    They keep charging me for bags without my knowledge. I NEVER ask for bags!

    I would just like to say, if you live in Hesperia and are unhappy with the service at the 3 Stater Brothers markets that have inundated our town, please live a little and go elsewhere. I realized today, after trying to buy (4) $100 Stater Brothers gift cards, that they do several things to annoy me and I need to try Aldi's, Vons, Food for Less, and Trader Joes in Rancho. I had been buying a $100 gift card now and then when going into this store this quarter, since my Discover card is offering 5% cash back this quarter only at Supermarkets. Didn't have any issue buying them until today, a checker decided to not sell them to me. I had all my ID forms on hand. Where is the consistency? You don't want me to shop at your store? I realized on my way to the other St. Brothers to purchase a gift card there, hey, it may seem like the only supermarket in town, but it's not. There are other stores, and they all sell gift cards. So, I think I have been steered in their direction at the hands of St. Brothers themselves. Thanks for reminding me that your store is a shithole and I get annoyed every time I go in here for one reason or another. Good luck with your policies. Live a little and try other stores...don't get stuck in a rut going to a store that you don't want to shop at. UPDATE: They keep charging me for bags that I'm not getting. Again today, the clerk did not ask me if I wanted any bags, so I assumed I would not be charged for any. She proceeded to charge me for 2 bags, yet nothing had been bagged. It was only after I paid that she gave me 1 bag and then I assumed I had only been charged for 1 bag...looked at my receipt and she charged me 20 cents for 2 bags.  I never even wanted the one!  STOP charging me for unwanted bags!   FYI-   The picture associated with this location is not the correct picture of this Stater Brothers.   Previous: There are a lot of homeless people around here. But the homeless people and criminals in the area are not the only hazard to watch out for.  I just got stabbed in the arm walking in the store by this lethal plant.  It must be some kind of a cactus, idk, but it hurt!! Then I started thinking, Jesus, if that branch sticking out like that stabbed me so easily, imagine what it could do to a little kid! I think Stater Brothers should be proactive and take care of getting this dangerous plant taken out, too many people walk by it to get in and out of the store.  I hope no one else gets hurt by it. Also, there is a creepy employee here in produce who stares me down every time she sees me, and the last time I was here, she started following me around in the store.  Weird.

At that point, Evette told me that I had to wait because another customer who did not have enough money needed to finish paying for their items first. Her behavior was very odd and unprofessional: she was physically blocking the register with her body, which made me uncomfortable, so I decided to go to another register at self‑checkout. I first went to one register but noticed that the customer I believed would be finished was still completing his transaction, so I went back and formed a line again. At that moment, Evette came to me and told me I had to "stand behind" because she said I had cut in line. I calmly explained that I had not cut in line, but she ignored my explanation and continued treating me as if I had done something wrong. I felt harassed, disrespected, and singled out by Evette's attitude and actions. Her conduct made my shopping experience very uncomfortable and unacceptable for a store of Walmart's size and reputation.

    After making a purchase totaling over $200, I requested $5 in cash back. I exited the store and…read morerealized within approximately two minutes that I had not received the cash, at which point I immediately returned to the register. The associate, Michelle, refused to provide the cash back and incorrectly stated that the amount had been applied to my purchase, despite the fact that my transaction was already fully paid using two separate forms of payment. Both Michelle and the on-duty manager were unprofessional and appeared unable to properly interpret the receipt or resolve a straightforward transaction issue. The situation was handled poorly, and I was spoken to in a dismissive and discourteous manner. This experience reflects a clear need for additional training in transaction procedures, customer service, and basic professionalism. Unfortunately, I was unable to obtain the manager's name at the time. However, due to the unacceptable treatment I received, I contacted corporate, who confirmed that I am owed the cash back. Based on this experience, I will not be returning to this location, and I do not recommend it to others It's one thing to make a mistake. It happens to everybody makes mistakes, but as a customer service associate myself, you own your mistakes. Your apologize, and fix your mistakes.

I generally enjoy shopping at…read moreSprouts, but during a recent experience at the Victorville location, I uncovered a pricing discrepancy in the bulk department that other shoppers should be aware of. I was excited to find the YumEarth Assorted Fruit Chews in the bulk bins, as they taste like a favorite childhood candy of mine. On May 16th, I purchased them at the Apple Valley Sprouts for the price of $5.99/lb. However, when I visited the Victorville location on May 30th, the same candy was priced at $15.99/lb. I brought this massive 160% markup to the attention of a store employee, who told me that it was because the candy is organic (all YumEarth products are organic, including the $5.99 batch). After reviewing my receipts and store tags, Apple Valley marking the item as discontinued is the only difference between the two organic fruit chews. Since I care about consumer accuracy, I submitted a pricing concern (with receipt and bin photos) to Sprouts Corporate Customer Care over three weeks ago on June 2nd. I have received zero response besides the initial acknowledgment after I submitted the web form. Even if Sprouts corporate has since cleaned out the bins or officially removed the item, the fact remains that the system was actively overcharging customers on the floor, and management showed zero interest in auditing the error or following up with a customer. This has been disappointing, and the usually friendly Sprouts failed in this area. I haven't returned to shop at Sprouts since this occurred. As a consumer, I prefer to spend my grocery budget where pricing accuracy and basic customer communication are treated as priorities. Please double-check your bulk receipts at this location.
