We started the morning by telling me since I wasn't standing in the doorway when they unlocked them, I couldn't be a walk-in client after calling me on Friday and saying walk-ins were Monday through Thursday 8-11. Well, they were good enough to let me waste 50 minutes of my time before taking me to the back and telling me, on top of the money they were going to charge my insurance and the copay, there would be an additional $60 contact fitting fee. Who the heck is wearing contacts all the time, never needs to put on some frames and take a break? I have never had any other eyecare professional give me any static about writing a prescription for frames when they do a contact exam in 40-some-odd years. When asked about their ridiculous fee I was told that it was just store policy. I kindly asked for my glasses back and left. I'd rather deal with the insurance people on an out-of-network claim

My insurance company changed the providers that it would pay for my annual vision exam so I had to…read morenot go see Dr. Brown after many years. When I went to see this new eye Dr. He changed my prescription even though I wasn't having problems. I asked him not to decrease my contacts but the new Dr did. After a couple of days with the new contacts I called that Dr. He would not change them back even though I was still having nausea and dizziness, unless I came in for a visit again. I was livid. I called Dr. BROWN office and got in. He did his exam, put me back in my old contact prescription order and DIDN'T CHARGE ME as he knew I would have to pay cash because that other had already charged my insurance company and my insurance wouldn't of covered much of visit dealing him out of network. What a awesome person to do that!! Highly recommend! He listens to his patients! Go see Dr Brown!

5/6/15 Driving by Loop 286 close to Braums Ice Cream, I…read morenoticed a sign off the road advertising Hearing Aids. It was about 2 in the afternoon when I decided to do the turnaround and check them out. I had my dad with me and he is 76 years old, and very hard of hearing. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted by a lady named Hope, who was smiling from ear to ear. I always say, if you enter a business and do not make me feel welcomed..I will not refer or do business with people who feel they are doing me a favor. Well, this woman just made us feel like family had just entered this place. After being checked in, another woman comes out with an even bigger smile, Rebecca. Turns out Hope is mother of Rebecca. Rebecca is married to John who is the Hearing Specialist. The Hearing Specialist John, saw my dad and listened to his needs and what he needed. My dad had regrets going in, and walked out thanking me for taking him in. We have already been to this place for follow-ups 3 times, and we just love these people. They take their time to teach you what you need to know without hurrying your butt out the door, they are fun to talk to people. Turns out this place is a family owned business who really really care. The personality of these owner's go a long way!
