Got there and it was BBQ pulled pork on a hoagie, small amount of beans and marshmallow fruit spoon full (I can remember name of that Ambrose?). I recently stayed at this campground after booking Tent Site #6 with power hookup, and my experience was extremely disappointing due to multiple service failures, safety concerns, and unprofessional communication. 1. Incorrect Check‑In Instructions The self‑check‑in directions provided were inaccurate. The instructions stated to "turn right toward the barn", but the correct route required an immediate left. After a long drive, unclear directions created unnecessary confusion and delay. 2. Power Hookup Failure & Safety Concerns After setting up my tent at 7:24 PM, I discovered that none of the four outlets were functioning. When I called for assistance, I was repeatedly told to "press the reset button," despite explaining that the outlet was not a GFCI, which is a safety requirement under Tennessee electrical standards. This was not only unhelpful--it was unsafe. 3. Lack of Communication & Delayed Support Between 7:24 PM and 9:15 PM, I made multiple calls for updates: 8:25 PM - Called again because no one followed up. 9:00 PM - Walked to the office; no staff present. Calls went to voicemail, even when selecting the Urgent option. 9:15 PM - Finally informed that no technician was available until the next morning. At no point was I proactively updated, and no immediate solution was offered until I insisted. 4. Poorly Communicated Alternative Accommodation Only after pressing for a resolution was I offered a cabin. The instructions given were simply: "It's the cabin with the red roof and red deck. You can find it on the campsite." I explained multiple times that I was facing Highway 109 and needed clear directions. Instead of providing assistance, the staff member repeatedly said, "You can easily find it, it's the only one with a red roof." After a 10‑hour drive, breaking down my tent in the dark, and navigating a nearly pitch‑black campground, this vague guidance was unacceptable. A basic courtesy would have been for a staff member to meet me, use a flashlight, or at least point me in the correct direction. Instead, I was left to wander the property alone until another camper kindly helped me locate the cabin. To add to the disappointment, the "farm" itself was poorly maintained. The gazebo area was covered in bird droppings, and the netting above it was improperly secured, trapping several birds -- some alive, some dead. The overall environment did not resemble a well‑kept campground. A long‑term guest named Tom allowed his husky to roam off‑leash. At one point, the dog nearly urinated on my tent. He also did not pick up after his dog. The bathroom facilities were equally substandard. There was only one toilet booth and one shower booth for the entire area, both built with noticeably poor workmanship. I have never encountered a campground with such limited and inadequate restroom facilities. 5. No Support During Checkout At 10:14 PM, I called again for checkout guidance and was hung up on. My follow‑up voicemail was never returned. I checked out at 4:00 AM, left the key inside, and locked the door without any staff interaction. 6. Unprofessional Call the Next Day The following afternoon at 3:42 PM, I received a call asking whether I had checked out and how they were supposed to access the cabin without the key. This made it clear that no one had listened to the voicemail I left the night before, where I explained exactly how I checked out and where I left the key. The staff member then made an issue out of not having a spare key -- which raises concerns about their preparedness if a guest ever loses one. When I explained again that I had left a voicemail and followed reasonable checkout steps, she responded rudely, saying: "We upgraded you to a cabin and I hope you are happy being a rude guest," and then hung up on me. After a whole summer being sidelined due to my partner's dual knee replacements, we wanted to have an long weekend adventure....when we found we could stay in a horse stall instead of a boring hotel, we were all in! Starstruck Farms, about 30 min outside Nashville was the perfect choice for us: close enough to soak in the crazy of Whiskey Row for the afternoon and far enough that we didn't have to deal with constant drunk Crazy. While there are several options for accommodations, we chose the Horse Stall room. This is a converted horse barn, but as advertised, it is imperfectly perfect! Each stall could sleep 4 people comfortably as there are queen sized beds both in the loft and the main floor of the stall. A/C and heat units as well as private bathrooms and country cute decorations are all present. Free popcorn and sweet tea and soda as well as breakfast are all included with your stay. There was live music both the Friday and Saturday night we were there. We were there the first day it dipped below freezing and while our stall was comfortable, the halls(aisles?) were a little chilly. The hot water heater in the shower was small so we had to shower quickly! This is an experience stay & if you are not an experience seeker, this may not be the place for you. For us, however, it was a great relaxing getaway. All of the staff is incredibly nice and will do everything to ensure you enjoy your stay. We are looking forward to returning during the warmer months to truly take advantage of the grounds with our friends! read more

First of all, I have to give props to the owner of Starstruck Farms because he is a clever writer (so I don't have to). I recommend going directly to his website or on Airbnb to get a comprehensive run-down of the property. Here's a snippet: Originally built by Reba McEntire, this unique property has got it all! The barn has been converted into private rooms with a bathroom and shower. It's rustic, it's unique and it's like you're staying with a super creative uncle. He'll let you walk his property, grill, go glamping (if you prefer that over the barn), provide entertainment, have a bonfire, cook you a yummy breakfast, etc. We only wished we could've stayed longer but trust me, we were planning our return visit before we even left! The pricing is affordable, the check in/out process is easy peasy, the staff is very friendly...I could go on but you could just go yourself! read more

