This Starbucks location is my go-to coffee stop in the mornings! I'm here almost daily during the week, placing a mobile order for that much-needed morning pick-me-up. Because it's located inside Jungle Jim's, it can get very busy--especially later in the day--but it's set up really conveniently with its own entrance and a service window inside the store. It's truly a "two-in-one" setup, which makes grabbing your drink super easy whether you're shopping or just stopping by. The best part? The staff is always incredibly friendly. No matter how busy it gets, I've never had a bad experience here. They always have kind words, and I genuinely appreciate the little notes they write on my cup--things like "Have a great day" or "Thank you :) ." I am writing to share my disappointment with the service I received today. I ordered a drink and waited a long time without any update. When I asked about my order, the staff told me that the machine was stuck and only then started making my drink. Although one of the staff members apologized, I felt frustrated that no one informed me earlier about the delay. I don't drink coffee but I come to this location every couple of months for tea and the folks working here are quite pleasant. It's a Starbucks, so if you don't like Starbucks, you aren't going to like it. It, however, does have the huge advantage of being attached to Jungle Jim's. You can drink your beverages in the cafe side or in the store. Or outside. I've always found it a little strange that there isn't a door to walk straight through but the designers never asked me what I thought. Pastries are available. It looks like sandwiches are now, too. Nothing looks particularly vegan friendly. But, heck, you're next to Jungle Jim's. Just go shopping. read more

Out of town Starbucks for the win! Took the family to King's Island for the weekend, and stayed in a less than stellar hotel near the park. The free shuttle service to and from the park almost made up for the fact that our toilet wouldn't flush on Sunday morning. Almost. Promised the kids that once we checked out, we'd find a Starbucks and make it up to them. I had no fewer than four Starbucks gift cards in my wallet with varying amounts of money left on them. Man the service was outright horrible tonight. I stopped to buy whole bean coffee for the week before I went grocery shopping at Jungle Jim's. There were 3 employees there along with 2 young customers. The male employee was having a conversation with the customers about American Veterans. They were literally screaming that if your tell a Veteran "thanks for your service" they will tip you more money. I wasn't too happy about the loud disrespectful conversation happening while trying to buy my coffee. The young blonde women with glasses behind the counter gave me a bit of attitude while doing so. (You can also access this Starbucks from outside as well)This location was pretty busy and had a few people in line (inside the store) when I was waiting to order - and two people still asked if I had been helped or needed anything. Pretty standard Starbucks. It is small and has one large table and 3 smaller ones. It is ajoined to Jungle Jim's but there is not a door to move between stores. A glass wall separates the two so you do get a nice look into the wine section of Jungle Jim's where every you sit. It was a little disappointing that we had to walk back outside to get to the larger portion of the Starbucks. If you are inside of Jungle Jim's you can order through a window to enjoy your drink while you grocery shop. There is a bathroom inside the Starbucks but it was currently out of service. The service was quick, and knowledgable. I would recommend going to this Starbucks for a quick drink, but don't think I would go to this Starbucks for studying or a sustained activity. read more

Next, stop on the Starbucks tour..... You may not know this, but I can't be in the vicinity of a Starbucks without stopping in. I love them so. What I love most about Starbucks in general, is how the baristas always seem like they are having a great time. You almost never see the stress of the line, waiting guests, and endless milk steaming in their attitudes toward their guests. This location is particularly convenient to Jungle Jims' customers because there is a cashier window open into the Jungles Jims market as well as a store open and accessible to the street. They are open until 9:30, which is great for guests and their coffee is to the uniform standard I have come to expect from Starbucks. read more

Ok, so granted.. I am not much of a coffee drinker so this may not be the most fair review ever, BUT with that being said, I'm not rating the product itself. I'm rating the experience I had here. I am a caffeine junky and tend to stick to Rockstar Energy drink more often than not. After this trip I may have to stick to that regimen. The drink itself was fine, nothing amazing but ok and kept me awake, which was the desired result. But it took me at least 15+ minutes to actually get said drink. I have the patience of a saint, (I've shot children's photography if that says anything..) I watched person after person who had ordered after me walk up and grab their drinks.. And I stood by and waited, and waited, and waited some more for my drink. I don't have a clue what it was, or what Venti means so I'm also not coffee cultured obviously, but after standing there and finally returning to the counter to see about the whereabouts of my sweet concoction, I felt like someone kicked my puppy, and that's not a good thing. The kid behind the counter looked at me and said, "Oh, you haven't gotten your drink yet.." He was the one making the drinks.. I shook my head from side to side with a pout. He responded, "Oh crap, I must have given it away to someone else." I don't know about coffee, but I do know that what I ordered wasn't common, so someone was in for a surprise. If I drink coffee it has to be beyond recognition so it tricks my brain into thinking it's actually liquid sugar. Now, granted.. they got busy all at once and the poor kid was probably overwhelmed. I get it, but he didn't even apologize! I ordered a piece of blueberry something or other and it was not good either. I actually threw it away. I DON'T"T THROW AWAY SWEETS!!! UGH. If you need a quick coffee fix, find another location or another chain all together. This location needs to be renamed to Starsucks. read more

This Starbucks is located inside the Jungle Jim's in Fairfield. It's a clean facility and the service is super quick and the staff friendly. They have a more limited menu but I'm sure you can ask them to make anything you get normally since my friends both did that. They have some small tables and large so not limited in space. Good location to grab a drink before or after you decide to go shopping. read more

I go to many Starbucks in many different locations in the tri-state area. This location I was surprised at the brevity and my iced drink was very watery. This was my least favorite location. Normally Starbucks gets a 4 star rating from me - so disappointed. read more

Terrible Customer Service Can not make a simple espresso to save their lives! I ordered a HOT espresso & emphasized I wanted it hot. The "so called" barista gave me a warm espresso & when I said it was cold she said "I don't know what to tell you"... What a little SNOT! She did not offer to remake it or heat it up in any way. She offered NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL! I asked for the manager & she said "she is not here" & just walked away... I love Jungle Jim's but Starbucks is losing their touch by hiring these "do nothing, spoiled little brats"... Good call on this one Starbucks! read more

I confess I'm not a fan of Starbucks, but if you are do yourself a favor and avoid this location. The 2 counters, one inside Jungle Jim's, the other inside the store, just add to the chaos. It's slow, and slower. The people who work at this location seem as confused about the setup as the customers waiting on drinks. If you do have to go here use the counter inside the store, at least it's kept clean, unlike the one inside Jungle Jim's, which can get pretty nasty, especially on weekends. read more

I stop at this Starbucks just about every morning on my way to work. The baristas are very friendly, and they get the drinks out fast even when they're busy. I've had a lot of bad Starbucks experiences (like mochas that just taste like burnt milk), but every drink I've gotten at this location has been great. The only inconvenient thing about it is the second counter inside Jungle Jim's. It's usually not an issue in the mornings, but during the day it slows things down significantly. read more

Poor customer service! Barrista made drink wrong then didn't want to correct it. Avoid this Starbucks.

Poor experience and won't be going back. Horrible customer service. Very loud music to the point you could not have a conversation. One staffer was cleaning the floors and dragging every chair and table around the tile floor making horrible screeching sounds, to the point that everyone just left in disgust. It had to be intentional; anyone else would have been quiet and picked up the chairs. Staff was clueless that their job is also to provide a comfortable place to enjoy your coffee. My guess is they have an absentee manager. Avoid. read more
