Sunday services are at 9 and 11, with a separate program for kids at the same time. Family Summit (a service for parents and kids) is at 10:20. The mission statement of the children's ministry is "Partnering with Parents to Teach Kids to Love God and Love Others." They recognize that parents have a lot more time with kids than the church does, so it aims to empower the whole family. Teens gather on Sunday nights, and the Awaken midweek service (with a large meeting and smaller breakout groups focusing on various topics) is Thursday at 7. Visit the well-run Porch Cafe for coffee, specialty drinks, and finger foods between services. Rockpointe's ministry has a local, national, and international focus. One exciting recent development is that three families in the church have committed to spending five years in Africa as missionaries, an effort that the congregation will be helping to support. I hadn't gone to church in years, really, and I have experienced a lot of religious abuse and neglect. This place isn't perfect, but I feel welcome there, and every friend I've brought has been welcomed and embraced in the same way. Honestly, if that's not what any church or religion exists to do--to love, comfort, and encourage each other, I don't see the point of it existing. *And there are too many out there that are the exact opposite, whether they realize it or not. I like that this place continually points people to a loving God and doesn't take credit for the loving work of God. Rather, it encourages everyone to be active partakers and participants in God's Grace.

When I got home I looked up and read many outstanding reviews. So I went the first Sunday of October 2022 and felt immediately that this church was going to be my place of worship. Everyone is sooo nice and welcoming. Pastor Tony Rhea is phenomenal! As are the associate pastors. I am sooo thankful that God led me to my church home. So, unless you are a full time church-going person, you may be like me and skip around from place to place, attending whichever is most convenient for what you are trying to accomplish. Well, if you are a Catholic and live in or near Clinton Twp., San Francesco is a great church for you to check out. I've gone to San Francesco on and off since I was in my teens, and I've always called it the "Dago Church." Yes, quite a few of my Italian brethren attend this church, but it is not exclusively Italian. However, it does have small church appeal, which appeals to my Italian roots. San Francesco Church is fairly small, which I love. You won't find a rock and roll band playing hymns, overhead projectors playing short videos, or any of that other new age nonsense some Catholic churches are now apparently adopting. No, instead you will find the sense of community and prayer that most Catholics grew up with. I don't know about you, but I'm a fairly progressive guy, but I do NOT need or want my church to be like a Friday night out at a bar, with some grungy music playing, even if the lyrics are inspirational. I do want my church to make me think about myself, my relationship with God, my community, and so forth. San Francesco focuses on that in a really great way. Are you ready to have a baptism for a new baby? SF has got you covered. Maybe you've got a wedding planned, and need a quaint, but very lovely church. Then check them out. Do I go to church as often as I should? No. No, I don't. But when I do, San Francesco is the only church that comes to mind when I need to receive absolution.

I enjoy the 11:30 mass and even joined the RCIA program to be baptized and converted. My boyfriends kids are in Catechism and enjoy it. Not only was I baptized here when I was a baby but I have fond memories of coming here during Lent Christmas Easter and other holidays with my parents growing up. I also attended their catechism here which top mold me into the person I am today. It was held every Wednesday and still has helped to this day. If you're looking for a home Church this is one surely not to pass out. There is a younger priests here now and a lot of the original followers as well. This church does so much for the community I can't even begin to start to say the extent of the kindness they radiate. They help people who don't have enough money during Thanksgiving holidays and donate Thanksgiving dinner. If people cannot afford clothing St Vincent de Paul comes in and you are greeted by a very sweet lady who will come talk with you and make sure your children are properly closed for the winter season. And at Christmas time they go above and beyond to make sure every child has something small to open on Christmas. They remodeled this church about 15 years ago and the warship Sanctuary is beautiful. There's also a place where you can go and light a candle for a loved one or someone who's dearly Departed. Unlike these modern Christian churches this one is an original one of those Originals where it is so good there is no need to change anything. I will continue to come here and I will continue to bring my children here because I know if they're here they're getting the word of God properly.
