Stopped in yesterday around 4:30ish and was immediately sat with Missy. First let me say that she absolutely radiates joy! I don't think I've ever laughed so much during a nail appointment . I showed her a picture and told her she could put her own spin on it and she DELIVERED! The way that she pays attention to every small detail that is sometimes overlooked was really wonderful. She asked my name and spoke to me and treated me like I was one of her forever clients and that meant a lot to me. She went above and beyond for me and she's extremely talented . I'd give 100 stars if I could! The total was 86.00 She also did my eyebrows for me (which were 15$ and included in 86.00 $ total ) and they are literally so good! Thank you Missy! I originally gave this place a 5 star review in 2017 as it was always my fav salon. However the previous 3 occasions looked very similar to this one so I reviewed. 2/2020 have literally been sitting here waiting in the nail tech Gi Gi's chair for 30 mins. She had me to sit in her chair then completely left the salon. Never even said she had to make a run or anything or even asked if I had time to wait. I asked the owner did she leave the shop to which he said she will be back in 5 minutes. Here we are 20 minutes later and still she has not returned nor have I even been offered another nail tech. This was my favorite salon but this is unacceptable. I'm very angry. The only reason I have not left is I am in a wedding in 2 days and have no other time I could get them done but now. UPDATE 3/17/20: so I decided to come back her for a pedicure and brought my 11 yr old to get a manicure. I was confronted by GiGi about my google review. She was so angry she was yelling about how she had to pick up her son. I tried explaining to her that simply communicating she had to leave that day would have been good but she did not apologize instead she decided to argue she was right in front of a shop full of customers. Unprofessional and rude. She refused me service due to my very honest review. Never was a discount offered or even a simple apology now I come back and am verbally attacked about my honest review. I'm still new to the area so I was desperate to find an affordable nail shop that wasn't trashy. Nails is such a gem! Went FIRST thing Saturday morning as soon as they opened and I'm SO glad I did. If I would have gotten there 5 minutes later I would have had to wait at least 30 minutes for a nail tech to become available. I went in with a vision of what I wanted for my nails and besides having to go a few shades off from the green color I wanted, they nailed it (pun intended LOL). They were fast but courteous and professional. They checked in with me throughout the entire process of getting my full set to make sure I was satisfied with the progress. It took about an hour for the total process and I sat under the dryer/light for 10 extra minutes to make sure my nails were completely dry because I have a tendency to leave too early and then mess up my nails. They are walk-in only (unless you schedule something well in advance for a special event or something). I'm very happy with my nails and I will definitely be back. read more

Horrible service. Was told a hour for a full set for me and my daughter and my eyebrows. Wait 2 hours watched 4 people come in after me without appointments and get taken care of. Had my daughter sit in a chair for over a hour and a half before the owner guy said he can't do us he's hungry. His wife said no don't worry I will do you. I have been a loyal customer for some time now... But today will most definitely be my last time here. I never walk in thinking that I'll be serviced as soon as I walk in. But I also don't expect to be left in the pedi bowl for over an hour before being serviced. My feet were beyond wrinkle by the time I got serviced. After getting my pedi. Romeo sat me at table three. Only to take a customer that walked in hours after me. When I spoke up Romeo says " you know her. She only has to get three nails fixed" and left me to wait. I walked in at 10:45 am and at 1:18pm people that came in after me were serviced FIRST. I will NEVER patronize this establishment again. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.... I LOVE GiGi... Worst experience I have had at a nail salon. Not only was the guy rude and openly mocking myself and other people getting their nails done; but my nails are all uneven lengths. It took two hours for them to finish my nails due to the fact they were bouncing between clients. I would not recommend this place to anyone. My fiancee went for an 11 a.m. appointment and waited over an hour and half and never got her nails done, she ended up leaving. She said other people walked in after her and were out the door quickly while she just sat there. She's not one to argue so I went later in the day to discuss calmly with owner. Man at the door denied that she was even there earlier and then little Asian lady approached me and lied, saying she waited was only 25 minutes. Patron started swearing at me so I left. I will take fiancee to file discrimination complaint with City of Hobart later in the week, since little Asian woman was not interested in making it right, and escalated a situation which could have been easily resolved. If I could give a 0 I would. I received the worst customer service here today. Disrespect, and just rude. I always come here and do my pedicures for my daughters and myself. Today I got a fill in by Gigi and the flower stickers I wanted weren't sticking so I asked her to draw some. Then I asked her for a diamond design and I didn't like how it was coming out so I told her and she told me she didn't have time and to do it myself. I'm paying you for a service so you should do whatever your customer asks. I was being nice and even told her I'd pay for the diamonds to just take them off. I get my pedicure and I told the man I didn't want the color anymore because it didn't look like it did on their nail collage. He ignored me and kept going until Romeo came and even Romeo talked over me. Completely rude and disrespectful. I'm a business owner and the way they treated their employees and customers today was ridiculous. If I talked and treated my customers the same way they do I wouldn't be in business. My nails turned out nice but I called at 6:15pm and asked how long the wait was for 3 full sets and he said 5 minutes when we got here at 6:20 we didn't even get in the chairs until 6:45. The guys did my nails in a good amount of time. The girl who did my sisters nails took an hour and 10 minutes just to put the nails and acrylic on. She wasn't done until 8pm. She also got a basic full set with polish. Another thing was the boss and employee were arguing because the other employee took two hours on one basic full set. This was my first and last time here it wasn't professional and nail techs take waaaayyy too long. read more
