I work across the street from this starbucks, so it's inevitable that I come here every once in a while. It's a fairly generic starbucks on the campus of ABC hospital. The inside is tiny but outdoor seating exists, right in the middle of the ABC driveway. A little weird, but still a nice option.
So, I go here maybe twice a month, but I can't remember the last time they got my drink right. This morning I ordered a hazelnut latte, and they made it with almond syrup. This happens a lot. (They need to figure out a way to mark the cups that distinguishes between the A in avellana and the A in almendra). Sometimes they give me the wrong milk. No matter what, when I ask about the drink to see if it is indeed what I ordered, they tell me I did order almond syrup (or skim milk, or whatever the mistake may be). This bums me out. I know what I ordered! They haven't gotten the memo that the customer is always right, and I typically leave frustrated, a bit insulted, and with a drink I didn't order.
So, I'll go back because it's near ASF. But I'll be watching them very carefully as they make my drink! read more
