt, knowledgeable, friendly, and has a fun, bubbly, down to earth personality that made it easy to work with him. We found Scott off of thumbtack.com (I would review on that but I deleted the account) and Scott gave me a quote within budget, which consisted of great photography for 4 hour coverage and free videography. I was all for it. My fiancé kept asking if I was okay with his pictures since I have a background in photography and videography. But I loved his beautiful shots and angles. Once we finally met up with Scott, my fiancé and Scott hit it off like it was a great first date. They talked about everything, movies, comics, politics and also our wedding, of course. We talked for a good two hours. I was so glad they hit it off. Fast forward to 3 months later to the wedding date (4/8/16). It was raining a couple days before the wedding and he was concerned about back up plans if we could move the ceremony inside and of course we talked to the venue about that before hand. But he always to stay updated which was nice. Scott and CJ were so great at the wedding. I didn't even notice Scott, he was like a ninja during the ceremony. Having one photographer for a wedding is hard work but he was amazing. For the after photos he worked really well with kids and made all the guys relaxed so they could have fun. Everything was done a week later (edited photos and final video). Now I can say that the video is just documentary style but it is so worth it to have a video of our special day! My husband loved him (and that's big to say for a guy) and so did I. The pictures and video came out so beautiful. I'm just getting around to writing this even though my wedding was last June because both happy and sad life changes happened, so I put it off until now. I just want to say that I don't think that my husband and I could have found a better photographer for our minuscule budget than Scott. We contacted him through Thumbtack because he offered a better pictures per hour deal than the others and even adding the additional hour was worth it. However, let's talk about things other than cost. Scott is such a fun and down to earth person. He is willing to work with your needs including scheduling meetings in locations that are convenient for you, make sure that has coordinated with you about what you want pictures of and the music for the DVD. Talking to him is like talking to a close friend, especially if the conversation involves Disney. He had already met our officiant and had worked previously at our location and with our day-of coordinator (listening to them banter made you think they were siblings!) He joked with my guests with helped keep the high-spirits during our wedding and reception. I had requested that I get pictures with specific people that I didn't get to see often and he made sure that happened. CJ did a great job with the video and truly told our wedding day story so that it feels like it can be relived for those who couldn't make it. First of all I must Thank Scott so much for going above and beyond to help make our wedding day perfect in every way! As soon as I met Scott I knew he was going to be great; he is enthusiastic about what he does, and he is FUNNY, friendly and personable (which is great when trying to gather large groups for photos). He was able to make it to our wedding rehearsal, and he was a tremendous help as he was able to direct the flow of the rehearsal and keep everyone on track (which was needed because the coordinator seemed too shy to be able to do it alone). On our wedding day, he was able to knock out all our family and wedding party pictures out so quickly and easily that we were even able to get in a few pictures I thought we wouldn't have enough time to do! He does everything in his power to get amazing pictures, and is great with getting the kids to laugh! Scott is easy to get ahold of, he always responds to messages quickly, and he will continuously check in with you to see how wedding plans are going. I would absolutely recommend Scott and S.T. My husband and I booked Scott for our Wedding last year and he was AMAZING!!!! He has an awesome personality and make everyone feel very comfortable, as sometimes taking posed pictures can be kind of awkward. He made our planning process so easy and the pictures came out stunningly. Now we have almost been married a year, and last month our house got burglarized. They stole all our wedding pictures that we had from Scott. I was upset and mad. Asking myself "why would someone take our wedding pictures?!?" So I contacted him and informed him of the situation. Taking a risk because I know normally pictures are not kept for that long. As I waited for his response I was kicking myself in the butt for not placing them all on a hard drive. Then the best possible thing happened. He informed me that he still had all the pictures and will give us a new USB. I was so thrilled to have all our pictures back. Being the groom, I wasn't much for wedding planning. I let my (now) wife take the reins for most of the decision making (happy wife, happy life, right??) This first meeting I had with Scott was when he took our engagement photos. He didn't flinch when we asked him to drive over an hour to the location we wanted and even let us include our bulldog puppy - making funny noises and silly faces to get her to cooperate. Ha! He had great ideas for shots and areas of the park lined up when we got there. During our wedding and reception, on Oct 14th, he and CJ seemed to be everywhere at all times. They never missed a beat, or an opportunity to get the right photo. My wife is very detailed and Scott was right there with her every step of the way - making sure to get all of her "must have' photos checked off. Scott quoted 4-6 weeks to have our photos ready, and we had them in less than 3. If you need a photographer.... ST Photography is the way to go! read more

They say the first dress you try on is usually the one... well, so are photographers, in our case! ST Photography was the first company I came across while searching for wedding vendors. No others came close to the value and information Scott gives! He was involved (and very thorough) from day 1, asking questions I would never have thought of and answering all of mine without delay. He was at our walk thru and rehearsal, as well, giving valuable input to make sure our day stayed focused on us! I had quite a long list of "must take" photos the day of, and Scott made sure to get all of them. I had many guests at our wedding comment to me on how great Scott and CJ were in capturing the day - Oct 14th, 2017. I can't wait to see our finished wedding photos and video! Working with Scott was just an absolute pleasure. He is very fun yet professional, very communicative and flexible. Leading up to our event, he met with us when and where was best for us and was early arriving every time. His contract and terms were very clear and easy to work with. On the day of our wedding, him and CJ, his videographer, were there early scouting out good spots for pictures. He even put GoPros in the trees around the ceremony!! So cool! He made sure that we fit all of our important moments into the time we'd contracted him for to avoid us accruing any extra charge. After the event, he kept us updated on the progress of our photos and had them edited and to us in less than the quoted time. And again, he met with us at our convenience, including driving quite a distance, to bring us our package. Really just great! No complaints!! read more

Scott is a warm, compassionate man. When my wife and I were looking for a photographer for our wedding we met with several folks. Scott was hands down the most understanding, gregarious, professional person we met. After about a month of contracting with Scott we decided to have the photo booth and also added a videographer. Scott immediately set us up with CJ, who wonderfully complimented Scott's photography. They work well together. Scott works well with adults and children - in our case, Grandchildren. From the first time I spoke with Scott I knew it was going to be a great match for myself and then fiancé . Scott was so friendly, and completely made us feel at ease. Scott was so helpful at the wedding, from tying ties, to helping my guest , to picking ants off my dress . Scott Thomas was the photographer at my best friend's wedding: Brianda and Mario R. I was her maid of honor. They married on September 1st, 2018 at the Queen Mary. He was very friendly and personable throughout day. He made it a fun experience for all of us as we got ready, went to the church service and then the reception. As we took pictures on the ship, he made suggestions as to how we should pose and moved around to different areas of the ship. That's great for me because I'm awkward in pictures, lol.
