It is always just incredible to me that all the amazing specialist support we get here is free (incredible and also so good and right and fair and true and should be the case everywhere because healthcare is a right... but I digress! ;) We recently went back for mooooore tests, and we were super covid nervous but this place does it right. You cannot walk into the building without one of those laser temperature checks, then you wash hands and you follow lines for in and out. I did notice that no one was enforcing a "one person/family group in the elevator" rule, so that's something they could work on, but once upstairs in the children's clinic chairs were blocked off to keep distance, everyone was of course in masks, and the staff were constantly cleaning every surface. Beyond the covid measures, the staff here are always top notch. Huge love for this team.

As a big supporter of the public system, I'm already not a fan of private or semi-private clinics. Recently, this clinic has taken it to the extreme. With the renovations, it's true that it looks very nice. However, there is little available parking. To deal with this isssue, they've come up with the insulting idea of valet parking. For $5, they'll find a parking spot for your car so you don't miss your appointment. I understand this in downtown Montreal but we're talking about the west island where they could have easily planned for more space. I find it disgusting how money-hungry they are. That being said, the facilities are very nice and include a wide variety of medical professionals and specialists as well as some complimentary medical professionals and a travel clinic. Some services are included with RAMQ and some are not, I would call ahead of time to find out.

They are professional and provide care and attention. I would definitely recommend this Medical Centre. The Centre is also very clean and has laboratory services, scan, x-ray, and other testing services and doctors specialized in a variety of medical specialties. This is an excellent clinic - it has everything including compassion and empathy.

They say new appointments available each day at 6pm, I sat on the app refreshing for 5 days trying to get a appointment. The also say if you call at 730 and press option 1 you can get an appointment. 5 days in a row I called from 7:15 to 10am.. Message always says clinic is closed and hangs up... .occasionally you will be put on hold for 20minutes then message tells you clinic is closed and hangs up. Shame on whoever is running this clinic.. the doctors are very good when you can see them.

In the past the staff and doctors have been good. Prior to the pandemic, the wait times to see a doctor were long (about 4 hours on average). You used to be able to walk in and wait for an appointment. Now, after the pandemic, they tell you to call at 7am to make an appointment. I did. I waited ONE HOUR on hold then hung up! This clinic is now just awful. How can we make an appointment if no one answers the phone!? I contacted the minister of health to make a complaint. The ministers response was "it's a private clinic now, sorry not our responsibility". I contacted the GMF medical group to determine if this location was a member and make a complaint. I was put on hold. After 17 minutes I hung up. Ridiculous!

Not only were the doctor's patient and understanding, they went above and beyond to answer all my questions regardless how long the list was. They answered questions before I even asked them. Not to mention, they fixed my problem. Yes you have to pay out of pocket and chances are your insurance company will not refund you but keep this in mind: Barely any wait time, parking was easy to find, the receptionist was super nice, doctors were not ushering you out and I got free coffee! :)

Les services sont payés par le parent puis remboursés par le gouvernement une fois que l'enfant a reçu sa carte. Le Dr Ouellette a refusé de voir mon fils et a même refusé de me parler. Très peu professionnel qu'un médecin refuse un service à un patient, surtout un enfant malade ! Based on RAMQ, internationally adopted kids have the right to get medical service with their mother's RAMQ card, similar to a new born, until they receive their own card. Services are paid by the parent then refunded by the government once the kid receives his card. Dr. Ouellette refused to see my son and even refused to talk to me. Very unprofessional that a doctor declines a service to a patient, especially a sick child!

And then as happens too frequently, the staff must not forward my request for an appointment because no one calls me back. One time it happened that I was trying to get a prescription sent to my pharmacy but it took many calls from me and from the pharmacy to get that pushed through. I would give a lower number but nurse practitioner, Patrick Casey is a huge positive about this clinic. He is knowledgeable, thorough, detail oriented and has an excellent bedside manner. To the owner of the clinic: when staff tells patients that they are too busy to answer the phone...simple solution: hire more staff.
