Dr Hussain is a great doctor. However, I have no words to describe how absolutely horrendous his office staff is. If you want good patient follow up between doctor visits DO NOT GO HERE. My husband has been a patient. Great doctor. However when my husband had surgery scheduled and wasn't sure if he should discontinue medication before hand, dr Hussain's staff NEVER called back - and we called the office 3 times. My dad is a patient. He is 94 years old. His GP told my dad to go off of a certain heart medication prescribed by Dr Hussain because of some symptoms my dad is having. I have called twice in the last 2 weeks and have yet to get a call back. Additionally, I have asked the office staff to schedule appointments through me because my dad's memory is so bad and one of his kids needs to go with him to the doctor. They haven't done it yet. And by the way, when you call it doesn't matter if you have been on hold for more than an hour (my typical wait time) waiting for your turn to speak to a live person, if your hold time breaks into their lunch or close of business, they will simply disconnect you. So disappointed in this office. My husband very young, had a few test done due to shortness of breath. He had a follow up for the results the following week but due to some emergency the dr had they rescheduled the appointment for 5-6 weeks out. The entire time we were under the impression everything must be ok since no one told us otherwise. Long story short my husband suffered from congestive heart failure and was admitted to the ICU while we were on a family trip. When I called the office to find out his results to see what his echo results were from a month ago the lady on the phone refused to share the information. I was told to call his PCP. I'm just shocked that he was walking around for an entire month with bad heart and not once did anyone reach out to him to go check in to the ER or follow up with his PCP. Dr Khan never asked my permission to do atherectory on leg. He put stent in right leg then next day left leg hurt and never did before. i REALLY REALLY like dr. acharya. he is a good communicator, he listens to his patients' concerns, he takes appropriate action when needed for his patients, he is smart, he is personable, and i recommend him as a cardiologist. the reason for the low rating is the staff at this facility. they are rude, beligerent, terse, and administratively incompetent; that is true of the front desk, scheduling, and medical personnel (not the doctors, but definitely the nurses and assistants). they need to be replaced entirely. i wouldn't hire any of them for my own business because of their heinously awful and entitled demeanor which is especially counterproductive in a practice for people with heart conditions. the staff treats patients like their enemies. this nonsense has been going on for years and it simply is not worth the time, energy, and frustration having to deal with any of them anymore. read more

I saw Dr Acharya. I was referred for a cardiology clearance for surgery. My primary previously shared some concerns with a sonogram on my heart showing pressure on the right side. They did an EKG at Stanislaus cardiology and Dr. Acharya said everything was fine and cleared me for surgery. I did try to ask Dr acharya questions about the recent sonogram I had a few months ago and what my primary doctor had said to me that the results showed pressure on the right side of my heart. Dr. Acharya stated that everybody thinks they're a cardiologist, he did not review any past records that I was aware of he did not answer my questions and he walked out after handing me the EKG results and the clearance. My meeting with him was probably less than three minutes. Hopefully I survived my upcoming surgery at DMC on February 11, 2026. read more

Run from this place Dr Dubey and Dr Acharya are the worst drs their. The staff cannot tell you that they have blocked the drs visits for first time patients. I believe patient concerns and time should be respected, and unfortunately, that has not my experience with Dr. Dubey. I was referred to Dr. Dubey about a year ago for Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS). However, this diagnosis was never reflected in any of my visit notes. During my initial visits, Dr. Dubey ordered several tests (which is another story entirely), but I was ultimately diagnosed with a different condition. When I asked him to repeat the diagnosis, as it was said rather quickly, his response was dismissive--telling me not to worry about it because it was "a big word." I was taken aback by this comment, which I found to be both unprofessional and condescending. On a subsequent visit, I was seen by the Nurse Practitioner (NP), who was kind enough to explain the diagnosis more thoroughly. However, when I mentioned that I originally sought care for POTS and was interested in a tilt table test, she advised me to avoid relying on TikTok for information, which I found unnecessary and dismissive. Most recently, I had a follow-up appointment scheduled for first thing in the morning. Dr. Dubey arrived late to the office and consequently to our appointment. When I expressed my frustration and reminded him of our prior interaction where he dismissed my concerns by calling my diagnosis "a big word," he suddenly wanted to engage in a discussion about it--months after the fact. Given these repeated issues, I've decided to seek care with a different doctor. read more

Dr. Dubey and his staff have been excellent and very receptive to my concerns and questions. They take COVID precautions as serious as a heart attack, which makes me feel at ease. I was diagnosed with stress-related Afib after working the entire 1st wave of COVID and was treated and fully checked out including an Echo and stress test/cardioversion at MMC which fixed my afib. I am a community RN who has used Stanislaus Cardiology for my patients as well (mainly Dr. Wong but same staff) and now being a patient, and let me tell you running an MD office of ANY type is not easy today, nor has it ever been. I have never mentioned to the Doctor or his staff that I am an RN with over 20+ years of experience. I cannot thank Dr. Dubey and his staff at Stanislaus Cardiology for the care I received, fixing my Atrial Fibrillation and making a consult to Stanford for follow-up. The level of education and expertise that goes into being a MD is astronomical, let alone a Cardiologist. You people really have no idea. I am very grateful to have a great heart MD and office so close to home. The receptionists/secretaries and MAs/LVNs/clinical staff were all awesome and good at their jobs, the front desk in particular hustled to make sure my needs were met. My heart is in good hands, and here in the Valley that's a very important thing because good MDs and offices are not easy to find. Especially specialists like Cardiology. I took my Dad here for a cardiology consult. Dr. Khan was professional and pleasant. He explained atrial fibrillation treatment and plan of care. He explained it simply and clearly. My Dad will be returning here for more tests and follow up reassured that he is in good hands with one of the best cardiologists in the county. Front desk staff are busy but professional. It's a busy practice with steady flow of patients but they have a spacious lobby with a big screen TV and accessible restrooms for patients and their family/caregivers to use while waiting. read more

