She greeted me at the main office and showed me the area and my lovely studio. I later had a problem with my cable and phone and she was able to help me rectify both of my problems without me having to deal with utility issues in a new city. Rania was not only very slow to respond, she was quite rude as well. Im thinking it wasn't one of her more expensive listings so it was less of a priority. Let's get back to this illegal deck. No record of being built. No permit ...not even any records of an application! In order for us to get it permitted with the County of San Bernardino it would cost 3900-6000 ! They want a licensed engineer to draw out all plans of preexisting structure! We had to tear it down! This has been a headache since the moment we closed going back and forth with the county. Did I mention that they also told us it was used as a vacation rental? There was no record of it being used as a short term rental. Lies lies lies. Rania thanks for nothing! Thank heavens for my amazing Agent for helping us throughout yhe process with recommendations. The damage was already done though so do yourself a favor and make sure if you buy one of her listings make sure you check all permitting! But once my house had the first open house, she did nothing more to promote it and even told me she "held back marketing" due to her thinking on challenges I was experiencing without even asking if I wanted a pause on promotion. She helped me organize my garage in prep. which was really appreciated and I took her out to dinner to thank her and she offered some referrals for repair work which unfortunately turned out to not be as professional as they should have been, and I had to hire additional people to fix the problems. I took my house off the market and now more than 2 weeks later she still has not returned my house key. "I'll get back to you as soon as I can"...Now a week later with no key. It's clear I was never a priority. Interesting she bashed Redfin as not being involved in listings with their 1% fee, and yet, she has now made herself worse than what she felt threatened by. She said Refin realtors were hands off after the first open house and this was not far off after all was said and done. But after the open house out of the blue instantly said my house was over priced without any consultation to pricing before listing. It was just a total about face to side with agents who came to the house. The market changed dramatically the week I listed, not for the better. But she did not ask me about not marketing the house- she just did that on her own. Leaving me with the feeling that the listing was not a high priority.
