I have needed glasses for close to five years now. I lost one of my two old pairs biking and another when I stayed at a friend's house overnight. I have been getting by in blurry world, but became increasingly aware that my left eye was not functioning on par with my right during individual eye tests I recently put myself through, after having begun to feel pressure in my left eye. I had broken a contac, and did not own any glasses. I had a very difficult prescription because I had cornea transplants. I was driving with only one eye. I was given a very thorough examination and selected glasses and ordered them but because of the strange prescription it would take over a week for me to receive them. I explained my difficult situation and the manager stepped in. He suggested that they fill a trial pair as close as I could get to my prescription and let me have them as a loner. The service was amazing !!!! from the young lady in the exam room. to the two young ladies up front especially Courtney When I say she the VIP of that office, she makes you feel welcome, no matter your color. and the other lady as well. One complaint the manager stays in the back , when it's full of people of color. But as soon as someone of her race comes in. she runs out to greet them. Worst experience! From eye appointment to adjustment. Before I left for hospital stay, I went to get my 3 mo old glasses adjusted. They broke temple and said the style was sold out. Went in hospital with no glasses. I've been requesting my prescription and glasses item # to replace them myself. Had to have a friend go for me. IF they answer your call, they promise to call back and don't. For weeks. If you get someone they are rude and don't help. This has been going on for 5 MONTHS! read more

I was in need of new glasses and went to Walmart first. Then I set up an appointment at Stanton. I'm so glad I went to Stanton. I just finally got insurance and the woman that helped me was so very kind, and so very helpful. I highly recommend going there. Their prices are fair, and their selection was amazing. They repaired my glasses at no charge, even though I was not their customer and was from out of town. I offered to paid but they just insisted no charge. I've been going there for three years. I appreciate Leigh Ann & staff. They are knowledgeable, helpful & not pushy. If you have to wait, your acknowledged.
