And Terresa I felt heard, welcomed, and reassured that the staff on site at Tides Edge Detox (first 30 days) followed by Beaches Recovery (PHP) (day 31 to typically day 90 or 120 totally based on the individual) had the resources and expertise to enable smooth, medically assisted detox, followed by a five star level of treatment, that would allow me to get back on my feet living healthy, happy, and sober. I received help with my flight from California to Florida, a ride from the airport to the facility, incredible treatment from Medical and support staff, catered meals, large flat screen TVs in the incredibly comfortable rooms, a case manager, therapist, yoga instructor, physical trainer, guided meditation, pickle ball, football, bad mitten and surfing, creative writing and art classes and so much more‍‍ Once I made it to Beaches Recovery (PHP) I couldn't believe I was being taught to Surf and loving every second if it! I'll be taking by newfound surfing skills back to California with me! If you're serious about saving your life and having the tools Necessary in order to continue living your best life this is 100% the place for you. I honestly didn't want to leave and made relationships I never could have dreamed of. Harriet Beecher Stowe started the building around 1872 as a Freedman Bureau for free slaves to educate them. Tonight it is the command center for food, drinks and companionship for any of the workers who have come to our area to get electricity on! We thank them! After paying on a Thursday I had to cancel the reservation a day or two later, due to the death of my brother-in-law's sister and so I called them and called them and called them ....days and weeks after....these wretched people never answered or returned over 10 calls and voice messages. I would have gladly accepted half of the money back as they originally indicated or at least a credit to hold the place for a future event, but these people never even had the decency to respond. Terrible!!! Absolutely no integrity!... And would you believe one of them-Didi told me 2 of their immediate family work for the police department!!! Never again ....Brittany!!! and I will definitely warn and offer other suggestions to anyone who tells me they are planning on using these people and their location for an event. Unbelievable!

Friday, August 01, 2025…read more I'm writing to share a disappointing experience my spouse and I had at the USO located at NAS Jacksonville. As a military family, we've always appreciated the mission and values of the USO--to support and uplift service members and their families--but unfortunately, our visit left us feeling disrespected, unwelcome, and possibly even discriminated against. We came in to inquire about Jacksonville Jaguars tickets. Upon entering, we noticed a staff member named Marge warmly hugging and greeting another guest. This made us feel that the environment was friendly and welcoming. However, when Marge saw us, her demeanor changed. She asked why we were there, and we said we were just inquiring about the tickets. She immediately responded, "Did you check in?"--in a noticeably different tone. We then checked in as instructed and selected "Travel and Information" and "Food" on the kiosk. Another elderly staff member (not Marge) kindly approached us to explain that the deadline for the Jaguars tickets had passed. She then offered us drinks and snacks, which we appreciated. When my husband asked what drinks were available (more out of politeness than anything else), she kindly invited us to follow her to the fridge, explaining it was easier to show us than list them all. After grabbing two Sprites, she asked if we'd like bread. As we followed her to where the bread was located, we passed by Marge, who suddenly snapped at us, saying, "Go ahead and hurry up!! We're busy here!! Go ahead and pick and then go!!" We were shocked by her tone and words. Even the woman assisting us was visibly taken aback and commented, "Marge!" My husband immediately took my hand and said, "Let's go." As we were walking out, we heard Marge make a comment along the lines of, "People don't come here just to shop," which felt like an unfair and unnecessary judgment. The entire experience left us feeling embarrassed, humiliated, and deeply disrespected. We couldn't help but wonder if her treatment toward us was rooted in bias--especially in contrast to the warm, friendly way she treated the guest before us. We came in simply seeking information and maybe a small treat, and instead, we left feeling hurt and unwelcome. This is not what the USO stands for, and it's disheartening to experience such behavior from someone representing your organization. We hope this feedback is taken seriously, not just for us, but for the sake of every military family who deserves to feel safe, respected, and supported when they walk into a USO facility.

The directly lied about the improvement of his injury and forwarding test results request from his outside specialist doctor. Initially sold they provide a strong level of service that did not exist.

My mother was admitted to this center to be administered an antibiotic intravenously for 21 days…read more Her overall care was consistent and was administered medications as needed and directed. Meals were delivered according to nutrition needs, physical therapy was also well received by my mother. The negative experience lies in her discharge procedures as well as lack of communication with the Director of Nursing Angie and Case Manager Jenny. Her discharge required portable oxygen as well as set up for home oxygen she was released with neither and was lied to that we simply had to call and they will deliver it. It was confirmed by the company they never received the requests. She was prolonged a procedure for several days to remove a tic and was transported twice to a hospital to have it removed without confirmed scheduling resulting in her being left once and I had to Uber her back to Life Care. The D.O.N Angie and Case Manager Jenny never returned calls and once confronted released they were telephoning a number that was never given to Them upon intake from my mother, myself or St Vincent where she was prior to being released there. She was discharged without three vital life threatening medications causing her to miss doses and resulting her being in the hospital upon arrival. If you have any other options please choose them. We have filed a formal complaint with AHCA and our family attorney has admonished us to build a case and we are.

I went to 3 other facilities in the Ponte Vedra area but decided that Ponte Vedra Gardens was without a doubt the best place for my mom. My mom was in N.Y. at the time and was having home health care and was not quite ready for PV Gardens. Julie was an angel to work with and was very diligent at getting me all the information I needed to make a decision and was patient and flexible with everything! After going to the facility quite a few times and even talking to people who had their loved ones there, I put down my deposit. But it ended up my mom passed away a month before she was scheduled to begin her new journey to live at Ponte Vedra Gardens. Wanted the community to know how great it was to work with Julie and would absolutely recommend Ponte Vedra Gardens!!

Some of the employees taking care of my husband also took care of my in-laws. A variety of activities happen throughout the day, 7 days a week, there is something for everyone. Dietary provides a wide selection of foods to meet each residents' needs and wants. What I find so amazing is how every employee knows all the residents' names. The employees are dedicated to the care of residents with respect, remembering that this is their home. This is one of the reasons River Garden consistently is evaluated number 1 in the state.

This time, there were no beds available with Brooks, so she has to get rehab and went back there, same issues, certain CNA really don't care about her and when I visit, I don't see them at all. Voiced my concerns to the office staff and they push me off to the floor supervisor, which half the time I cannot find. The food is okay, more dairy products than chicken and fish, my mom is lactose intolerant but still serves her grill cheese.
