Very disappointing all around. The store was out of sleeves for hot drinks, no stoppers and lets talk about the service. We ordered a sausage sandwich and breakfast wrap. Waited forever for the food but the worst part was when we asked where the breakfast wrap was they said they were making it 10 minutes later the lady said oh I guess we didn't ring that in for you sorry. Another girl came in that her mom ordered her something on the mobile app and when she went to pick it up the lady told her sorry we are out of that. We can refund it if you have the app I can scan. Consistently a disappointing Starbucks. I have lived in Seattle, Portland OR, Dallas, and San antonio. I am a very frequent Starbucks customer and usually ask for iced drinks with little to no ice. It's never been a problem in over 10 years, until coming to the Starbucks in victoria. The drinks are usually not too good here. Never seems like the right ratio of coffee, milk, flavor etc. Weak espresso. It takes a very long time to get a drink. Then I got an iced drink with light ice a few days ago. It was like 1/3 empty. I had to get kids to activities so didn't have time to request a new drink, etc. I got the same drink, no ice last night and it happened again. $5 for this (picture attached). The manager said this is how they were told to make it per a weekly email from corporate (???). I just have a hard time believing that I've gotten this same drink the same way all across the country and where Starbucks was founded and have never been given drinks like this. Bizarre. read more

Star bucks decided to remove sugar free Carmel and hazelnut syrups from all their stores??? Ordered on my phone and it allowed me to put sugar free hazelnut syrup in my iced coffee, then promptly billed my account while I was I route. When I arrived, I was told they discontinued the syrup I had ordered and already paid for???! How can they bill me for something they no longer have? I am really disappointed in Star Bucks and their pay by phone system as well as their decision to discontinue my two favorite syrups. :( read more

We ordered 1 tall hot peppermint mocha with no whip cream and 1 tall cappuccino with vanilla. When we got the drinks they both were only half full of coffee and the other half was froth. I sent the peppermint back and asked for it to be remade. What I got back was basically black coffee with a ton of froth. The girl never apologized and I was too frustrated to send it back again. I am extremely disappointed with this starbucks, unfortunately I won't be going back to this one. read more

No complaints about the coffee or the speed of service. But I just went in and watched what was obviously a new girl trying her best to input my order correctly. She asked another girl named Stephanie (possibly a supervisor/manager as she was bossing others around loudly) if she had input it correctly just to be sure, and looks like she did. Then new girl asked Stephanie if she could help her do anything else, as no other customers were in line to take orders from behind me. Stephanie girl was really rude in saying "you should know what to do" and was being very rude & sarcastic with her tone and words to new girl. People skills are important when working with others. I think Ms Stephanie could use some training in the way in which she speaks to others. Makes for a much more enjoyable working environment. read more

We love Starbucks and spend a lot of time and money at them. The one in Victoria, TX on Navarro was a bad experience. My husband love the Venti Frappe with 5 shots of expresso. Because of the 5 shots there is always left overs and other stores will put that in another cup so he doesn't lose the shots he paid for. The barista that made the drink told me, "I'll do it this time, but one drink is supposed to fit in one cup so we won't do this again".. Filthy. Girl halfway making a drink and texting at same time. The area where you add all the goodies to your coffee was filthy. The half and half was out. I asked for more and I was literally given an open half gallon of half and half to help my self too... the crew here are not into their roles here and clearly unsupervised. You do need to be specific about how many pumps of this or that you'd like in your cuppa, especially in the drive through. I've had several orders turn out to be slightly different than what I'd ordered, but they're great about turning your corrected drink around to you in no time. This location is small - there isn't an abundance of seating, indoor or out. Parking is good, but the flow of traffic is a little off, since there's only one entrance/exit (if you have a big vehicle, park in the employee lot to avoid having to break your neck backing up and turning around to get out of there). Edited 10/2013: this location has deteriorated quickly. Not sure if it's a management issue or not, but drinks are NEVER right and staff doesn't care. Head across the street to the target location for WAY better drinks and service. read more

Update: They got a makeover. Makes the place look cool and hip. Too bad the service is still crap. Don't bother. Slow AF. They take forever to do ANYTHING. They need training. Corporate! Please visit and retrain this location. Horrible service. Horrible coffee. Still a half star review. And, this is the worst location: poor parking, drive thru is always jammed, and it's difficult to get in and out. The makeover is a waste. An expansion and new location is what is needed. Starbucks is Starbucks generally no matter where you go. This Starbucks is the only full Starbucks in Victoria though and the people who work there are awesome. It is always busy during peak times. The inside is crammed a lot of the time so I will go for the drive thru. Want coffee at peak hours fast through the drive thru? Forget about it. *Insert Mob Voice* Which is why I have to give 4 stars, because unfortunately 2 Starbucks would be amazing. Personal preference would be one out by the mall. It's not that the people inside are lazy during peak times it's that they are slammed. The line at 8 am makes you genuinely hate your coffee addiction. I wish i could give different reviews. Their morning people are amazing! Fast, accurate, nice, etc. The late shift though (the ones that are still there at around 9:50pm) are God awful. They don't listen to orders or even take them. I went through the drivethrough and was asked "did we take you order" and I reminded her by telling her "yea remember you got it wrong the first time?". You can see thwm playing around and talking inside instead of making the items. There are several of you leaning on the counter laughing? And only one is making drinks? With 4+ cars behind me? First, I respect the new "masks in the store rule" , but when I received drink, I always taste it to see if its correct & I got yelled at by a lady working to put my mask on or "get out of the store". I frequent this location at least 4-5 times a week. The service is good if you are very patient and explain yourself very clearly. I usually order the Venti Blonde Roast with a splash of heavy whipping cream. I have received many variations of my order. My favorite was the Blonde Roast with whipped cream. I rarely see the same cashier twice, but if I get the wrong coffee, I always tell them and they are quick to correct the mistake. The employees are extremely friendly and polite. You can get in and out pretty quickly The storefront is always very clean and uncluttered. All in all, I usually leave quite satisfied. read more

I do not understand all the hate on this Starbucks. I went there 3 days in a row when I was in town, and every morning I was greeted with a smile by the barista behind the counter. Three different baristas all equally friendly! I don't order anything fancy so maybe that is the reason for others disappointment but I was happy with my americano each day. There was a wait for my drink but not unreasonable. My favorite part of this review is that my name on my cup was spelled correctly every day! This is VERY rare for me at Starbucks, so thank you!
