But how can you be so close to the beach and not get on it. Well, when you can't walk - it's hard! My husband borrowed the hotel's wheelchair and walked me to the beach, but we came upon the American Red Cross Life Saving Corps Beach Chairs! A gentleman explained to us that they were there for people to use. So, I moved from the hotel wheelchair to their Beach-Wheel-chair and had the time of my life!!! Oh, my husband pushed me up and down the beach in & out of the water and even pushed me real slow at times so I could survey for shells... Then sometimes he would run and push me through a flock of birds! Oh the Joy we had during our stay was marvelous!! Thank you All for being there & having those chairs available!! Trust me, If you have someone with you that can't walk the beach, but would like to enjoy it, Borrow one of these Comfy Chairs! They will Love You!!!

According to the American Red Cross Jacksonville Beach is the world's safest beach. This place is deep with tradition since it started back in 1912. The corps really take keeping everyone who comes to the beach safe and out of harms way. I can even still recite the names of all the towers from north to south. That was a most in my recruit class of 77. So maybe I'll come back on opening day of the beaches where everyone can tour the building. Oh the memories this building has for me and may others. Solid 5 stars and cannot recommend ACT enough. I have been coming here for my BLS and ACLS renewals…read moresince 2017. The quality of classroom instruction is very well worth the time and money--so much so that even though my former employer offered ACLS and BLS renewals through work for free and while on the clock, I would still self-pay and renew through ACT and attended on my own time because it's hassle-free and it saved me the time and frustration of sitting in front of a computer for hours at a time and suffering through the monotony. The in-person classes are dynamic and are designed in a way that respects our time as HCWs. There are plenty of morning and evening class time offerings and I've always been able to find a time that works with my schedule. Classroom training is clear, concise, and time efficient. I usually take the morning courses and will get my card the same day. I did take a night class recently and got my card the very next morning, shortly after opening. I recently learned that one of the instructors had bought/taken over the business and I think maybe that's why they're at this new location? I hope that ACT continues to thrive and offer their services for decades to come. I will continue to come here for my AHA recertifications and I recommend them to all my friends and local colleagues. TL;DR: 10/10 highly recommend renewing ACLS, BLS, and PALS through ACT. Very well worth the time and money!

I would say this is a great place to get an level of CPR Certifications…read more I have been here twice for BLS and now once for ACLS. The instructors are all good, they do try to get to the point and not take forever and there is nice equipment to practice with. Facility is clean and the people are nice
