The customer throughput is like molasses on a cold winter's day. Lean efficiencies aren't a thing here. I know because I'm "Gemba walking" while I'm sitting here typing this review. Also, prices are adjusted to be more expensive than traditional Starbucks. But that's expected, I suppose. Once you do get your drinks though... they taste like most coffee shops in Oklahoma, in that the milk is scalded to hell. Employees are friendly though. I am originally from Oklahoma and hadn't been back in awhile. I was happy to see that they had a coffee shop in the airport! There is always a long line.. but we did Order Pick Up and got our drinks in less than 10-12 minutes! I love that they had that feature available. Definitely saved some time. For Starbucks coffee, it's not bad. I'm sure I would feel much differently if the line had been super long like normal, but I thankfully only had 1 person in front of me. I was able to place my order and receive it in under 5 minutes, which has to be some sort of record. I ordered a pretty simple soy latte iced. As I said, for Starbucks, it wasn't bad. I can say I do not prefer Starbucks coffee because, no matter what I try, the espresso isn't smooth and often bitter to the point that it tastes burned. It's really not worth the expensive price, but I needed the caffeine. However, I am happy this airport does have coffee, and this is located directly from TSA security. The employee that took my order obviously didn't want to be there. She wasn't warm or friendly at all. I can understand not wanting to be there, especially since this location is normally slammed. It's just not a good attitude to have toward customers...especially in an airport. Most travelers are stressed, in a hurry, and not in great moods. I know I was and didn't appreciate someone in customer service not being friendly at all. She wasn't rude. That would've taken at least 5 words, but her body language and lack of greeting was definitely showing exactly how she felt. Maybe she was having a bad day. Anyway, I got my coffee quickly and was ready to get to my terminal. It's Starbucks. If you're craving a Starbucks drink, you'll be happy to see one at this small airport. Go to the Elemental Coffee by gate 6, so much better everything. This Starbucks store is just plain bad. Generally, I like Starbucks and in my opinion the speed, customization and amazing customer service are things I love about most Starbucks, Thai store is an exception on all points. The service is slow, they are usually out of 80% of their stock and supplies. For example on my recent visit, only after waiting in line for 15 minutes and at the cashier was it made known that they are out of ALL HOT cup sizes except short, and was told "we have been out for quite a while and have even borrowed from other stores".. Oh and at 10:45 am they were out of ALL breakfast sandwiches and pastries. The staff have zero sense of urgency and act as if you are inconveniencing them by being there. The manager was there also, didn't seem the slightest concerned about anything. Please do yourself a favor and just walk down the terminal hall to the gates, around gate 6, Elemental Coffee has just opened and they are amazing on all points, I promise you'll be glad you did. read more

This has got to be the worst Starbucks I've ever visited. Every order before mine was incorrect. everyone was getting a grande when the order was for a venti. I placed an order for a drink at kids temperature but the drink I received was piping hot. The drink sucks. Coffee tastes burnt and it has a chemical aftertaste. They had 3 sandwiches on display that weren't labeled. When I asked what was available the young lady at the register said "whatever is on display" but didn't offer what was on display by name. It seems that the young lady needed more training at the register. I will not be back to this location read more

really disappointed with my experience here. i was waiting for my drink and people behind me in line were already receiving theirs. i asked where mine was and they said the sticker never printed out. i told them what i ordered and then they made it incorrectly. i ended up missing my flight so i decided to go back and at least get the drink remade. they employees were extremely rude and cold towards me. when they handed me the drink i said thank you and to have a nice day and the lady turned her back and ignored me. also, they were out of grande cups at 6:00am... would not recommend this store. read more
