Was visiting Nashville to connect with my fraternity brothers and wanted to add a special touch by reserving a sprinter van to take us down to Shelbyville for the Nearest Green Distillery Tour and then out on the town in Nashville later that night. Unsure of how best to book, I called and spoke with Edward who put together two quotes to fit our needs. One quote was for the tour and the other was for the night out on the town. Communication from the time I booked in March until service at the end of April was great. For the tour, the van was set to arrive at 10:15am so we could get there in time for our 12pm tour time. Carlton called me well before that to let me know he had arrived, which I appreciated, so I could corral the guys to make sure we made out the door on time. Carlton was great and provided great communication. He dropped us off right in front of the entrance so folks could think we were famous, ha! Later that night Joe picked us up for dinner, and drop us off at a few different spots. We were initially supposed to return at 12:30am, but when I called him he to extend he said not a problem and with smile. On both trips the van was clean and comfortable. I had called a few other companies, but glad I went with Emerald. Although I'm not from Nashville, will be singing their praises to anyone that asks!

They contacted us a week before our wedding…read moreoffering us an upgrade to a Bentley from the Jaguar we had booked, because the Bentley had AC. We took the 'upgrade', and then the Bentley broke down 2 blocks into the 1 mile ride between our reception and hotel. Obviously as a vintage car, it had no emergency flashers, so we were sitting in a hot car in the middle of a lane of traffic. Again, I understand the cars are vintage, but we ended up getting picked up by my mother-in-law, and expected they might reach out to us about what happened. They did not, and when we called 3 days later, Diane repeatedly said "you left us there!" as though it was our responsibility, in a wedding gown and tux, to stay in a broken down car when the driver couldn't give us any timeline of what was happening. She also blamed it on the AC, which is frustrating considering we didn't even ask for a car that had that feature. In the end, they only gave us a 50% refund, which is highway robbery for a 2-block ride. Not only would I not use them again, I'm going to tell any engaged friends to not use them as well. I just felt it was all-around poor customer service and not what we needed on our wedding night.

Our driver at the end of the night was so lovely, and took us on a special route around the city. If I was purely rating the drivers, I would give 5 stars. - Their selection of vintage cars is pretty incredible! My husband loved getting to pick one out to use as our exit car. Cons: - The person who answers the phone has a very strong attitude, and I would have rated 1 star just for that if the drivers hadn't improved our experience. First of all, we always felt rushed off the phone, and when calling with multiple questions we would have to yell "wait wait, there's more!" In order to prevent her from hanging up on us. Additionally, we asked if we could have drivers who were vaccinated for covid (this was back in December 2021 when Omicron was rampant and my grandmother, who ultimately passed away before the wedding, was immunocompromised), and she turned very aggressive and said due to a shortage of drivers and legal obligations, she couldn't guarantee staff was vaccinated. This was literally the only vendor out of 10 vendors (including our catering company who ensured all their severs were vaccinated and masked, which was over 20+ people) who refused to accommodate this request. But trying to be understanding, we asked if the drivers could just wear masks instead, thinking that would be a fair compromise. But she literally laughed at us, sighed multiple times, and said she could not control her staff and ask them to wear masks. This conversation went on and on and she continued to argue with us. We ultimately decided to hire a second transportation company to take guests from the hotel block to the venue because we didn't want to deal with her anymore. She also gave my husband attitude the day before the wedding when he called to confirm the pick up times because he didn't realize our day-of coordinator had already called as well. She could have simply confirmed it again, which would have taken 30 seconds, so the attitude just felt extremely petty and unnecessary. - Their selection of larger vehicles for wedding guest transport is also relatively slim. The largest vehicle they have is sprinter vans. Signature Transportation was able to offer coach busses (and by the way - Signature transportation told us their staff was vaccinated and could wear masks!!! It was truly night and day customer experiences lol). We would have considered using Matchless for guest transport if they had dropped the attitude and had larger vehicle options.

    I'm sorry to share a negative review of Signature Transportation. We booked them for our 200-guest…read morewedding based on our venue's recommendation, and it turned into a disaster. The booking process was frustrating; it was hard to reach Molly Griggs, and after several conversations, we reserved one mini XL (50 people) and one super coach (57 people). We confirmed a detailed schedule multiple times well in advance, including specific pick-up and drop-off times. On the wedding day, while I was getting ready for our 5 PM ceremony, I learned that our guests from Harpeth were on the wrong bus and at the wrong venue. This was incredibly stressful, as these guests were key family members, including the groom's uncle who was reading during the ceremony. Our ceremony was delayed as they rushed to arrive. After an investigation, it became clear that Signature Transportation had forgotten to pick up our Harpeth guests. The guests were in the lobby at 3:50 ready for a 4:00 pick up. Signature was no where to be found, but a grayline super coach was there. Our guests got on that bus, as they figured it was for our wedding. Signature arrived at Harpeth hotel at 4:17 pm (cameras at Harpeth have evidence) and only picked up 1 person, as 25 of our guests were on the other wrong bus. Dana tried to say there wasn't a specific time in the contract to pick up the Harpeth guests, but the trip manifest clearly states the bus arrival was earlier at Hilton to allow enough time to grab Harpeth guests for a drop off at the venue by 4:30pm. The stops are clearly stated and shown in the trip manifest. I spoke with both Molly Griggs and Dana Taft, the manager. We received a partial refund, but it didn't reflect the stress caused on our wedding day. Dana stated that "feelings" weren't part of the contract, which felt dismissive. The service was not fulfilled per our contract, but Dana disagreed with that statement. I hope no one else has to experience this. Despite our clear communication with Signature, they failed us. I recommend looking for a more reliable transportation company, as planning a big 200 out-of-state wedding is stressful enough.
