This is a super busy and chaotic (1 star off) Starbucks by the astronomical clock, however, the one good thing about this Starbucks is that there are two bathrooms for customer use. Located steps away from the astronomical clock, this Starbucks is a perfect spot to hide from the heat after walking around the old town square. There are plenty of seats inside with moderate AC. The only downside is that you still have to pay to use their toilet. Even though the menu stated that we could customize our drinks with vegan whipped cream, it was out of stock at the time of my visit --along with many cold drink items, which isn't surprising considering how many customers they would receive due to their location. The barista also accidentally gave me a grande size instead of the tall I ordered, which was completely understandable considering that their previous customers were demanding to get their order fixed while cutting me off as I was ordering. read more

UMMM OKAY! I was never notified that Starbucks opened a location in Fairytale Town! This Starbucks is SO RANDOM! located in Old Town Square facing the Astronomical Clock, this Starbucks doesn't fit in here! but hey I'm glad it was there! I stopped by here to get a quick caramel frappuccino before my sister went on a walking tour since our tour started near the Astronomical Clock. Pretty much the only people here were the American tourists lol Nice to know Starbucks gotchu no matter where you are in the world in need of a pick-me-up! Caramel Frappuccino was not as sweet as what I'm used to here in California. Pretty sure they have different ingredients. Still awesome to get that Starbucks fix when I needed it! read more

I try to avoid the American chains when I travel abroad but Starbucks is good for a spot to take a seat, get a coffee, use the restroom and borrow a bit of Wi-fi. As usual, there's a code for the bathroom which is printed on the bottom of your receipt when you make a purchase and let's be honest, you can ALWAYS use another cappuccino right?? It's sugary without needing syrup chocolate or anything, but they'll give you free whipped creme, caramel, chocolate sauce, anything, if you ask. One of the more expensive Starbucks in the Czech Republic (10-20 CZK more than other Starbucks on each item). The drinks taste like every other Starbucks, and many tourists come They only have iced coffee in the summer, and if you ask for anything iced ("iced mocha") they make a hot mocha and put ice in it. Been to this Starbucks too many times to count. It's always a solid go-to place where you can be certain of what you are going to get: -Smiley service. -Palatable coffee. -Free wifi. -Restroom. -A place to warm-up (or cool down). Looks like they have gone away with the bathroom code as I remember this from past visits but there was no key code on the bathroom door today. This is also probably why the queue was five women deep. That said, this Starbucks has more modern and cleaner bathrooms than most, including, but not limited to, all Starbucks in the UK. Lots and lots of seating which is a bit unusual being that it is in a prime location, directly across from the astronomical clock. Overall, five stars. It puts all UK Starbucks to shame. read more

Being right in the Old Town Square, across from the Astronomical Clock, this Starbucks is extremely crowded and the lineups are very long. It is also quite small and cramped. For these reasons, I did not purchase a coffee at this location. (If you absolutely need your Starbucks fix while watching the clock, I recommend going to the location on Václavské náměstí, ten minutes away.)
