This isn't just your normal park as it also has a memorial and various art sculptures in the park plus we passed a small playground at one point all keeping for quite the interesting walk. My friend was telling me they used to have sheep grazing! I'm not sure if it was just the time of year I went or if they have been permanently removed, but no sheep were to be had in March. It's big on festivals in the summer apparently with a nice open air pavilion type theater outdoor area.

I'm just here to talk about the venue. ...And what a venue it is. Okay I can see all the die-hards coming back. Yes it's the most amazing stadium ever and etc. They have fire and smoke and guitars and bass during the intros. So obviously. And apparently that happens when they score (not that I would know since it's an ever-elusive occurrence during my visits). It's just me, because I had to get used to an event that's more like a 2-act musical with Intermission. Good luck using the toilet in that 15 minutes, especially if you're trying to grab a drink and a bite while you're out there. I thought "surely I'm in the women's line" but no, we're all out here in line because nobody could live with themselves if they missed the only score of the night while in the loo. Enough of that. The staff are "helpful" as they help you not sit in the wrong seat. This is good because so many people think they're the only smart ones trying to sit down close in *not their seat. This is Britain, people, have some decorum and queue for your proper seat. The match was spectacular. I love nill-zed events. The pitch was immaculate. Don't you think of putting one toe on that perfect turf. The hometown boys were raucous. There can't be too much singing. The away fans were spunky. They also love not seeing their team score. But a fun time will be had by all. Secret tip: leave 2 mins before stoppage time and beat the maddening crowds back to the tube for a happy night back home. Or stay out till all hours celebrating. One day you'll win it all (maybe even this year).

Stadium MK is definitely the most impressive new build stadium I've been to in the UK (note I've…read morenot yet been to the Emirates, Wembley or Brighton which I hear are all excellent too) which as I'm a bit of a footballing traditionalist is big praise. The ticket prices for the Championship were £25 which is acceptable and much better than Leeds who charged us Forest fans £37. The pie was £3.50 but it was really big and gourmet too - not the usual and football grounds. The "guest facilities" inside were to a very high level. Four big screens around the ground in each corner meant everyone could see the advertising - it's a shame they don't broadcast the match but there probably aren't enough fans to make it worth it. There's two tiers almost all of the way around and I was sat in the upper tier of the North End for the away support. There was even an outdoor smoking section which many fans really appreciated - much better than everyone smoking in the toilets which is what happens usually! Cushioned seats with lots of leg room for all, and even slow-close seats like you'd find on a classy toilet. Nice. However the comfy seats mean that you actually want to sit down in them which surely contributes to the lesser atmosphere. MK Dons aren't a lot of people's favourite team, in fact even in MK they could only rustle up about 11000 fans to the match which was the last of the season. However they gave Forest as many tickets as we liked and we brought over 4000 and made a lot of great noise. A good day out.

It's capable of a great atmosphere (the team will need to get back to the Prem for that, they're 2 tiers down), it's held rock concerts like the awesome Bon Jovi an the awful Nickelback and someday hopefully me, and it's a cute sky blue like the team. It looks great inside and out like my gf. It was part of the Olympics and can hold a whopping 32k fans which is fantastic for a new stadium. It cost a whopping 113 million which is crazy. Because the stadium is owned by ACL I'll keep it at 4 stars, they're really mean to the club itself. It's an AMAZING stadium, but CCFC need to own it in order for this to work properly.

If your out early enough the Harvester restaurant and pub next door are in an ideal location for a bite to eat before or after. You cant miss IKEA just over the road. With 6 floors to shop and plenty of carparking (4 hours if you spent £10 in IKEA)

It creates an intimidating atmosphere of course. It was built in 92 for 16 mil, and is the pride of South East London, with a capacity of around 20k. As you can see from the pictures, it's absolutely fantastic and the atmosphere is intense, but it would be better if it filled in the corners.

The stadium itself is smaller and more compact compared to other but premier league team stadiums but it creates an atmosphere like no other. PRO TIP: Go to the shed for a fun standing atmosphere, go to Matthew Harding stand if you are a big fan. Go to east upper is you want to taunt opposing fans. Go to west side and west view if you want a quitter and family friendly experience
