Dr. Woolfolk was rude, did not communicate what was being done accurately, and rushed me and my…read morefamily through like we were on an assembly line. I asked not to have him do my work anymore and started seeing Dr. Herring instead. On a visit when I was NOT scheduled to see Dr. Woolfolk, he inserted himself into a discussion inappropriately and aggressively, and yelled at me because I was dissatisfied and upset about his poor work and communication. He also advised us to get work done that I later found out was not required. I highly discourage anyone from selecting Dr. Woolfolk as your dentist. You may have to travel a few extra minutes to find another dental office, but you will be saving yourself a huge headache. (Apparently, Dr. Herring is his father-in-law which may be why they keep him around.)

I think that's the only time a dentist has ever called me at home and left me his personal cell phone number to make sure I'm ok! You just can't get that kind of customer service anywhere else. The only thing I wish was different is that they're not a Delta Dental preferred provider plan, although for major endodontic work (root canals) you actually end up paying 50% no matter which provider you use, so in the grand scheme of things I guess it doesn't matter. Like I said, you just can't get this kind of service anywhere else.

I had an open bite, which I had been told by two of these recommended orthodontists would only be able to be addressed with jaw surgery. In addition, my teeth had started to crowd. The third was very kind, saying since I was already wearing a TMJ dental night guard that I would be able to keep the teeth in their current position, thus keeping my "pretty" smile. When I went to Smile Drs. to see Dr. Montgomery, my hope was to straighten my teeth before they got bad. Being in my early 40's it was a tough decision to want to do something like this for myself. Once the doctor saw me, she explained that she was willing to try some unique tactics using Invisalign. I could not believe it. Needless to say, that was almost a year ago. Not only does my smile look AMAZING, but I can do things I was not able to do - like chew foods like spinach and steak. Even my tongue thrust/lisp is minimal. I would recommend Dr. Montgomery and her team to ANYONE - she is creative, brilliant, and persistent! I feel lucky to have found her.
