This one is paneled in darkwood and has a dark wood floor which along with the wagon wheels hanging from the ceiling gives it sort of an old West style vibe which I think is really cool. This place is very roomy and has a lot of seating. There are also book shelves stocked with was must be 200 books or more. It has the same great food as the Rio Rico location. The only negative is the parking situation, which is a bit challenging. There is metered parking a block or so away, or if you're willing to walk further you can find parking on the street that's not metered. Overall I liked it and look forward to coming back.

Then I said "oh wow sweet!" all excited because I was excited, and she shut that down so quick by giving me this annoyed look and saying "yeah but can you give me like 10 minutes to open up shop" .... It practically hugs the border crossing into Mexico. Yes, really close. You can't miss The Higos Coffee And Chilorios because the windows are crammed with a list and photos of the food it serves. It's a less than subtle hint saying, please eat here! You should. I was the only person in the restaurant. That's unfortunate because the huevos rancheros, coffee, and chips were all very good and simply satisfying. If they had given me a megaphone, I could have been tempted to stand outside and testify.
