I haven't needed office supplies for years so this review is about a service and not shopping. Recently I've had a couple of electronic items to get rid of. One one trip it was a Wi-Fi router and on another trip it was a very heavy little copier. There is no hassle. You take the items into the front of the store and drop them in a gaylord (pallet box). There are also cartons for empty ink cartridges. On my second trip I had a very heavy copier. I went in and asked if they had a two-wheeler I could borrow and without hesitation, the employee said no but use our cart and I'll come help. When we got to the car he did ALL the lifting. Great guy! There's no charge and the only other place to take electronics for recycling is Best Buy which I find less friendly and less convenient. So -- 5 stars for Staples in Wilton! read more

If I could do a negative rating I would. every employee is down right rude and aloof (they're being paid to work if I'm correct?) who is forcing them to be there. they act like you are interrupting their personal time. Believe me, your customers don't want to engage with you either!!! Bailee at the UPS counter or printing, is hands down the most combative and disrespectful cashier I have EVER dealt with. she is absolutely horrendous- I have never left a store this pissed off. she actually enjoys fighting with customers telling you to 'chill -bc what your annoyed about about isn't a big deal...' this is the exact verbiage used from a cashier. and calm down, they're closing in 30 mins so it's acceptable to ignore customers and carry on with personal conversations. perfect way to rev up a fight. then puffed her chest and continued to shout which made me more irate thru the store as I left. staples you should be disgusted with the level of customer service you are giving and hiring. I went to Staples today to ship some thing and Scott printed my label without the apartment on it. There was a label clearly on the box with the address clearly written out for him. He thought it was a good idea to simply write the apartment number with a pen, not redo the label with the barcode. The supervisor Bob overheard me and had Sally Redo the label. I have no idea why this took 20 minutes. then I was told to wait in another line to pay for it and was sitting there for another 10 to 15 minutes while Bob and Sally were talking about a customer on the phone. I rarely have a need for printing, but needed some documents printed at Staples. I submitted the order early this afternoon. The website states the time it wouldn't be ready until 7pm. I needed it before then so had a plan in place for what to do if my order wasn't ready. I put the order in at 12:33pm. It was ready for pickup at 12:40 Talk about fast service! I visited the store to pick up my items. I was greeted by Amy. She was working diligently to serve the customers. She hadn't had lunch, but she put the needs of her consumers first. As an aside, I inadvertently made an error when I submitted the forms I needed printed. I forget to attach the back of the image. Right then and there, I emailed the form to Amy and she took care of immediately. She worked to make it right. I really appreciated the attention to detail and the care she took to spend the time I needed. And the prints came out exactly the way I expected them. Thank you, Staples and Amy for renewing my faith in exceptional customer service. I recommend the location if you ever need anything printed. read more

After a less-than-satisfying experience at the Staples down in Clifton Park, I visited this former Office Depot location in Saratoga Springs in the hopes of printing copies of a presentation and having it bound for delivery. Thankfully, this location has a Staples Print & Copy center located inside the store, and they were able to assist me with my project. You'll find this Staples along Rte. 50, near the Wilton Mall, and in the same shopping center as Home Depot and Target. It's not the biggest office supply store that I've ever seen, but they seemed to have their shelves stocked, and the sales staff was very friendly and helpful. As anticipated, it was no big deal to print 5 color copies of a ten-page presentation, and then bind it up. The Print & Copy associate wrote up my order, and said that he could have it ready in about an hour. That gave me plenty of time to roam through the store and pick up the remaining office supply items on my shopping list. I received a text message on my cellphone when the job was ready, and was on my way with a minimum of fuss. I've always been successful locating what I needed inside this particular Staples, and I really appreciate the helpfulness of their staff. read more

Happy Returns outlet for Bry Lane. Staples 12866 says we box and ship w/ QR or bar code only necessary. Incompetent management and staff.I was deterred from returning a Bry Lane order because "we don't box ( items for return) here". This goes against Happy Returns's policy, and Wilton Staples is listed as the #1 Spot for Happy returns mailings. An associate was adamant in the past about selling me new CO2 Sodastream tanks for one cent- the empty tank exchange rate, all without charging me the other $14 for the full tanks Any business I have had w/ this Staples over the past few years will now be of benefit for other responsible and honest businesses. I recommend you do the same.Keep Staples off your list.You'll be glad you did. read more

This Staples isn't nearly as large as the one at which I'm used to shopping closer to home - it has a smaller services section in the front, and a smaller office furniture section in the back. But you know what? I still found everything for which I was searching, and all the items I wanted today were on sale too. The staff is friendly and helpful too. I think this is the point where I'm supposed to hit that big red button. I know Staples wants me to hit their "Easy!" button... I think I'll just click on the red "Post" button on this Yelp page instead. read more

Has helped me with many rush orders over the past few months and always is communicative, timely with printing (even early!) and has literally RAN through the store with one of my shipments to grab the UPS truck driver that was headed out. Wife and I both bought computers here many years ago - wife's was a laptop, while mine was a desktop. In both instances, we relied on the Staples tech team to set up the computer, and in my case, the tech actually delivered the computer and set it up in my home office. Yes, there is a charge for that service, but having had to do my own setup on computers purchased on-line, I knew what kind of hassle setup could be and felt that the charge was justifiable in terms of managing my blood pressure! And over the years, we have taken wife's laptop back several times for a 'tune up'. Well, wife's 'puter was getting a bit creaky - the touch pad no longer worked, and one of the hinges was broken - so we were in the market for a replacement. Because of COVID19, I was initially inclined to take the on-line approach, but at the last minute we decided to give Staples a chance. Julie was super! She helped us select the computer, and when she found that they didn't have the model we chose in stock, she arranged to get one from another store. That was on Saturday - by Monday, they had the computer and started getting it configured. She called on Tuesday to report that everything was done except that they had not been able to port Microsoft Office over from her old machine, and suggested OpenOffice (freeware) as an alternate solution. We were then able to pick it up on Wednesday morning. The only thing that they could not do is set up the wireless printer - to do that, the computer had to be within range of the wireless router in our home. But I was able to take care of that detail in about 20 minutes. Overall, our experience in purchasing computers from Staples has been outstanding, and their Tech Support team has been extremely helpful over the years. read more

I recently went to Staples copy center to laminate a paper my wife has been asking for. I had errands to run so I added this to my list. I walked in waited for 2 people ahead of me and handed the paper to the person behind the counter. The only thing I was asked was, (are you a rewards member). I said no and he handed me the receipt with the charges. I noticed a $.60 charge with an additional $.04 of tax. This charge is called an EXPRESS GUARANTEE CHARGE. At no point did I say I need this right away. I simply stood in line till it was my turn. BE AWARE OF THIS CHARGE, IT INCREASES AS CHARGES GO UP. Mine was 30% of the cost. $.60 is not alot but what if you spend $100.00. No one tells you this and there is no sign. I spoke to a manager and told him this seems like a scam. He told me it is not a scam but an industry standard. I was given my $.60 and left. read more
