Recently stopped here during a trip to Death Valley National Park. The two women working were both extremely friendly and welcoming. The hot dogs and chili cheese fries were delicious. Stateline also had a few good local bottled beers, which we really enjoyed after a hot day in the park. Highly recommended if you are looking for delicious and reasonably-prices food and drinks in the area. read more

Lmao; It May be in the middle of an highway, but its legit. You would imagine that out here at this dull location, these locals would become boar tourist attraction. Well that may or may not be the case. With a reasonable thought of the business profit, they owners and workers hold up fine. They deliver plates with rich laughter and humble conversation. After a very long drive to Death Valley on Halloween, we ended up needing to get a room at Longstreet Casino. We got there after 8pm so the casino's restaurant was closed. The lady in the casino's store told us to trek across the street to Stateline Saloon so we did. It looked deserted outside but we went in to find very friendly staff and some locals singing karaoke. I got a cheeseburger and fries while my friend got chicken fingers and fries. The food was so good!! We were very pleasantly surprised! Good portions. The lettuce, onion, tomato for the burger was fresh. It was just what we needed after a long day of driving. We left there stuffed and I enjoyed the karaoke. Very convenient location from the Longstreet inn and casino. Just across the street from the hotel. Food was excellent.

I had a lovely dinner there and wanted to be sure to review it because when I was researching my trip through the area and keyword-searched "gluten" I was hard pressed to find anything. I ate the chili stuffed baked potato, and while there was nothing to note gluten-free friendly, it seemed like a good bet, and boy was I right! I'm a human gluten-meter and no problems at all! This is the gem of the Armagosa Valley. it is a one-woman show on the night we popped in... Maggie is incredible! she never stopped moving. We drove past the saloon while on a seach for gas but decided to come back and a it was a great decision. you can smell the burgers from the outside BEER is cold, burgers cooked to order...she bakes her own buns. fries are crispy and not limp! i hate limp fries!!! i split the big boy burger and it was more then enough. lady next to me was eating chicken fingers and they smelled great! 7 miles from the Armagosa Opera House and Hotel and a little under an hour from Death Valley, Furnace Creek. read more

We went to Death Valley and stayed at the Long Street Inn. This was an unplanned delight across the street. We were able to drink an not worry about getting home because our hotel was right across the street. Connie the bartender was a sweet heart! We got to know about the bar and the town by talking to her. Sadly because of the pandemic their food options are limited to pizza and chicken fingers, so they directed people across the street. Looking forward to coming back when they have all their options available. read more

found this place while on a motorcycle ride . great little bar/cafe out of death valley area. fun staff that after seeing the motorcycles outside, put some off road videos on the big screen! cold beer and the bacon wrapped dogs are tasty! and just across the street from the casino in case you want to "try your hand".... well worth the stop to check it out. read more

Because zero stars is not an option. The menu was small so my friend and I decided that a burger and fries would be easy enough. I went to the bathroom and the water wasn't working to wash my hands (apparently, it was off and would have to be turned on). That would have been fine, but they were rude and acted like there was something wrong with me for needing to wash my hands. Approximately 20 minutes later, the water was turned on. (I'm still a little grossed out wondering how long the water had been off and how people were washing their hands) I understand that the bartender had to turn the water on, but she had walked back and forth at least a dozen times to speak with others at the bar, and not once asked if we needed another drink or anything else. We waited for our food for over an hour and watched a couple who ordered after us receive their appetizer. When I asked why this happened, she rudely said 'I was told you needed water, so I had to do that first.' By this time, we're both over it. The food didn't come for another 15 minutes (please do not forget that the whole time we were there, she never asked if we needed anything, even when she approached the table. Burgers were ok, fries weren't great but we didn't care because were so hungry by that time. To top it all off, she said she'd thrown away our ticket and needed my friend to tell her what we ordered. The service was horrendous and they didn't even offer us a free drink. I never leave reviews for bad service, but this was unreal. read more
