They openly talked about my diagnosis in the lobby that had other patients. I just asked for a basic cleaning the same day. They did the X-rays to diagnose but the basic cleaning was somehow considered a luxury. They described the deep cleaning the same way my dentist does regular cleanings. I definitely think it's a scam. read more

If there was an option to put zero stars I would. I went in for a root canal retreat today with a specialist/endodontist by the name Ahmad Alnatour and it was a horrible and degrading experience. He is rude condescending, and arrogant. I have had root canals before and never have felt this way before. In the middle of the produce I started to feel like I was chocking on my own saliva and started to gag, neither him or the dental assistant offered to suction. I raised my hand in order to ask for suction and he got upset and told me to stop raising my hand...how else could I communicate I was chocking? With attitude he told the assistant to suction. He proceeded with the root canal and I started squirming in the chair because I could feel much pain and he didn't even bother to ask if I was okay, there was no empathy or any emotion nor did it seem like he cared. I again raised my left hand to tell communicate I was in pain and I asked for more numbing medication. He acted bothered about me raising my hand and replied he was not going to give me more numbing medication because he was almost done, so he continued to work while it was very obvious I was in pain. He still took another 15 minutes to finish. He told the assistant to give mw 800mg of ibuprofen for the pain and left the room without giving me any follow up instructions or tell me the procedure was done. This doctor lacks concern for patient care and bedside manner. I immediately told the assistant I need to speak to Management to place a complaint. Management noted my concern and said they would speak to the doctor, but made a comment about how good his root canal were...I let them know he could be a great doctor, but its useless if he has a bad attitude and doesn't know how to treat patients with dignity and respect. Oh, also what felt degrading during the procedure was that he did not talk to me to let me know to move my head from one side or the other...he would just grab my face and move it. On one occasion he told the assistant "chin" and she grabbed my chin and pulled it up...this was so un called for. He could have simply communicated with me. Patients should not be treated this way. Needless to say I will not be going back to this place. Horrible experience!!!!!!!! read more

My son got hit by a car last August. One of his teeth broke and half stayed in his mouth. He ended up having to have the remainder of the tooth pulled and a bone graph done. The whole staff could see I was very emotional and really helped me figure out everything. All of this is quite expensive but they good payment plans to help us with no money. Everything here is geared to upsell you on services not needed. I've been here off and on over the years and refuse to return after they've not changed their practices. Deep clean for $700?! Come on, really? I wanted whatever is covered by insurance. They finally concede that they can do that, but I have to come in the next day for it rather than the same day as my appointment (really lame and tell me you don't value my time without telling me). Lo and behold, what was covered yesterday by insurance at no cost, is now $60. Everything is arbitrary pricing. They tell you they have to do these deep cleanings because the insurance comes back to them saying the patient needed it...they must think most people are idiots to believe their explanations. I never thought I would say that I have a favorite dentist, but I have a couple here Dr. Pham and Dr Lin are great. from the ladies in the office to the hygienist and the assistance, you are in good hands with good people. Cheated the insurance company fraud! Messed up bad!! My husband went in cause they gave him a partial connected to erupted teeth which broke. Went back pulled erupting teeth waited 3 weeks for new impression. They said they couldn't find order, oh you picked up NO! They said they lost them..before this gave a bottom plate with metal teeth the another plate with no front teeth. Didn't use new impression because teeth came back with no front teeth. Gina Moua was amazing. She's incredibly skilled, and I loved how she explained her process as she worked. I overheard someone checking on her, and it seems like they may have been short-staffed, becuase she didnt have an assistant, but I couldn't tell she needed one because she handled everything so seamlessly on her own. Thorough dental exams, but staff appears to be trained to use high pressure to upsell very expensive dental care to patients that's not covered by dental insurance. I requested a written quote for recommended care but never received it. I was told that it would be better to meet with a member of the team so that they can go over the recommendations and finance options with me. Several months ago I changed to another dentist through my dental insurer and Stadium Dental is still texting me appointment reminders from a phone number that's not in my phone contacts so I thought it was spam. I called the phone # listed on their website and told them I am no longer a Stadium dental patient. The staff member said ok, I will cancel the appointment and then she hung up. read more

