I love Starbucks coffee - but after being personally victimized by this awful location, I will go out of my way or somewhere else entirely before I return. Today is the 3rd time in less than a year that I have pulled through the drive thru only to be refused service. Today, there was some sort of issue with the water and why that prevents a cake pop coming through a drive through window is beyond me. So to the super awesome lady who heard my screaming, crying two year old and insisted there just was "no way" I could be served through the window but I could absolutely come inside - I hope you step on a Lego. Again - today is just one of the MANY terrible experiences I've had. Do yourself a favor and just got to West Columbia or Target unless you enjoy being disappointed by rude hipsters. read more

this location seems to be a little slower than some of the other locations, but it gets the job done. I have stopped by a few times to grab a white mocha on my way to meetings or a training. I just know to plan for a few extra minutes on my travel time. The staff is usually pretty friendly and my order has been right each time. All online browsers have this location as being open until 1000. When you get to the drive through, they let you sit there while no one comes on the intercom to say anything. Then when you pull up to the window after sitting there for five minutes they have a sign that says they close at 930. It's late at night I have a car full of children with an hour to go an needed so Etching you're get me through that hour. If your going to change your hours ensure that it gets communicated to all browsers. read more

11/2/2023 went to this Starbucks-Saluda Pointe in Lexington- around 8:30am and ordered 5 drinks. so I knew it would be awhile, not an hour long but awhile. Yes, I did end up waiting an hour but I'm not here to complain. I'm here to compliment all the workers that worked at this location this morning. There were what seemed like 30 people in the lobby, the drive thru wrapped around the building and ample amount of mobile orders being pushed through. I watched these workers stay positive through this rush of orders (I'm guessing at minimum 100 orders within that hour). I saw them all busting a** doing whatever they needed to do to appease everyone as much as possible. Just here to say great, hard work y'all! I know there were some aggravated customers but don't hold your heads. Y'all rocked this morning and I could tell you all were going as fast as you could doing as best as you can! I was so pumped that there was gonna be a new Starbucks that I can hit up on my way out of town, but this was so disappointing. Waited for freaking ever in the drive through. I've done drive through before, and I know it's possible to knock it out fast, so the hold up was problematic for me. When I got my drink, it was horrible. I am also a barista, and my drink was bitter and not made with the right milk. My companion's drink was ok, but when I'm off the clock and paying for my drink, I want it made just as well as I would make my own. I shouldn't have to tell a partner that I am one as well in order to receive a well made drink. Such a bummer. read more

I've had good experiences here. I'll admit, I'm a bit of a Starbucks snob because I worked there for three years. I expect consistency and some sense of urgency, while also maintaining a kind smile and professionalism. It isn't difficult, but it does seem to be rare. I appreciate that a barista was actually maintaining the front (wiping tables, tidying the creamers and sugars), and my drink was handed to me with a smile. Service was just ok. Seems to be under staffed when the drive thru associate has to also take orders up front. My latte was really good so there is potential! Later in the day the cafe gets a little messy...understandable but should be fixed as it is not acceptable. I will definitely go back but I would hope to see improvements. At this point, I've checked into almost every Starbucks in GA, SC & NC and what brings me joy is the fact that they're all unique in the own little way. They have a similar feel and of course the branding is consistent, but it's those smiling faces and personalities that get me every time. I enjoyed this particular location for the abundance of seating inside and out. I chose to sit outside and each table had an umbrella and those that didn't were under a covered area. Plenty of electrical outlets were available. More importantly I saw someone come out and empty the trash can as soon as it got full. This rarely happens at most locations I visit. It's usually a struggle to stuff your used cup into a can without getting someone else's coffee remnant on ya. The coffee is always good. I'll never complain mainly because if I don't like my drink they'll re-make it. I was impressed with this location. Will visit again. read more

I usually go to the one on garners ferry but since I was on this side of town I decided to go to this one for just a coffee and something to eat. I was the only one in line so it wasn't even busy. When I first walked in I was looking at the food and then the guy Dan comes up to me and just asked me "do you know what you want". Didn't receive a hi or hello. Every Starbucks I've been to, they all at least say hi and acknowledge you're there. When my food is finally done, he kind of just slung my food at me on the counter. That really set me off and I just walked out pissed because I'm not the one to cause a scene in front of others. This was the worst customer service in Starbucks I've ever seen. Idk what his problem was but if he doesn't like his job or something, no one is forcing him to work there. read more