We stayed at Starstruck Farm just outside Nashville, TN and had the best experience! Our A frame cabin was ready when we got there, we just pulled up and went inside. The cabin was cute and had the necessities needed. We went around to explore and was greeted by Jon, the kitchen manager, who was extremely friendly and gave us a tour of this incredible location! He told us how the owner has his own recipes for marinara sauce and pizza dough so we ordered their pizza at the Italian restaurant on site. It was soooo yummy and so filling!!!! At dusk we saw fireflies which were the highlight for me! Such a beautiful site to see!! It's a simple room and was perfect for our one night stay. We would recommend bug spray as it is like glamping. read more

I'm hoping to change my review/rating but I'm giving 1 star because I'd like the owner to know what happened. We've heard these radio ads all over the place about this "amazing Italian restaurant" opening in star struck farms. We were really excited to try it. I tried finding info online, and the only info I found was a link to their grub hub menu. I also tried ordering for pickup so I could tip cash in person. Nope, delivery only. Ok, fine. The food should still be good, so we placed our order. Much to our growling stomachs' shegrin, our order was cancelled 45 minutes after placing it. No explanation, just cancelled. So I thought we'd call to see if maybe something else was available to make instead. No answer. No voicemail set up. What is the point of setting up a "restaurant" and doing a mass ad campaign if you can't accommodate or produce a shred of food?! We're still hopeful to try it one day, but until then, we'll wait. read more

We had our wedding at Starstruck Farm on May 27th. It was a second marriage for both of us and we wanted something a little more subdued and intimate. Starstruck did not disappoint! Everything was perfect, the venue, the food, and the flowers/decorations. We couldn't have made a better choice for our wedding. After staying in a 5 star lavish hotel in Nashville for our sons wedding we wanted some peace and quiet and farm environment. This place is adorable! The manager was at the door when we walked in and was sweet and down to earth. The stalls were adorable. If You are looking for a unique experience in a place that you will talk about for a long time to come due to its Qwaint environment with imperfections that were just perfect. My husband and I felt so relaxed and walked the beautiful grounds. If you want to relax And get away from the hustle and bustle, I highly recommend this adorable place. we stayed there the second week of October 2024. Temperature was in the 30s overnight. the stalls are not climate controlled. We were freezing all night long. There is a sign in the room, saying that you cannot switch your unit mode to heat otherwise it will disable all the other mini splits in the rooms around and cause "headaches" for the other guests. There is a portable mini heater in there, which turns off after an hour or so and cannot be restarted for 30 minutes. We had so many layers of clothes on. and we're still freezing. The doors to the outside from the rooms were not insulated at all and cold air could be heard and felt just blowing in all night. Also, there were signs out in the hallway saying keep the doors closed, but they were stuck open and try as I might I could not close them. They should let you know ahead of time that the rooms are not climate controlled! It's kind of a big deal. read more

We were not expecting a Teepee when we reserved our 3-bedroom, 2-bath A-Frame House. I would recommend if you're planning to visit, be sure to do your research. My husband made reservations under Air B&B and didn't realize that this was not a house, but rather a Teepee. It was cute, but I was disappointed that there was no running water, no bathroom, sink, etc. We couldn't even find the place. We called Jay and were given the geographical coordinates instead of an address. We called him back 3 times before finally getting an address and hour and half later. It took so long to get the address that we missed the wedding ceremony that we traveled to Lebanon for. We were all dressed up for a 200-guest wedding and not prepared to "camp out." The setting is beautiful and the grounds are well-kept. We had to go all the way across the property just to find a shower and toilet area. Two showers and toilets are not enough for all the people that were staying on the property. I would recommend waiting until the rest of the bathhouse is completed before accepting more guests. The door to the ladies' room was swollen and wouldn't close. There was a roach in one shower and a couple of centipedes in the second shower. I couldn't catch the roach to kill it so opted to kill the centipedes and shower in that one. The shower curtains are too short and not substantial enough to keep water inside the shower. That causes a slipping hazard. Our television didn't work so we missed the U.K. football game that we'd been looking forward to watching. There was no information in the tee-pee telling us how to reach maintenance. There was a coffee maker but no coffee and no water provided either. The employees that we interacted with were friendly. Breakfast was pretty good. It was surprising that on Sunday morning, breakfast concludes at 9:00 a.m. read more

Bed bugs, we had a horrible experience with bed bugs in one of his cabins while we were there for a wedding and the owner continues to lie and deny everything. Calling me a liar, even tho it was his employee who told us they were bed bugs. Very unprofessional owner and Staff, stay at your own risk. read more

A sweet, wholesome stay with the perfect bit of southern charm. The grounds are lovely and the service is spectacular. However, the true shining gem of our stay was the informational binder that was provided to our barn suite. That iconic binder was the most comical, tragic, and insightful piece of literature I have ever read. I recommend staying here simply to read Jay's impeccable writings and stories that have created an enchanting memory for years to come. Thank you for the beautiful stay and incredible service!
