Blueberry Cuban Iced
Hannah R.

Stella nova is still 3 stars for me. Took about 15-20 min to get my iced coffee Friday late morning which is a lesson learned not to stop on my way to work with only 10 min to spare! The last time I came I ordered a potato burrito, but was given a bacon one that I couldn't eat. I explained the situation today, hoping that I could just get a potato burrito for free, but I had to pay for it which is okay but I was kinda hoping for them to at least apologize lols. My blueberry Cubans is good but the sugar at the bottom is crunchy and it's kinda giving Dunkin' Donuts. I'll come back bc I love the business and I lOVE THE MANGONADA FREEZE but yeah 3 out of 5 stars for now

Cute coffee shop to sip and relax. The neighborhood it's in is a great area to explore too. I recommend the iced toasted cinnamon latte.

Bfast Sandwich: sausage, egg, biscuit. Was good! Hot Med hazelnut chocolate latte with soy.

First time here and like it! Came on a Sunday at 10:25am. Clean and cool place to do any computer work. They have WiFi and cute seating area. Food was good and drink was good. Service was great

Excellent place for coffee/pastries and this location is great because they have a very convenient and quick drive-thru. I've been to this place multiple times (both through the drive-thru and in person) and have not been disappointed by their coffee/tea and pastry selections. This time I got a lemon poppy muffin as well as an iced chai tea. I think one of the times I got one of their French bread/ham sandwiches, which was also pretty good. The well-lit interior also features cool art, swag you can buy and plenty of comfortable couches/chairs/tables you can sit at. There is also a location downtown, but this one has the advantage due to having a larger space and also the drive-thru.

a drink in a plastic cup

The staff is always kind, however the drinks often don't live up to expectations. Today I asked for a medium oat milk latte with an extra shot and pumpkin spice. The ticket sticker on the cup says "pumpkin spice latte M.Add single". They forgot to put oat milk on the ticket. The drink itself tastes like it was made with whole milk, is watered down, and is missing the pumpkin spice. The last time I visited I was disappointed with the coffee as well. It tastes less like espresso shots and more like drip coffee with milk. This review is meant to help others who may be looking for more flavorful espresso like me. I would recommend Elemental or Classen coffee before this Stella Nova on Western. I will add though, that the ambiance is nice. Tall ceilings with chandeliers and lots of room to work with outlets for laptops!

Mornings are BUSY!!!!!!! Make sure you allot extra time if going thru the drive thru. Speaking of, I'm really happy they have a drive thru! I didn't have to wait too long but it's something that you would have to have a little extra time to be safe rather than sorry. This is my first time going there, Monday morning so let's get into it! I love the options they have as far as coffee shops go. I've been searching earlier this morning to get some good quality coffee with dairy substitutes available and a variety of options that was near me. This fit the bill. You have espresso options, brewed, classics and frappes! As far as dairy substitutes go, they have coconut, soy, oat and almond! I'm so happy about the oat milk choice. My new favorite that not everyone carries just yet. They have a full bakery and to my surprise that immediately sold me was VEGAN BURRITO! Say what?! They also have oatmeal and overnight oats. Have they been in my head this whole time? I understand now why it was so busy this manic Monday morning -- and well worth it! Sometimes I just don't want something sweet with my coffee.. and I'm glad they had other options. VERY AFFORDABLE! Especially when compared to other places. I spent about $8.25 for my medium coffee and burrito. I consider that a good steal bc of some places a vegan toast is $8 alone without a drink. My iced caramel oat milk coffee was really good! It's refreshing and makes me feel like I'm ready to conquer the day without feeling weighed down or want to curl up back in bed. The vegan burrito -- I make my own at home all the time so this one had to live up to the high expectation. I love the flavors they incorporated considering it's different than my traditional homemade burritos but it works so well! Finally a breakfast item that's vegan that will help fill me up without (again) weighing me down. All in all, Good Job Stella Nova -- I'll be back again!

Asked for a sweet iced coffee. First time here. Iced it was. Bitter and strong. And I like strong coffee. The sandwich was dried out.

This could have been handled so differently each time. We have been there twice since and this is what has happened. 1 time we walked in without reservation there were just 2 of us and several seats available including bar top. We were told we could not eat because we did not have reservations. We asked if we could possibly take a bar top or outside the waitress said no. This time we had a reservation and arrived 30 mins early when we got there we gave them our name and the waitress said it would be 45 mins. We asked if we could possibly get seated early since we were there (9:30 am) without looking at the schedule or the room she replied "No 45 mins". We turned and left. We had not been gone 10 mins and got a text saying our table was ready. I canceled the reservation. We ate at one of the hotels downtown and it was lovely. I did book this reservation a day early. Will not be booking again. Very disappointed.

All secondary roads are still snow packed so at 11:30 there was only one other couple in the restrauant. The Press is in an old (1920's ?) repourposed building. The interior is comfortable, charming and a bit whimsical. We started with an order of cheese sticks. They were very good and large. I liked that the cheese sticks did not have Italian seasoning in the breading. Jan ordered the chicken fried ribeye with mashed potatoes, cream gravey and green beans. Jan loved it. I took a bite of the chicken fried steak and it was excellent. The green beans were very good. They were loaded with garlic, which I love, but if you're not a garlic fan, I would suggest another side. I ordered the grilled chicked sandwich with waffle fries. The sandwich was good and the waffle fries were excellent. The portions are large and the food quality excellent. The prices reasonable. The menu has variety. The wrap was fresh, filling, decent mix of chicken, bacon, veggies, dressing not drowning in lettuce like some Cobb salads end up being. Waffle fries were crispy when they showed up but cooled off pretty quick once we got into conversation, so eat those first I guess.

The atmosphere is vibrant, modern, and full of energy with industrial-chic décor, warm Edison lighting, colorful accents, and an open, welcoming vibe that makes you want to linger over another cup of coffee. The food? Simply outstanding. The avocado toast was a showstopper--thick slices of perfectly toasted bread topped with creamy avocado, perfectly cooked eggs, fresh arugula, and a rich balsamic glaze that brought every bite together. Fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. The homemade sausage patties were some of the best I've had. You could taste the difference immediately--well-seasoned, juicy, and packed with flavor, paired perfectly with eggs and a cheesy hash brown casserole that was rich and comforting. The pancakes were nothing short of divine. Light, fluffy, buttery, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Whether topped with warm blueberry compote or enjoyed with whipped butter and maple syrup, they were cooked to perfection and easily one of the highlights of the meal. The drinks completed the experience. The specialty coffee was smooth with beautiful latte art, and the fresh breakfast cocktail with a Tajín rim added the perfect refreshing touch. What truly elevated the visit was the staff. Every interaction was warm, attentive, and genuine. Service was prompt without feeling rushed, and the team made sure every detail was right. Our waiter also kept resting his hand on the back partition of the booth directly behind my partner while talking to us. It came across as overly comfortable and lacking professional etiquette. Most people don't want strangers that close in their personal space while they're dining, especially during a birthday breakfast. I hadn't seen him there before, so he may have been new, I addressed the issue to management. The food overall was good, although the grits tasted a little dry and overcooked.
