    Very lovely owner. Lots of things from clothes, furniture ,housewares, bowls, China. I found a great handmade wicker picnic basket and a artisan pottery bowl Dog friendly They have dates that they reduce the price. I got my wonderful basket for $13.00

    We do, we have an antique dining room set in right now with 4 chairs and it is dark wood with tapestry style chairs. We are open 10-7 Mon. Thru Fri. and 10-5 on Sat.

The Red Door Consignment Gallery has an amazing selection of product over its 3 floors, though one floor is geared more towards office furniture. It is a warehouse-like building that can be a lot of walking if you're one who has to explore every nook and cranny. The air circulation is managed with the help of large fans throughout. This was an important detail because, during our most recent visit, Hbg was experiencing one of its hottest days of the year. We were grateful for the fans, and would have appreciated an offer of bottled water too. The staff leave customers alone, but are happy to help or to answer questions if needed. They have a supply of tape measures that shoppers can borrow during their visit. They also provide moving services if needed. All in all we enjoy shopping here periodically, and may even look into having them sell some of our unused furniture.

Second: I asked for the sticker price tag that was on the crystal vase, she said she already threw it away. I just wanted to write about additional discount on the crystal vase because of the length of time in the consignment. The longer items are at the shop they get discounted before being returned to the customer if not sold Third: I purchased a crystal vase, but the owner put it in a plastic bag. Fourth: I handed the owner my card to pay, and when she gave it back to me, she laid it on the counter instead of putting my card in my hand. There is excellent eco-friendly sustainable value in consignment shopping but today not an outstanding customer service day at Pass It On Consignment Store.

The sales people were friendly and professional. We were looking for an entertainment center with a fireplace insert. The one we really liked was not available to order and they only had the floor model. The floor model was in perfect condition and offered to us at a great discount. The manager assured us that they would plastic wrap the entire piece to ensure it remained in perfect condition. They also recommended a third party delivery service, which they use all the time and multiple people in the store recommended. This delivery person was a total fiasco, so do not follow Raymour & Flanigan suggestions (but this will be a different review).  Upon receiving our item there were scratches and gouges on the top due to the Raymour & Flanigan's employees plastic wrapping the angled shelf directly on top of the console with no protection/padding between. This is just sloppy and laziness. We contacted our sales person the next day who was very responsive and stated, this is not how we do business and said she would send a ticket to the top and get back to us. We have heard nothing since the complaint was filed.  Yes, we know floor models are "as is" but when negligence on the sellers part causes the damage after the sale, there should be some follow up. While the furniture is nice and reasonably priced, I would be very hesitant to recommend purchasing from Raymour and Flanigan as you may not receive what you paid for in the store.

    We ordered a set of end tables at the Mechanicsburg store on February 24th, I was told they would…read morebe ordered and shipped and arrive in one week. The Store salesman told me to just pick them up the following Thursday (total of 9 days) at the Harrisburg store. I drove to the Harrisburg store (which is 45 minutes away) to pick them up, only to be told they were not ordered correctly. The staff at Harrisburg stated they reordered correctly this time (and the woman who was 'handling it' signed the paperwork to give me a guarantee that it was ordered correctly) and would ship the table to my house for the following Monday (4 days later). I received a confirmation email on Sunday, March 1st that the tables would be delivered between 9a.m.-12p.m. the next day (Monday, March 2nd). I received a phone call at 7:10 a.m. Monday from the 'manager' of the deliveries that the tables were not 'ordered' properly, and that the tables were not shipped so I can't get the tables until at least Friday. I voiced my frustration at this point since I have now been told the order was correct and processed but am now being told I have to wait even more time due to their incompetence. I asked for the manager to call me to discuss these multiple issues at this point, but ended up having to call the manager since he didn't return my call for over 3 hours. He stated he made sure the tables were ordered, and they should be delivered on the day they stated (Friday, March 6th). He stated he would look at what compensation he could provide for us and would contact us later. I still have not received anything from him to this day in a follow up email or phone call. Finally, I get confirmation that the tables are being delivered on Friday between 12:15 and 3:15. The tables arrived at around 2 p.m., but were already assembled (which we asked them to be left in the boxes so we could put them together), and were completely wrapped in fabric covers and plastic wrap. However, the tables themselves had white streaks up and down the legs of the tables. I thought this might be some dust or smear from the wrapping, so I took wood cleaner and all purpose cleaner to wipe off the smears, but the white would not come off the table legs. It looked like these tables were just taken off of a sales floor and just shipped as is without even worrying about the weird coloring on the legs. How someone from your company would think anyone would want these tables in that condition just baffles me. And that they wrapped them as though they were put together and protected, but were just wrapping them to cover up the discoloration on the tables was truly insulting. I decided to take the tables back to the Mechanicsburg store on Saturday, and walked in to talk with a manager about the horrible experience we were having so far. I explained to him what was going on with the issues with the ordering and processing of these tables, and we were very frustrated at this point with the store's handling of our order. The manager then says to me 'Why don't you take a breath' while I am explaining to him the issues. That truly set me off, I was not being loud or talking fast or out of control, he just decided I needed to be treated like a child so he could control the situation. I told him to never tell me to take a breath again, and he needed to get my order either cancelled or corrected immediately. He then backtracked and went to look at what was done on the order, but then said they couldn't take the tables at this store since they don't have a setup to take them (what!?! a furniture store that can't take furniture back!?!). After quite a while, he stated that the tables had to be reordered (again!!!) and that the tables would be delivered on Monday, March 15th (another delay, pushing the order now out 3 weeks for 2 end tables), but he would find a way to take the tables back since we were having such 'issues'. After another hour, the reordered tables are entered but I am now told I won't get the tables until Tuesday, March 17th. This amount of delay for 2 simple end tables is now to the point of ridiculous. We weren't even offered anything but 'free shipping', which I didn't want, and like that covered anything that we have had to endure as part of this order. All we wanted was to get the end tables in a timely manner, but I had to take personal time, burn gas and more to travel to the Harrisburg store, as well as driving to the Mechanicsburg store multiple times to get this problem resolved along with having to make plans to be at home to be able to accept the delivery. These stores can't do anything correctly, and I can't trust anything they are telling me on when or if the tables are going to arrive. This is really extremely poor order handling, and extremely poor communication and customer service from the staff and store itself. Getting 2 end tables shouldn't take this long for a company that just expanded with a new store and should have their

