This has been one of my family's go-to spots in Victoria for the past ten years. It's our favorite dinner spot on the drive heading from the Valley up toward Houston. My go-tos are either the Pad Thai (which my husband claims is as good as the Pad Thai he tried in Bangkok) and the Pad Woon Sen Tom Kha (which is actually a fantastic combination of Pad Woon Sen and Tom Kha soup that is only sold here). I also love to get a Thai tea every time. The restaurant is cozy and cute, with lots of Thai decor and the staff is friendly and helpful! Always look forward to eating here! Oh, and in case any gluten free diners are searching, my mom is severely gluten intolerant (borderline celiac) and has never had trouble here. read more

Noot's is heaven and hell bundled into one. On one hand the Thai curries and other dishes are amazing and the staff is courteous and caring. On the other hand, those peppers are so spicy that over 24 hours after eating my red curry, my insides are still dealing with the aftermath of a nuclear explosion. I'm used to spicy, being a fan of all things tex-mex, but oh boy it's been a long time since I've felt like I've been cursed by a dish. I'm still giving Noot five stars because it's not their fault that I'm weak and can't handle my spice. I believe last night was my third time there. I always depart with a happy memory, longing for more. Dishes are tasty, filling and full of fresh vegetables and flavors. I'm a big fan. If only I lived closer, I'd subject myself to this type of culinary torture more often, alas since Victoria is over an hour away I'll have to bid my time until the next trip in the area. The fried chicken spring rolls were good. Not enough dipping sauce for 4 rolls, though. Fried rice for a kid was okay but pretty flavorless. Texture was nice. Garlic fried rice was very one note. No green or anything fresh in it or on top. Pad see eu w/ chicken was the bad part. It was very sweet & very salty. The noodles were cut short & difficult to eat. They also were not the wide noodles I was expecting. I couldn't finish it. I ate as much as I could as I was hungry but my tongue started tingling due to how salty it was. My wife had chicken had thai that she liked, but I thought it was weird as I have never seen that dish served with Zucchini green beans, and broccoli. Noot's is a great local spot for fresh Thai food in Victoria! We love to stop in for curries when we are over fried food. You can not go wrong with any of their curries, the proteins are always great and the staff never have bad recommendations (Green Curry with Salmon was on point!). The Little Thai Soup is always my starter, and it is a complex flavor bomb that gets my taste buds ready for the main course! Service is always prompt and the restaurant is clean and inviting. a thai gem in victoria. for 5 people we ordered the perfect amount of food: - fried tofu appetizer: delicious! love the dipping sauce, just wish it the quantity was more. came out piping hot, be careful! - pad kee mao + pad thai: pad kee mao was more enjoyable between the two but unfortunately both of the noodle dishes were quite salty. have definitely had better. pad thai was also more sour, less sweet. - green curry (comes with rice): really can't go wrong. i'm biased towards green curry and really enjoyed this dish - crazy fish (comes with rice): this was our waiters suggestion and ended up being our favorite dish this afternoon. the fish was so buttery and i really enjoyed the crispy batter of the fish. tasted very nice with the fresh sauce (strong fish sauce flavor). - mango sticky rice: we decided to treat ourselves and ordered this item after confirming with the waiter that the mangos were in season and wow the mango was deliciously ripe. i remember trying this dish many years ago and the mango was a bit hard and tart so i'm happy to have had a better experience with this dish this time. read more

I have not been to this restaurant in a long time. It looks really cute inside now. The service was impeccable! I could not have asked any better. We were early celebrating my son's birthday early and late celebrating his girlfriend's birthday. The server brought them a lovely Happy Birthday dessert to share with a lit candle. Absolutely adorable and completely unexpected. We had the green curry chicken, pad Thai combo, and glass noodles with pork. We started doing to go orders because of this but they are even rude then! We were looking for an allergen friendly option on our way back from Corpus Christi and we found this place. It took us a bit to be seated. Then a bit to get drinks. And a lot of bit to get dinner. They had informed us of only 2 servers after being seated, but less than half of the restaurant was seated so should've been not too bad and not overrun. My suggestion would have been to stop to-go orders in this situation and focus on patrons in the brick and mortar store instead. I got the GF pad Thai. It was ok. Noodles were quite overdone. My youngest said here's which was regular pad Thai was very, very sweet. Our other members were content with their entree choices. The restaurant was every clean and nicely decorated. read more

Delicious food here at Noot's Thai! We ordered a plethora of food and it was all delicious. Everything from fried and fresh spring rolls (veg, chicken and shrimp), fried chicken appetizer, tom yum soup, massaman yellow curry, pod ped pork (may have mispelled this one! but it was a delicious peanut sauce), fried rice, and other dishes were all super yummy. Will return! My only issue was with the bubble tea. I ordered a milk tea and it seemed like it was only milk. Not the best Thai I've had but the best for locals. As a DFW Yelper, the restaurant has a good location and nice furnishings. I am not impress of the ambience and the cleanliness of the restaurant. I felt like the restaurant was dirty and their restrooms are smelly. The service could've been better because our server with the curly black hair made us feel like we we're being rushed with our orders even tho only few customers were around, at that time and we find her attitude quite appalling. For appetizers, we ordered Golden Moon and the crispy egg wrap was over fried but the potatoes and minced chicken was a little bland but the vinaigrette was spot on. The Tom Yum is their popular, I would recommend "hot" level if you can take the heat but the spice just makes it better. I think the mushrooms was overtaking to the chicken as the chicken was few. I don't recommend the Tom Yum Chicken Noodle Soup because the rice noodles are under cooked and tasteless. Just order the Tom Yum Soup & a cup of Rice. The Pad Thai is also one of the restaurants popular food and again, their rice noodles are somehow under cooked and it's something with the quality of it being bad but the sauce was good, but lacking. The Thai Bobba Tea had this slushy type of texture but the taste is too sugary. The Taro Bobba Tea with Coconut taste delicious but I think it's better without the Coconut flavoring. Overall, I think the restaurant should improve it's service and step up their food. read more

The spring rolls were soooo good. They were served fresh and hot. I would order them again. My husband had the Ginger with beef. He really enjoyed it but couldn't eat it all and he always has a big appetite and overeats. My sister had the Pra Ram. She enjoyed completely and was in aw at the appetizing appearance. I had the Pad Kee Mao. It was good although the noodles were very starchy which took away the taste of the chicken. The only reason why I'm only giving 4 Stars was because of the Starchy Noodles. The Hostess seated us promptly and she was also our waitress. She was very attentive to our needs and was very nice. The food is amazing. I love their papaya salad and their pad thai has absolutely amazing flavor. If you want to try something thats not too different for the American palate, try the Pad See Eu. Their sticky rice and mango dessert is phenomenal and addictive. Their thai tea is very strong too. Super great place to try out. They also play what sounds like Thai radio which is really neat if you want to feel like you're in a different part of the world for an hour or so lol. read more
