I heard that DIS had an open MRI, so I was willing to give them a chance. When I got there, I arrived a little early and they went ahead and got started. The whole time they were all about making me feel comfortable. They gave me headphones and let me pick the music. The technician constantly asked if I was okay and would let know what was about to happen and what to expect. He constantly reassured me the whole time. My husband was allowed in the room with me as well. My mom had previously gone here for a different MRI and said she would recommend it to everyone. They quickly gave me a disc with my images on it and sent reports to my doctor for follow up.

I was greeted by a very friendly and most helpful staff member who aided me with the registration. I was called back to the MRI room before I had completed a questionnaire and the Technician helped me finish. I was treated with kindness and respect through the process. My doctor remotely diagnosed sciatica, prescribed some meds and asked me to get X-ray's. Luckily, this spot was a few miles away so I had the orders faxed here. The kind staff who helped me check in were very helpful although they couldn't find my doctor's fax! I was very disappointed but they called my doctor's office snd got a new fax in something like 30 minutes. Apparently, my original fax was somewhere in a pile of 1600 faxes! Still, the staff saved the day. I was seen quickly and Jennifer the X-ray technician was very patient and professional. Getting changed and on the table was a slow process for me but ultimately, the X-rays were successfully taken. Now, I wait for my doctor to recommend a course of action.