Food trucks up front (grab a bite first, wander later--smart!), vendor tents sprinkled throughout, live music filling the air, and kids' activities that looked like pure joy. It was a warm, sunny September Saturday--ideal fall fest weather. The Adventure: While mums and pumpkins were great for the vibe, my main goal was something a little...unexpected. The ad mentioned camel rides. Yes, CAMEL rides. At a mum fest. At 40 years old, I had never ridden a camel, and I wasn't about to miss my shot. I called ahead to confirm that the "kids activity" was indeed open to grown-ups, too. Fast forward to the fest--I see the sign: "Camel Rides $10 Per Person." Ten bucks for a once-in-a-Central-PA-lifetime adventure? SOLD. Nervous, excited, and slightly in disbelief, I climbed aboard. Got a call back from Dave saying he will work me in today. He and a worker come over. We had a dura ceramic and Dave said no it did t need to be removed. They started the job and was leaving within 3 hours. My kitchen isn't large but 3 hours it wasn't done. Dave said he would be back by that Friday, again a no show. I called him Monday and he forgot he had told me that. He began telling me his boat had problems. Ok things happen but no call to the customer? He finally comes back to finish up. No transition strips had been put on and no trim work had been done. We also noticed a lump under the floor by the refrigerator. He comes back and puts on a couple of trim pieces and the cove base. Said nothing could be done for the hump under floor. The transition strips he nailed down. He left with the nails coming through the strips and cove molding missing. He is called and comes back again. This time he said he would glue the strips down and remove the nails. The messed up cut on the main strip was an oh well to bad it's fine. So we tried to escalate this to a higher person. From October to today I still have both stops falling off, 1 cove molding never put on , awful cut for the trim and a huge lump that has slit the floor in front of the refrigerator. We have had an adjuster from the company come out before Thanksgiving he told me great things as to how it was going to be fixed and I haven't heard back from him now. If you want this use their installers . If not I'd run as far away from this company as I can. Maybe a company person will see this and realize I have yet to sign off this project because of all this.

Add them to your list the next time you're looking for furniture! Here's why...Shopping at any store (for anything) is only as good as the Customer Service. The first thing that's noticeable is "Mom & Pop" atmosphere, but not in appearance. No its in the greeting, the welcome, the smile, the helpfulness, the patience, etc.etc.etc! The thing we appreciate about shopping Yorktowne is they allow you to explore without rushing you OR without feeling as though you're being pounced on before you're barely in the door. The point is, they have it all. Not only when it comes to Customer Service but also their furniture. They have many different styles and different levels of quality and price ranges. We love that the store is still family oriented upholding the kindness of original store atmosphere which has been in the community for many many years. Jess, her Husband and Son are incredibly kind and helpful! Thank you for making our purchase a pleasure and for being patient as we were trying to make our decision.
