And I do mean last minute; once there was already snow on the ground! Once the snow melted, they were here in days to skillfully handle what I'm too lazy to do. I'm the only dummy on my block with a bunch of old-growth trees on their property (yes, my lawn-fussy neighbors hate me). There are a TON of leaves. The year I did the job myself, I lost count after forty (40!) lawn & leaf bags filled. Mike & the Top Cut crew made our life so much easier, and did a perfect job! And the price was surprisingly reasonable. No, really! I'm annoyed that there aren't many reviews for Top Cut. They deserve a chance to earn your business. I donated my leaf blower to the maintenance guy at work and I'll never look back.

However Mike and his team are AMAZING!!! They get straight to work and clear away all those pesky Fall leaves littering my yard with their beautiful grass killing ways. We've gotten better at reaching out to them for setting up services early enough to not be complete lazybones waiting til the last minute. As long as they keep blowing we'll keep calling!

We got our lawn done in early fall 2024. When I reached out to Jacob he responded very quickly and…read morecame to see the property. He showed me pictures of other lawns he did and we scheduled our yard to be leveled and we paid for the hydroseed. Our grass was patchy so we had to schedule them to come back in early spring 2025. I had to reach out to get the return visit scheduled. They showed up and threw down more dirt and seed, but many of the large patches were missed, again, so I had to reach out, again. They showed up and threw more straw on top of the bare patches. Jacob made it out again in June and told me he noticed weeds popping up as well as some more bare spots. We were told they were going to come back to look at it and they never did. We also had a strip of the property that from the beginning of the project was not leveled well. They continuously told me they were going to come back and address this, but they never did. At this point in time I expressed my dissatisfaction with the lawn to Jacob. I discussed the weeds and mushrooms, the bare spots, the fact that I had to follow up many times, and the strip of the yard that isn't level. Jacob told me that the "after" pictures of lawns they did that I was shown when we first met were so nice because those customers got on a routine fertilizer from the start, which he then recommended to me. I was extremely unhappy that he was telling me that almost a year after we got our yard done. We paid $11,000 to have our yard taken care of. I expected the company, as the experts, to tell me how to get the best lawn, which is what I paid them to do. Jacob said that he was sorry for how things turned out and that they will be back out to put down weed and feed. That was June 2025. He never showed up or reached back out. We have grass, yes. But we also have a strip of the yard that's very uneven. We have large rocks around the yard that are part of the yard because they were not removed when they leveled the yard and seeded. I did not appreciate how much I had to follow up and the unfinished items that were never addressed. For the money we paid and the big picture of the service we received, I would not recommend this company.
