This is a very good Starbucks location, within walking distance of most of Porto's attractions including the River Duoro and Sao Bento Station, located on R. de Mouzinho da Silveira.
Like the majority of EMEA Starbucks, the menu is the same and international Starbucks cards, such as those from the UK and the States aren't accepted. Compared to the UK, the pricing was considerably cheaper, with my Iced Gingerbread Latte costing GBP 4.09 at current conversion rates, with the same drink at home usually costing GBP £5.65, which again can be higher at franchised and certain corporate locations.
The interior is large and beautiful, with the arches dividing the levels, animal artwork on the wall and grand windows. The mix of different seating styles makes it ideal for anyone, the large communal desk is great for working, while the armchairs are great for tourists who want to take the weight off their feet and rest while sightseeing in the beautiful city of Porto so whether you want a quick coffee, or to relax, there's a seating type for you.
I ordered an Iced Gingerbread Latte, and my guest ordered a flat white, both drinks were served in real mugs, which I especially appreciated for my iced drink, service was both friendly and fast, and my drink was made up to a good standard as I would expect from Starbucks.