Hands down STILL one of the worst office staff performance I have experience in my many decades of life. For example, today took 3 calls just to get into their queue, then have been "caller number one" for almost 10 minutes, the phone rings and rings and rings" when you observe them in person, you wonder is EVERYONE apathetic or only the ones I have to deal with. As I have said in a previous post, this it NOT a reflection on the medical staff, they are GREAT and always spot on. Horrible Experience! UNCARING! I went in for a treadmill stress test this past week and came out wanting to cry. It was a super hot day and the office was nice and cool EXCEPT for the room where I would be running on the treadmill. It was over 80 degrees and so uncomfortable in that room (a problem they said the owners know about but are not fixing). I asked for water which they did not bring. Nothing was explained to me, the two techs just went about the ordeal as if I was not a human being. The female tech was super rough when putting on the sticky tabs and later ripping them off of me. The blood pressure cuff was so tight it was hurting me and these people did not show any care for me at all. The sonogram tech put goop all over me and I asked for a towel to clean up, he gave me one but then came back in the room right after without knocking, and I was completely exposed. I highly recommend going anywhere els. This treatment of a patient is inexcusable. read more

I visited this office twice before Covid shut everything down, i never met my supposed Cardiologist. me first visit was with a Ultrasound Tech for an image of my heart, and then with a tech to read the heart device in my chest. was then scheduled for an appointment in August 2020. when i arrived for said appointment I was informed that it was supposed to be a telephone appointment but they were unable to reach me, they had my phone # wrong. I gave them my correct number and i am still waiting for that call at the end of June 2021. I have as yet to meet my "Dr" if he even exist. My wife has had bad experiences with this office, although it was a different Dr. Neither of us well ever return to this office, and for sure not Reccomend it to anyone. read more

He had an artery bleed on 1/23/23 and I took him to the hospital....they kept him for a couple of days. I called every day to leave a message for his cardiologist, Dr. Acharya to call me.....no response...NONE!! I was told on 1/25/23 that all my messages had gone to a voicemail "mill" and no one got them......I call bullshit!!! The office staff is the worst....rude, uncaring and I was hung up on TWICE!!!!! I had an echo and a carotid scan. It has been 3 weeks, and I still have not received any results. I even called them twice, and both times, I was told someone would call me back -- no one has called me back. Also, the doctor told me he was going to order certain blood tests, but when I got my results, he only ordered a standard lipid panel -- not what we discussed. If I had only known how rude, inconsiderate and careless this office is I would not have bothered. I have had two visits so far. The first was a cautionary tale. The cardiologist spent most of his time several feet away from me on his laptop desk (catching up on paper work?) I had to ask for him to listen to my heart and check my carotid because I have had some feeling of pressure. I had to ask for a heart monitor and stress echo. He didn't ask for any details whatsoever. He had no real interest in what I had to say, my history, my family history, and no idea why I was there. My heart. You are a cardiologist. My pets get better attention at the vet than I got. Then the nurse? Comes in coughs without covering her mouth right onto the examining bed, which I am certain is rarely used if ever. Orders me to "take off your shirt" and after she sticks the nodes on me asks if I am allergic to adhesive-after. She was rough, rude and inconsiderate. "Don't get it wet" When I went out there were 6 patients lined up like against the wall waiting to talk to the very rude and un-compassionate front office staff. Today was my second day. The place was packed and the doctor was "running late" I was told to go into the restroom, remove the monitor and hand it to the receptionist. I did. "Okay, that's it." Really? This is what I am paying high insurance costs and taking time off work to experience? To have a receptionist take the monitor and say we'll give you a call? How much did the doctor make off me these two visits?These people are raking in the bucks. I have had better service and care at McDonald's. I am very anxious about my stress echo appointment-to say the least. read more

Dr. Acharya is great! The echo tech is also great. However, most of the office staff is consistently rude. I understand customer service is difficult. I've been there. But if you hate your job so much that being rude to patients and their families is just your overall personality, maybe you should find something that makes you a little happier. I'm strictly anti-Karen, and just try to put out as much kindness into the world that I can, even when people are snippy. Why not brighten up someone's day? This is the strangest medical group I have ever experienced. They have women who act as concierges who lead you everywhere. The receptionists are wierd and rude. The building obviously cost big money to build, therefore they charge the big dollars. It's surreal. I have seen Dr. Kahn in the hospital who woke me in the middle of the night and was extremely rude and left after 30 seconds. I saw Dr. Dubey twice who is rude , disrespectful, and dismissive. He knows nothing about arrhythmias. Which is what I came there for. He refused to get my extensive cardiology records, because he said he doesn't need them. He is sending me to Stanford University because there isn't any electrophysiologist in this area who is capable of treating me.
