The menu is extensive and is made up of various baked goods designed in the UK, France, and Italy (and maybe more). Megan had a chicken salad sandwich that had bacon, some fruit, and was on focaccia. Megan enjoyed it a lot. I had some butternut squash soup and a steak pie. Both were mighty tasty. I had a good laugh when the owner said to be sure to use all the gravy. LOL you dont know me, I will take two gravies! We had a few baked goods to go including a pasty, croissant, and a bear claw. These were good but as with all freshly made baked goods you need to eat soon, don't let it linger! Oh yeah, looking at my photos the reason that we went to FWS in the first place was to pick up some baguettes to make banh mi sandwiches, and those were great.

I dropped in the next morning and was greeted by the owner. His smile and friendly demeanor are a welcome treat. He told me about the selections, how to best enjoy them and which he suggested. I left with more than I planned, but it all looked so good, smelled so good and he was so passionate about his craft that I just wanted to try them all. The chocolate croissant is still my favorite, but the blueberry scone is a close second.

Service was outstanding, Stacey Ann was our server and she had a wonderful attitude and very courteous. It was a pleasure talking to her during our meal. Watched her and she knew all of her regulars and had the order in before they could grab the menu. That is outstanding service at is best. She makes it a joy to come in and stop by for even a cup of coffee. Restaurant was not that bust and looked to be very clean wonderful atmosphere and relaxed. Also spoke to another waitress whose Daughter was in the Marines and had enjoyable time talking about her daughter's service to our country. You need to stop her if you are on Cornelia or just passing thru well with the stop. Give our best to the girls.

Unfortunately the manager on duty, Zoie was the opposite. Not only was she calling out the two employees out for having a "messy area" infront of the customers, but me and my best friend witnessed her hitting her vape several times. She was so busy to complain about the two people on duty that night about how "messy" they leave their areas, but forgot to remind herself to put bacon and cheese on my bacon cheeseburger. It gets worse, as we were leaving, Zoie looks at me and my best friend and asks us if we pay rent, and proceeded to ask us if $300 was pocket change. I don't appreciate her treating her coworkers like shit, and I damn sure don't appreciate her prying into our personal life and asking me about my finances. Zoie doesn't need to be in charge of anyone but herself.

A GREAT TEAM APPROACH TO SERVING CUSTOMERS!…read more If you had asked me if I would ever eat at a Huddle House again, I would respond with a resounding NO!!!! I attempted to eat breakfast at a different location approximately 10 years ago and it was a big greasy mess and I never even thought about a return. Also, Huddle House restaurants are rarely seen in the area in which I live. Today as I traveled to northern Georgia, the only breakfast restaurant that would pop up in Yelp is Huddle House. We attempted to find a local, family owned option but there were no options in this small town. We were okay with trying this Huddle House because I had thoroughly read the positive reviews and felt fine with this choice. We walked in to a warm and casual environment. It reminded me of a Waffle House but more spacious and real cheese. I ordered the veggie omelet, while my husband ordered the western omelet. Here the omelets are proper omelets, light and fluffy. perfectly yellow, (no brown anywhere) presented with a your choice of grits or hash browns and toast. We chose the hash browns and were satisfied with both of our meals, (although my original browns were not as crispy as I like, they were quickly exchanged to my satisfaction). This was a breakfast that actually stayed with us for five hours. I love a substantial breakfast on the weekends because I am usually very busy running around and can't always stop to eat on schedule. Customer service was great today because the entire staff "showed up". The entire team attended to all customers, offering assistance, refills, and whatever was needed. This is a great way of meeting the needs of the customers because you don't have to wait for service and you don't have to try and "hunt down" your particular waiter or waitress. This was a great experience and I would definitely recommend this Huddle House for a great breakfast.
