Whew. If you're desperate for SBux, go ahead and brave this location. Otherwise, don't. The parking and drive through area here is cramped, has a bizarre layout, and is very difficult to navigate in and out of. The long was long, which we expected. We pulled up to the window and we're asked to read our SBux app payment code because they were unable to scan any payment methods. Service was pleasant but extremely slow. All three of our drinks were dripping over the sides, which was acknowledged and followed up with a stack of napkins. This is my go to Starbucks. The parking isn't ideal at times though. There are a few spots in the drive thru path so you might get trapped there. Also, sometimes the line is so long you can get stuck in the other spots too. Just have patience! The staff is always friendly and makes sure everyone is taken care of that's waiting both in the store and in the drive thru. Normally, this is my go-to Starbucks since it's on my way to work. But honestly, if there was another convenient place to stop on my commute, I'd choose that alternative over this Starbucks location. It's certainly not all bad here! The AM team is always so fast and nice - no small feat since they are constantly busy. Usually my drinks come out just as I ordered as well, although sometimes I find myself thinking my lattes are heavy on the coffee and light on the extra flavors. So, 4/5 stars for the team and the cups of joe. What drags this Starbucks' overall rating down for me is the exterior lot. Parking here is just horrendous; spaces are limited so you almost always will have to drive with caution as multiple people compete for a spot. Worse, some of the spaces are basically inaccessible because they're located right next to the drive-thru line. And when I say "next to," I mean that you head into the drive-thru line; park your car parallel to the line; then have to re-enter the drive-thru line once you get back in your car. It's TERRIBLE and I do not understand this set-up at all. If I had to sum this place up in just a couple of sentences? I'd go with: "The parking here really is nothing short of ridiculous. Busy location, I visit here a few times a week using the preorder function on the app. The drinks are almost always ready when I arrive and the staff is usually friendly enough, however the cleanliness of this store is NOT comparable to other locations. The floors are stained and crusted with coffee and food. The counters are always wet with spilled coffee and several times I have ruined clothing by having to reach for my drink over the dirty counter. Supplies are often being refreshed during the morning rush hour causing the pickup area to get clustered with the staff members seemingly clueless to customers. I really love Starbucks ! I think the drinks are exceptional ! I usually get iced green tea or a skinny latte ! The staff always seems to be super polite and very fast. They always have my order done right every single time. I don't come to Starbucks too often because I do love dunkin ! This location is very close to my house but the biggest gripe I have is the parking. If you do not get one of their like 13 spots you really don't have too many options. Ah, Starbucks. North Hills, Parkway East, or even in the heart of Downtown Pittsburgh, you always come through for me. I've been to this location several times, (once I was trying to hunt down Mikey & Big Bob from 96.1, I didn't find them here, though) and every single time, parking is an issue! There's parking spots IN the drive through line. Whaaaat? I couldn't even imagine being stuck at Starbucks, because my car was trapped behind the mile long line of cars that are constantly wrapped around the building. Anyway, the baristas are always super friendly, and happy to make my ever changing weird coffee requests. They redeem the awkward parking situation! Don't expect to hang out here, though. Unlike many of the other Pittsburgh Starbucks, there's not a lot of comfy space to chill in. More barstools than cushy chairs. They do Have a nice porch area, too. I really like Starbucks chai tea latte-it's spicy and has a kick. Sometimes I add vanilla if I'm in the mood for something sweet. I also love the ease of paying and ordering with the app, and I can keep track of my star points and use rewards on the app too. This location is right by my office, which I love, but the parking lot sucks. It's so small and always congested. Some of the few spots are located in the drive through line. Do not park in them if you ever want to get out because the drive through line is always packed. Your best bet is to mobile order beforehand, and if you can find a parking spot, pick it up inside. Literally the worst Starbucks that treats their employees like shit. Everyone there is overworked and underpaid and the district manager and managers don't care about anything but the numbers. They went through a pretty big shift in management about a month and a half ago and are still unable to get the place back to the point it was (actually being open) even though they were given ample time to get it covered. This location (2nd busiest in Pittsburgh) is one of my favorites, although it can be difficult to A) find a place to park and 2) once you find a parking place, finding a seat inside, and C) getting out of the place. There are parking places in the drive through lane so to exit you might be behind quite a few cars waiting for drink in drive through. It has all the necessities (2 comfy chairs, plenty of tables, and all the drinks and snacks) in a very tiny space. And, the reason this store is so busy, is the drive through and it's right off the exit of 376. One of the baristas told me this wasn't built to be a Starbucks, which is why from the outside it doesn't resemble one. It's between Olive Garden and Einstein Bros. This is the slowest Starbucks on the planet. Hopefully this feedback will trigger some type of improvement, but it has been like this for years and years. Drive through is so slow you could drive to Robinson and come back with similar timing results. Parking lot has 6 inaccessible spots which are in the drive through lane too, which means you cannot get out without going through the drive through. Why not make three parallel spots against the outer perimeter and move the useless walkway closer to the building? read more

The service and quality is fine, it's right near my office so it's the location I go to by default. The parking and location is horrible though. There are never any open spots and the drive through is setup that once you get in line you cannot get out until your order is complete and it's your turn. Yes, Starbucks is Starbucks. BUT this Starbucks I can't figure out. Now I am a person who enjoys most Starbucks. I have my Gold card. My toddler easily recognizes the store and even knows what to ask for in the menu that they can consume (squeeze pouches are what all toddlers want most in the world) But THIS Starbucks.
