Located right opposite the swimming baths and gym, I always end up having a brew before a gym session. Being this side of Harborne, works to Boo Boo's advantage as you don't have to take a walk down the High Street which can seem like a mammoth task on a Sunday morning! Every time I have been in, it has been very busy. With a couple of outside tables and a massive window, it's great when the sun is shining on us. The Coffee is most excellent because they use Allpress espresso beans from London which gives their drinks a massive edge over most places some places in Birmingham. Single origin is offered though a Chemex, another brew method not often seen in the second city. If Coffee and Tea isn't your bag then I can recommend one of the many smothies they offer, which can have protein added to them. Boo Boo coffee is very family friendly and you can pop your little ones in the play area they provide. This place has been come a favourite place of mine to have some alone time or catch up with friends. Sure you will love it!

I couldn't see anywhere advertising the sort of beans or specifics used. The coffee does stand shoulder to shoulder with some of the best in Birmingham though. The store also serves typical brunch which is available all day long. If your looking for a quick coffee or some brunch in harborne I would highly recommend it here!

I thought it was a pretty standard sized café; lots of places to sit, including outside the front on nice days. The menu is fairly simplistic and has a range of drinks, sandwiches and breakfast meals. I just ordered a large cup of tea and a chocolate bar and sat down. I thought that the prices were really cheap. The staff were fairly pleasant, but did not seem to have time for any chit chat, as they were busy tidying and preparing things behind the counter. I think it's pretty difficult to get personality into spaces with a wide open front that open onto a mall or walk way but it can be done as wit places like Bills in the Bullring. The designs on the walls and in the cafe feel a little bit canteen here for me and the space feels a little bit cold overall. I had a pretty good chai latte but it was not the hottest it could have been which again just slightly let it down for me. The place was quite busy when I went in which could explain them rushing the drinks but I have only been once so have to judge it on the experience I had that day.Paying over £3.00 for a lukewarm drink is just not ideal. The coffee here is good, creamy, but very sharp. I've asked them to make sure their decaf supplies are kept high (they ran out, apparently there was a sea of rabid Yelpers draining their supplies yesterday). 8oz is a little small, the large measures are well worth the premium price tag. I'm in Millennium Point almost every day so if there's more, I'll update again...

Unlike the standard interior of the traditional greasy spoon - wipe clean tables, a two-day old copy of the Daily Star - this place has gone for a smart and modern approach, with leather seating and clean, white walls giving the place an airy feel. It does a really good cup of coffee and also has WiFi, which, for Strichley, is a major step forward, and not something you're likely to find in a more traditional cafe. The food is also a bit more upmarket (not that there's anything wrong with a bacon sandwich, or a fry up) and there are some interesting combinations on offer. Well worth a visit.

Starbucks Nuneaton is my closest Starbucks but in reality and unfortunately it consistently delivers a poor quality, inefficient and frustrating customer experience time and again (in fact I would say it has happened every time I have used the drive-thru!) Here's why: 1) They always seem to never have your complete first choice when using the Drive-thru and when you find out they don't have your first choice you are stuck in the drive thru lane without any way of leaving: because of this you end up compromising and still purchasing another drink/product (which wasn't your first choice) but even then they never seem to get the drink right! 2) We love Toffee Nut Latte - a fav traditional Starbucks Xmas drink out every year. Why is it on the very few occasions that I have suddenly been tempted to use Nuneaton Starbucks Drive-thru (always against my better judgement as each time I have a bad experience @ Nuneaton I promise myself never to go back but relent when time is an issue and I just don't have the time to go to my Fav Starbucks @ Coventry, or Corley). They seem to never get Toffee Nut Lattes right? Why is it so hard?? Is it down to poor training of staff? Poor standards or poor motivation? Why can't they get it right? Why do I have to ask for cream and spinkles each time only for them to never put it on? Each time I have to hand the drinks back and ask them to do it properly and put the cream and spinkles on? I have even had reassurances from 2 staff on different occasions that they would ensure it is made properly, only for them to have not done it???!!!! Why can't they get it right? I had to do it today and in actual fact they gave a Hazelnut Latte!! Poor Service; Poor Quality; Poor experience. 3) For some bizzare reason Nuneaton Starbucks don't get that the cream and sprinkles on a Toffee Nut Latte are standard (clue: take a look at the pictures of the Toffee Nut Latte and other Xmas Drinks that Starbucks Head Office send out every year and are actually advertised all over your premises everywhere! It's a standard so using logic customers should request if they don't want the cream and sprinkles (or made the way they like) and you should not expect the customers to have to ask for the cream and sprinkles AS IT IS STANDARD. As a customer - we have to pay extra for the Xmas drinks - why can't Nuneaton Starbucks get it right?? 4) The drive thru isn't efficient. You can mislead yourself into thinking that because it is Starbucks - you will get a quality experience unfortunately @ Nuneaton just don't live up to or deliver the brand and customer expectations. You wait a long time in the drive-thru; can't get out of the drive-thru is they don't have want you want or your change your mind; you get a poor quality product and experience but are paying for relatively expensive coffee. I say realively because ironically the McDonalds drive-thru @ Bermuda that is close but delivers a far more efficient and better customer experience for half the price!!!!!!!!! Maybe the staff training is poor @ Nuneaton Starbucks or maybe its poor management and supervision but they just don't seem to be able to get it right. On the plus side the staff seem friendly but on the whole they are all letting themselves down: I doubt this business will survive or flourish to better business until they can sort out their problems with training: please deliver what you promise and what we pay for. Please don't try to deceive us with a poor product or the wrong product just because we use the drive-thru and are usually miles away from you when we realize you have given us a poor product and overall poor experience. I hope Nuneaton Starbucks see this feedback; use this feedback, dust themselves down and seek to improve so that if I stupidly decide to relent a use the Nuneaton Starbucks Drive-thru again: they may actually get it right and give me my first choice of product; made to standard/good quality and a good overall experience. Until then - I'll choose to use the Starbucks Drive-thru @ Coventry Showcase or Corley Services who are excellent and go above and beyond to get it right. Anyone who is giving Nuneaton Starbucks excellent reviews and high stars are either people who have never experienced other good quality starbucks; don't know what high standards are or are related to the staff @ Nuneaton Starbucks in some way so give false reviews. Nuneaton Starbucks: Overall Poor. Poor Standards; Poor Quality; Poor Efficiency; High Cost; Poor Customer Service. Unless they can drastically improve their standards you can get a much better experience at the McDonalds close by or go to another Starbucks. Sorry Starbucks Nuneaton: you need to improve massively.

I've only ever popped in here a couple of times for a coffee on the go, and with a sign out front declaring 'proper coffee' available it gives you hope for a good brew. Sadly I was left disappointed. I'm not sure if the guy who served me is normally the cook or whether they were shorthanded but my Vanilla Latte was just meh. I can honestly say i don't think i've ever been asked how much vanilla before and do I also want sugar. Having said this the coffee itself was tasty, it was just the vanilla part of the latte that was a fail. Although i haven't eaten here they seem to do a good range for veggies and the food is generally cheap to eat here. Whilst they do have places to sit outside as well as inside, it's small size and busy lunch queues does make it feel too crushed for a relaxing bite to eat. Worth trying if you need something on the go but unless you are passing through or work over the St. Paul's, Jewellery Quarter area it's a bit out of the way to make a point in visiting.

The only downfall of this place is that the salad box comes to around £4.70 which is too expensive for me to go here everyday. It's a nice treat though!
