For years we received excellent customer service pre & post purchases. Our most recent purchase was matching his & hers upgraded recliners with fabric treatments/warranty and separate 5 year extended warranty on both chairs. Just one month outside of the Lazyboy 1 year warranty , hardware fell onto the floor underneath the chair. There was also sawdust indicating this problem was frame related. We called the store for assistance and was quickly referred to the post warranty company. That company only handles electrical and fabric repair claims sending us back to LazyBoy. We called the store again and were referred to the LazyBoy repair team. They required a prepaid service visit fee before they would schedule a visit. Store Service I've left messages for the store manager Blake Granner twice who hasn't had the decency to return my calls. We have spent an unreasonable amount of time to get help repairing a $2,000 dollar recliner that remains useless in disrepair. This is Not customer service and every effort we made on the phone was met with complications including request for us to take photos underneath the recliner that was not possible for us to do. !! This is the LAST LazyBoy product we will purchase !! Note to LazyBoy furniture You've lost your Industries position in Quality Control and Customer Service. When their Sales team pushed the warranties we purchased I should have asked why LazyBoy only stood behind their Products for only one year. I've read other reviews here and it's clear this is a trend for everyone to be concerned about. Signed Retired Aerospace Engineering Manager. Art

We are a retired couple, so no one was abusing the sofa in any fashion. My husband filed a claim with ServeCo, their "protection plan." The claim was immediately, and I mean IMMEDIATELY, dismissed based on the "description and/or photos" provided. Yet, he hadn't sent any photos and he only had a 5-minute phone conversation with them, with the anticipation of an additional step in the process. This is basically equivalent to a fraudulent insurance company, in my opinion. If you decide to purchase from La-Z-Boy, I urge you not to waste your money on the "protection plan" that they peddle. Also, know that some of their fabrics do not stand up to the lightest wear and tear.

As this will be my first listing, I wanted to be sure that I did everything right for my Sellers. So I asked Christine to help me. She LISTENS first! And then asks questions BEFORE jumping in with her suggestions. END RESULT: She gave me much more than I expected. She not only told me what to take out, what to leave in and where to place furniture, art and knick knacks, but she also made some very concrete suggestions on additional items that could be done for little to no cost. And one final note, she always keeps the cost in mind and does her best to maximize her client's investment. I will definitely work with Christine again on future listings as well as my own personal residence. Her sense of color and artistic arrangement are spot on.

It has tall, north-facing windows, so plenty of sunlight during the day with little direct sun. It didn't take her long to come up with a sort of light beige color with a mocha carpet combination. That didn't sound like great colors to me (we were thinking more colorful, etc.), however she promised it would be just right for workshops. She was right. Once I painted and put the carpet in, it had a very calming influence without reducing energy. It's been perfect for our workshops and other meetings. We added a little splash, at her suggestion, with some furniture. If you are doing any kind of project that requires color selection, hire Chris! You'll be so glad that you did.

We took out a few walls to totally open up the space and bring the house into the 21st century. Marina is not a designer that just comes in with color and furniture ideas and makes recommendations. Very detailed in all aspects of the construction work from drawing up blueprints, getting all the necessary city and county approvals and of course her own ideas from design to granite, light fixtures, appliances and of course colors and other ideas. I was a little hesitant at first with some of her ideas as they were a little outside of my box of thinking. However, once I saw the stone wall up that she recommended all my doubts disappeared and we went with most everything she suggested. Bottom line is we could not be happier with the way the project turned out. The design is perfect. Not a single thing we would change now that we are 6 months after completion. Our contractor, Shad Hellmendollar was also excellent and the two of them worked very well together. At first I thought she was on the expensive side, and she is, but when you consider the quality of work, all the detailed drawings, getting approvals, calling in structural engineers to assist, then I would have to say we got more that our money's worth.

I feel compelled to share my experience to help other property owners make informed decisions: Pros: -Quick initial response to concerns -Willing to remove furniture promptly when issues were raised Cons: -Poor quality of furnished items delivered -Furniture showed significant wear and damage -Items were noticeably dirty and poorly maintained -Unprofessional handling of refund situation -Poor follow-through on promises I paid $3,654.02 for staging services, but the quality of furniture delivered was severely substandard. My realtor documented approximately 40 photos showing multiple issues including: -Deep scratches and chips on furniture -Worn finishes -Stained upholstery and rugs -Excessive dust (furniture was so dirty you could write in the dust) -Generally dated and worn items When these issues were brought to the owner's attention, the same day as delivery, he initially offered a 50% refund and immediate destaging. However, despite multiple follow-up communications and providing my refund details, I have yet to receive any refund as promised. The owner cited a non-refundable clause in the contract, but this shouldn't apply when the service quality falls significantly below professional standards. While I understand staging companies have high overhead costs, delivering poor-quality, damaged, and dirty furniture is unacceptable for a professional staging service. What's more disappointing is the failure to honor the promised partial refund. I would strongly recommend thoroughly inspecting any furniture before signing off on services from this company and getting any promises in writing. I attempted to resolve this matter privately multiple times before posting this review. Unfortunately, the lack of follow-through on promised resolution left me with no choice but to share my experience to help others make informed decisions.
