Awwww!!!! Paul is the reason why I'm giving Staples in Delran, New Jersey a 5+ Star rating!!!!! He was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, VERY HELPFUL, FRIENDLY and, RESOURCEFUL too!!!!! NOT ONLY did I take photos but, I also brought items from Staples for Chef SUMMER and Chef RJ too!!!! NOW, I have to go somewhere to buy something for Chef RAH too! I went to Staples early this morning to purchase a tax program, was in line and watches Paul assist a customer with so much patience who thought she owed Staples 0.78 cents for taxes for something she loved and purchased online. Paul politely assisted this customer with so much grace and she way off and on her super satisfied with the help and service Paul gave her! I was SUPER IMPRESSED with the service that Paul displayed to the other customer and to myself that I returned a few hours later to take photos and write a review on this Staples! THANK YOU Paul for doing an EXCELLENT job!!! I do recommend this Staples location to my family, friends and, now the World too!!!! read more

I went there this morning at 8:30. There was nobody working at the return desk. This is the second time I tried this staples and just standing there waiting for someone to acknowledge me was ridiculous. I'll never go back. read more

So tell me how a store like Staples delran can have no personnel that can show a 73-year-old woman how to copy front to back. They told her you're kind of on your own and this is a store that is supposed to make your life easier. I guess there was no manager on site and with all the techie guys there was no one there that could figure this simple printing process out. Horrible experience with shipping something and the staff that actually helped me told me the one who was resistant to help was the manager. Okay I've used this location before and I've not had this bad of an experience. I had a "Happy Return" and when I went to submit it, the staff member waited on the person in front of me and then walked away from the counter. He went over to the other side, never acknowledged me or even said anything about going to the other register. He went over there and then helped two other customers. When I went up to the register, he walked away again and came back and asked how he could help me. He told me he couldn't help me because I didn't have ID. He told me that there was nothing UPS could do because they don't set the rules for his store. It was snowing outside, the roads were bad and I wanted to get the return off as I headed home from work and this store was on the way. He was rude and condescending and just plain awful. I have used this location many times as an educator and also my current company has a contract with Staples and I have an account with UPS and have used Staples across NJ as well as in PA. I can't remember if ever being asked for identification to send off a package. And I have never had an experience this awful. I hope this guy wasn't the actual store manager because I don't foresee this location being open much longer with someone like him running it. read more

Rude, and unhelpful. When I ask questions the printing staff always has an attitude. Every time I get something printed out here it is a bad experience. They tried to charge me extra to trim a white piece off of a paper. I just do not need to be treated badly every time I come to this store. read more

Disclaimer: This review is about the UPS shipping services in the back of this store, not about the Staples as a whole. However, since Staples list shipping services as one of their services they should definitely be associated with my review. Went to ship a simple set of documents. Process was very easy and the woman at the UPS/Shipping desk was very nice and helpful upon initial part of process. It was a pretty basic transaction: I put my docs in one of the UPS envelopes, gave it to her and she gave me the pricing options for shipping. Was simple enough and the rate to ship seemed reasonable too. The issue I have is that the process to pay was for her to give me a slip that I take to the main staples register and pay up front. Again no problem with that. Except that as I'm walking and reading it my $11 shipping cost actually says $18. This is because apparently it is $7 for "in store packaging" and a "custom envelope". Crazy and exorbitant given the fact that i just used one of their standard envelopes from the kiosk, and that I saw nothing warning me that it would be 7 bucks to use it. I could have easily gotten one of them from a number of places, including my work. So I just warn you in advance to be careful of getting hit with this fee when you can simply put your stuff in the envelope before you go in there. And don't expect anyone to be transparent about that very high and unwarranted fee. She could have at least put my stuff in the envelope for me and peeled the sticker to seal it for me so I'd feel like i was actually getting a packaging service along with my shipping :) read more

Valerie in the print/copy center is awesome! I have a small business in the area and often need to print items immediately when our printers have an issue, time is always sensitive. I was there last week and all their self service printers were very slow or completely down. I walked to the service counter, and Valerie quickly pulled up my email and assisted me in between other jobs/customers. She was very nice, fast, and I was done in minutes. Thank you Valerie and my local Staples print center for always saving me! read more

Stopped in for a new chair mat to protect my carpet. While there I usually bring up their circular on my phone to see if they have any deals. A USB 3.0 64 Gig flash drive for $15.99. Snapped it right up! I also was looking for a Microsoft Bluetooth Mouse on sale for $24.99. They had none in the store but after my purchase they ship direct to your house no charge. My reason for Bluetooth was because of the recent findings of hackable USB wireless mice called "MouseJack". Although Staples is known for office supplies I have found myself buying computer hardware numerous times always due to the good deals they have. Throw in a digital coupon for more savings and it's really hard to beat. That's why I find myself returning here now and again. My review is for the Delran, NJ store. read more
