Have used these guys three times now and every time has been outstanding. Had to tow a car from a service station to a shop. They were on time super courteous and very reasonable. Second time I had to tow from a service shop to another service shop, the tow truck driver handled everything. There's a third time where I had to tow to a different service shop and there was some drama with the owner of one service shop and the tow truck driver handled everything. My car was parked at my job near a space that isn't a full space or marked as a motorcycle area. I've worked there for almost 18 years and parked in that area for 5 years. They tried to tow my car (per what security told me). Security stopped the tow as it was private property and this tow company is only contacted by them for tows. No signage or anything displayed for this to be motorcycle parking. It's not a full space due to bridges with supportive beams. read more

These guys were amazing for me today. I called because we had a car parked on a sidewalk in front of our building, they arrived quickly, the man (I didn't get his name!) was very friendly and professional. Unfortunately, a police officer came around the same time and called the person who's car it was so they could move it. DON'T PARK ON SIDEWALKS PEOPLE. But even though the car wasn't towed, the gentleman was very friendly and patient. I will call them again for any future needs. read more

I wish I could give a review without giving a single star! My brother showed up to get his car, registered to him, with his valid Texas ID. The guy at Stampede was, off the bat, very rude and treated us like we were "beneath him" because the car was towed. My brother's address on his ID didn't match the old address shown on DMV records. We asked what alternative info he could present that would suffice. He said insurance. His proof of insurance was in the car and asked if he could retrieve it. The guy said, "no," and said he wasn't allowed to access any of his personal property (not in line with Texas law, I've since learned!). This was a Friday and my brother buys his insurance from a local agent who was closed until Monday. He needed his truck to work over the weekend...in addition to mounting daily fees. We decided we would just purchase additional Insurance online, but needed the VIN #, again which he only had such documents IN his vehicle. Again, he denied him access to his personal property. Throughout all of this, the guy was rude and just ugly. We eventually had to pay for an online search to get his VIN so we could purchase additional insurance....all just because this guy was a total jerk! When your car is a nonconsensual tow, you have no choice what idiots you'll have to deal with...but if you have a choice, do no call Stampede Towing on League Rd. In League City, Texas!!! read more
