It is a beautiful church and mission serving the immigrant community and Fellsmere. It does many…read morewonderful things for the area. The church has many beautiful statues inside, I love the Mary one, Holy Family one, and Mother Teresa of Calcutta one. It also has one of Juan Diego with his tilma and a nice painting of the Virgin of Guadalupe. Father Adrian who used to be here at this church, is amazing, the best most humble priest ever. Kind, loving, humble, and Christ-like person. We really miss him. We wish he would come back. Father Adrian always started the mass on time and was punctual. He said a thoughtful succinct homily respecting his people, keeping the mass at a standard time people are used to here. He seemed to love and embrace all people. Not making demands on parishioners. He is so missed. He never wore plastic shields and masks and all covered up, he lived with faith and you could tell he trusted in the Lord. He was so kind, humble, and loving of his neighbors and parishioners. Father Adrian was more like Joel Osteen, loving, non-judging, and inspiring. A lot of priests could learn a lot from Pastor Joel Osteen. Some of the priests at St. Helen's and St. John of the Cross are good too. Father Adrian never seemed insecure, nor talked in circles, and he showed a lot of love, education, respect, and consideration for the wonderful people who attend mass each week here. Priests earn respect when they show it themselves, by starting mass on time, then not talking for so long in the homily, that is not showing love, consideration, or respect for the people who want to come to the Catholic mass each week here. It was nice when we had a nice priest like Father Adrian here, a priest who is humble, punctual, succinct, respectful, loving, considerate, and inspiring so we can learn and not feel depleted, rundown, offended, or runoff by a priest who thinks he is God. God's timing is perfect, He is always punctual, respectful, and considerate of his people. You can tell Fr. Adrian has God and the Holy Spirit in him. We really miss Father Adrian and priest like him who we are used to, loving, kind, considerate, punctual, educated, respectful, non-judging, and confident in their love of God, trusting in our Lord showing such faith. Father Adrian is a real man of faith.

Calling upon God's judgment is not even necessary because the judgement of God starts with the Church. If you have ought against a believer and if your a believer than it is wise to follow the guidance set forth by Jesus Christ and in the Epistles addressing issues that can grow deep within the soul souring oneself with torment and bitterness. That is leaving your gift at the alter and going to your Brother or Sister and be reconciled. The key to victory is the unconditional working of God's perfect love being worked in you and you growing and maturing in the most holy faith allowing God's perfect love to be worked out of you, whether the person is good or bad, a friend or your enemy. Whether they deserve it or not, whether they ask for it or not. That is the Ministry we as Children of God are called to, the ministry of reconciliation. UnForgiveness keeps us in bondage to the past offender. Why allow that persons alleged offense continue to torment you.? Forgiveness is being merciful. Please consider tempering your call for vengeance with mercy.

This is a review for the historical building only. This is the first and oldest church in…read moreFellesmere. It is the oldest church to in Indian River County to worship in it's original sanctuary. It was built on land donated by the Fellesmere Farms Co. in 1913. The church began as the Fellesmere Union Church but voted to become the Fellesmere Community Bible Church in 1926. The seed for the church was planted when Reverend James A. Liggitt who owned land in Fellesmore championed a church where different religions could gather together under one house of worship. The Reverend Fletcher D. Baker who was to become the first pastor of the church arrived in Fellesmere in 1912. He had fought in the Union army in Gettysburg. A committee was formed to build the church and construction was undertaken by Victor J. Hadin over three months. The original building was one story wood frame wood frame building with a ten foot by ten foot bell tower. On March 4, 1913 the church held it's first service and has been continually operating ever since. There is a historical marker in front of the church explaining it's history.

My parents have been attending this church basically since we moved to Florida. One of the first…read morethings we noticed when comparing this church community to the other christian churches was the warmth we were greeted with. As kids right after we attended we asked our parents if we could stay at this church. It has one semi-traditional service where they sing hymns either on screen or through a traditional hymn book but I would say if traditional worship services aren't your thing you should still give it a try. This is a church that wants to honor Jesus Christ in all it does. Our area has a good selection of amazing churches. If you are looking for a church for the whole family it does have both the adult service as well as children's church (kids church). I would highly recommend you check this church out even if it is a bit out of the way, if you are like my family you may find it is worth the travel.