I denied other services they tried to get me to do and then told me that my insurance didn't cover those services and when I denied those services they got upset and did a terrible job on my general cleaning. One evening, my 14-year-old daughter fell off a tire swing while up at the park and came home running through our front door in tears, clutching her mouth. She had badly chipped her front tooth and was in pain and panic. Although it was late and the office was closed, I promised her we'd head to Stadium Dental first thing in the morning, and that's exactly what we did. We arrived bright and early with no appointment, and while the front desk kindly let us know they were fully booked, they still made the effort to help us. We expected a long wait but were called back within 10 minutes. My daughter was still crying as we went in for X-rays. That's when Dr. Lin stepped in calm, kind, and reassuring. He told us not to worry, that he would take care of everything. I can't describe the relief I felt hearing those words. Dr. Lin repaired her tooth in under an hour, and it looked just as beautiful as it did prior to her accident. He's a perfectionist who clearly cares deeply for his patients. He explains everything, works with such gentleness, and is the ideal dentist for anyone with dental anxiety. My daughter had a special event that evening that we thought she might have to miss, but thanks to Dr. Lin, she made it, smiling confidently. What could have been a heartbreaking day turned into one of gratitude and relief. Dr. Lin went above and beyond in a moment we truly needed it most. Depends on who you get, what your insurance covers, what kind of care you will get. If you just need a cleaning they will hit you up for a root canal for 500 plus dollars. Not a 50$ cleaning. They always run behind. Whether you are early, on time, or a little late yourself, be prepared to wait around for at least an hour before actually getting care. They seem unorganized especially around the holidays. They take patients even when they are behind and don't have time to. They seem more interested in the money than actually providing care. The dental assistants can be rude and bossy. When you ask about the time they can be snippy and dismissive. It's actually sad because they are good dentists but their CI care sucks and that's coming from a nursing student & patient. They overcharge, do okay dentist work and treat you like your beneath them simultaneously. First I had a horrible experience with my duaghter and decided to let them make it up and now they have failed me as a patient. Went here for a cleaning and they informed me after my cleaning that I needed two root canals and had six cavities that needed to be fixed immediately! The cost was well over 10k. I found it weird because my teeth felt amazing. Went to a trusted family dentist for a second opinion. The family dentist took X rays and checked my teeth and stated I didn't have a single cavity or any root canals. Stadium wanted me to pay 10k to drill into my perfectly healthy teeth. Don't do it!!!!!!. I have made the mistake of giving this dental office 3 chances to get their standard of patient care and quality of work down but this last time was my last straw. I was in so much pain and they gave me an appt. The Dr was nice and told me about an infection I had from a root canal that was also done by them. I questioned the work due to my crown falling and other things being done mediocre before. Dentist let me know that it was just due to luck and that nothing is guaranteed. This was not where it went bad. I left on my vacation after my consult and I had the worst pain 2 days later. Called the office to leave a msg for my Dr. and hrs later I called again, no one even knew I had called the 1st time!!!. Short story, I had to find an endodontist in Socal just to get some help. Oh and your wondering if the Dr ever called me back to check in?..... I mean at least a front desk lady to respond to my call?.NOPE!!!!!, It's been 3 days and a completely different office later and I still haven't been called. As a former employee is so sad having to see from a customers prospective how horrible the service and management is . I left about a yr ago from this location and it seems like the owners wife Mary still holds a grudge , I went in for a emergency root canal and crown and was told I could get everything done in 1 day and have my payment plans set up . 1. I was able to get my root canal but not my crown as the In office crown Machine was out of service 2. I was unable to make my payment arrangements because they didn't have enough knowledge on there system to take a down payment in cash and the rest set up on auto pay . I was told to I would receive a call back from the assistant manager oliva to set everything up and to make my appt for my crown . I never receive a call back from anyone and I called multiple times to get a solution and no one ever called me back . I scheduled a new appt , when I arrived per Mary my appt had been cancelled and I was not informed , I spend 1 hr figuring everything out there mess to then be told I wasn't able to get a crown as I hadn't payed my passed bill. I explained the situation and the owners wife Mary had no care in the world didn't expect nothing less as she is rude arrogant and heartless to make matters even better she charged me $200 for the visit idk what for as nothing was done . 2 stars as a whole. 5 stars Xray specialist and the Dentist. Super friendly and fun. -2 stars for the procedure pricing and the planners attitude. Cleaning appointment was broken down into 2 sessions (reasoning was for insurance coverage). Even with insurance, they asked for me to pay $70 out of pocket. Procedure plan was 3 root canals, and 8 cavities. Out of pocket price? $15k. That's correct. $15,000 ,USD. Here's a catch- they offered a crown for in house, which is additional fee. Once I turned down the in-house crown offer, the planner sighed and looked obviously annoyed. I just got cleaning done at another place in one appointment and it was free from insurance coverage. Pricing for the root canal and crown is quite ridiculous in my opinion. Other dental office quoted no more than $2-3k for everything. read more

After making me pay upfront for my surgery in September and not being reimbursed until the end of November, I made the mistake of making a cleaning appointment for my son who's been away at school. An hour after his scheduled appt. he's still sitting in the waiting room. And being told he needs to pay out of pocket now for some of the cleaning. We're fully covered by Delta Dental. Today I had a root canal at Stadium Dental! I was petrified to say the least! As soon as I walked in and got to the check in desk the girls were extremely friendly and when I told them I was very nervous they reassured me that I was going to be just fine and it wouldn't be as bad as I thought it was! When the gentleman called my name to take me in the back he was very friendly and even joking. When I told him I was scared he said well we're putting you all the way in the back. We're gonna walk through the maze and make it so you can't run and we both started laughing! It eased my mind even more. When the doctor came in, he was very nice and explained exactly what he was going to do. The entire thing procedure was.PAIN FREE!! When I got out the girls at the desk said how are you and I said that was amazing and they were all very happy for me. When I checked out, the bill was less than half of what I thought it was going to cost! It's wonderful that they put it on my smile generation account.
