I stopped in to restock my supply of paper goods, including guest towels, cocktail & dinner napkins, and disposable plates. Home Goods always has a wide selection. The Home Goods staff here is always friendly and helpful. I did check out the greatly reduced clearance section, but didn't see anything I wanted or needed. But then around the corner I'll find something that someone else would find ugly that I love! We basically got there early in the evening, stood in line for several hours with our coffee waiting for them to open up and got quite a few incredible steal and deals when we went inside. I still have a few of their items hanging in my living room, a great coffee table and I donated several other items to an animal rescue that I worked with for charity auctions. Now I just have to stalk their Facebook page so that I can catch that next big sale that they have. And probably talk to my friend that I went with back then and see if she can refresh me on how we found out about it.

I've driven by Treasures from Home for years and always noticed the clothing racks and little…read moredisplays outside. I'd constantly think, "one day I need to stop in," but never actually did until this past Saturday. And I'm so glad I finally went! This place is such a hidden gem. Outside alone, they had a $2 rack and a $1 bin, which immediately pulled me in. Once inside, it just kept getting better. There are so many "treasures from home" to browse name brand clothing, shoes, a whole purse room, and even handmade items. I loved that they have dressing rooms available, which makes it easy to actually try things on. The staff was really friendly, and the overall layout impressed me. There's a lot to look through, but it's not overcrowded you can comfortably walk around and take your time. I could easily see myself spending a couple of hours here just browsing. The prices are more than reasonable, and I liked that many items have tags with additional discounts. I was also pleasantly surprised by the size range they had a great plus-size selection, not just limited sizing like you sometimes see in resale shops. There's parking on the side of the building, and if that's full, there's additional street parking nearby, which makes it pretty convenient. I didn't end up purchasing anything this visit, but honestly, that just means I'll be back soon (and probably leaving with a lot next time!).
