The manager also recommended a chap with a recovery van who could take us across town to his garage for a very competitive fee (we couldn't even bump start the car as the battery had nothing at all). The service was brilliant, very friendly and helpful, and the price was incredibly competitive (far cheaper than we feared we'd need to pay). Thanks for saving us Champion!!

When asked what is the point of appointment then ? the manager said "I don't have time for this" and walked away. Don't bother with these people! Look elsewhere.

It's far cheaper than you'd expect for a main dealer garage, servicing is always outstanding, and I've never yet been fobbed off about something. I know I sound like I should be getting commission, but they really are good. The last time I went my customer service adviser (I think that's their title) removed most of the costly items from the bill as either not needing doing, or had the price worked into the rest of the bill. I'm sure it's standard, but it feels nice. Courtesy cars are also amazing, though do make you want to go shopping. I love my car as people who know me will have realised, and I honestly wouldn't take it anywhere else.

Got another mechanic to look at the repair work. I was told that the part fitted was not recommended for my car, and the CV joint gaiters needed replacing asap.
