The best part is, after every cleanse, I feel lighter and more connected, even after some very heavy work that may bring up an array of emotions: when I leave, I feel like the sun is shining brighter and all my favorite songs are on the radio. I know the address sounds like it is a magical made up place. Anyways I got there around 5pm and met Bill, He had me go though exercises to measure my strength, flexibility and endurance. Bill went over my results comparing me to where average was for my age, asked me if I was interested, I said yes and put his hand out towards mine we shook on it, I setup two 30 minute sessions a week. I have experienced lower back issues since I was in high school. I have tried Yoga and exercise in the past, but I would eventually experience too much pain to continue and make it a regular practice. This is why I choose to involve a professional to help me make an attempt to fix my back with exercise. I really didn't expect to see positive side effects so quickly. But within a few weeks, I started to notice I wasn't hurting. Then after a few months I started to notice my muscles are getting toned. Now that I'm 18 or so weeks into this process my life has changed so much for the better. I noticed this morning with snow shoveling I just blasted though the drive way and it was easier than I ever remembered. So happy to see the community come together in this space. Events here are usually in the evenings or on weekends. Everything from crafting classes to book clubs to divorce support groups. I love the badass ladies dinners and tea events. It's about making those bucket-list things happen. Never tried boxing, ridden a Segway or been to _____? This club will make it happen, and you can do it with your girlfriends in tow. For the work-from-home crowd they offer drop-in coworking every other Friday. Bring your laptop and use the WiFi. Classes can cost from $20-40+ and after taking several, I can say they are definitely worth it. The SheHive is new, and changing rapidly based on demand for classes. The course list they offer looks interesting and I can see myself coming back for more.
