It has a wide range of fiction and non fiction books, for reference, and pleasure reading. There is an excellent children's library with soft comfortable seating, and a superb selection of books for all ages. During the summer holidays, there are often challenges run which encourage children to read 6 books and then get a certificate etc. CDs, DVDs and console games are available to rent for a small charge, and there is a quick drop off point for those that just want to drop in their books without renewing or paying a fine for being late! Internet access is available to all, within guidelines, upon application to the main desk. This is an excellent facility that is well used by the people of Norwich.

Situated on a junction of the busy Plumstead Road, this library is easy to find but does not have…read moremuch parking to offer. However, I can usually find somewhere down Hilary Avenue, a road just off this. It is a branch of the Norfolk Library and stocks a decent selection of adult and children's books. The children's area is particularly lovely and appealing to young children especially. Some of the books are set out in a row of colourful wooden boxes to look like a train. There are also soft round cushions and some shaped like chickens etc where the children can sit to look at the books. (Although my children like to try and make a tower with them!). There is also a sofa area where you can sit and enjoy flicking through books with them or read a magazine while they are busy choosing. Most libraries these days stock a selection of CDs, DVDs and computer games as well and Plumstead Road is no exception, all very reasonably priced and up to date. Computers for internet access are also available, free of charge. I am looking forward to visiting the outside area of this library on my next visit as earlier this month they opened their new Butterfly Garden. Apparently, there are benches to sit on and relax in landscaped gardens. By spring, the buddleias etc they have planted should be attracting many butterflies and I imagine this will be a lovely place to escape to for a quiet read!

It is very quite which I find the perfect place to come and study for exams.

This used to be a just a library full of thousand and thousands of books but just recently it's had…read morea total revamp and it also lets you borrow audio books, dvds and it also has internet access for you to use too. It's building is one of the original buildings in Loddon and it's situated right beside the Church Plain car park. It also has a seperate childrens section which my children love. The staff here are very helpful and friendly and if there is a particular book that you are looking for and they do not have it in they can tell you when it's next available of if they don't have it they can order it in for you. This library also offers times when you can invite your children in to listen to stories. It's free to join and I would recommend it to all people in the local area.

This library was a really good library when I used to visit it. The librarians were actually nice…read more(unlike all other librarians ive ever met). The internet access was always available and books were aplenty. If they didnt have a book in they would veyr nicely order it for you and call you when it came in. You could also reserve books so that when they were returned they instantly became yours.
