He, his wife and children (toddlers at the time) were such wonderful people. No Chinese place in America (that I've had) can compare to Rising Star. So many times I have wished to travel back to the UK just for my favorite meal "Spiced Smoked Chicken". We often buy the kids lunch on the way back from shopping at the weekend, and the staff are friendly, quick and rarely make mistakes. They even helped us get a better deal (and thus spent LESS money) at the drive through once. They have the usual breakfast menu and burger menu, and do all the specials. The restaurant is air conditioned with plenty of free parking. The service is fast and the food is hot and freshly cooked. The toilets are clean and there are excellent baby changing facilities that are not in the womens toilet, making life easier for the harassed Dad and there is also wi-fi access available. The drive-through was also fast and efficient on the one occasion that I have used it.

When we asked what was good we were told just the plain burger. They seemed very disinterested in having us inside waiting. Like we were disturbing them from checking their YouTube videos. There were some chips on the floor and the place could have done with a wipe down. If it was my business and my staff were this lack luster they would be seeking new employment . Burger was soggy from so much sauce. I probably should have taken the advise and got a plain burger. On the plus side the burger and bun were well cooked. It was better than a Macdonald's burger but can't say I would come back when there are so many options in Cambridge.
