Although I went a wee hours in the morning, I was able to get what I needed and not have to deal with long lines. It was my first time at this Wincos and they dont have a fresh seafood counter. They also have their own bakery and sell pizza at the front of the store. In their bulk section you can find anything from chocolate, candy, to nuts, rice, beans, flour, granola, pasta and much more. They have sushi, a deli section and some ready to cook meals and sandwiches. Prices overall are low to moderate. read more

This place is horrible at night. Don't ever go there late at night. You'd be lucky if they have two check stands open night crew is not friendly at all. I bought hamburger buns yesterday and when I got home found mold on a few of the buns, I bought a coffee creamer and didn't notice it was already open the aluminum foil was removed, beef broth seal was removed, a gallon of milk with a good date smelled like it was left out for days , a pack of Oreos stale and then you find a brand you like and they stop carrying it when I ask what happened to that brand and the response is I don't know Winco you need to step up your game read more

Just left this store and very displeased with the service here. First off, they only had one aisle open and we had to get out of line after already waiting because we got candy from the bins and they require the numbers on the candy signs at checkout (which we were not aware of). They do have a sign stating this policy but it is in literally the smallest print possible. Very easy to miss. Secondly, when we came back in line, an employee was opening up another aisle because the line was getting so long. We asked if we could go first in her line because we had already waited in the first place and the line was super long. The way that employee proceeded to respond and speak to us was absolutely not ok. As if we were the stupidest people to ever grace her majesty's presence. I'm outraged at the way she spoke to my mother. She was unbelievably rude, hostile, and short. Good prices but I don't think I'll be able to come back here unfortunately because of this awful experience. Only come to this place if you plan to interact with anyone but that employee. read more

Wow!! Decided to go to this store heard they had good prices and they were correct! What I spend at Walmart for 7 bags of groceries is usually $224. I came out of Winco spending $125!!! Also they have a HUGE SELECTION on everything. There's nothing I couldn't find there that is at Walmart. I could spend over a hour just looking at all the choices. The prices were very affordable in today's economy. I was very impressed. Also where can you get a slice of pizza or French bread pizza slice hot out the oven for $1.00 a slice and a fountain beverage for .98 cents? So me and my daughter got 2 slices of French bread pizza and a beverage for $3.44 total tax included. And it tasted amazing. Not generic or anything. I will be making Winco my favorite store and can't wait to go back. Also even the BONUS of being open 24 hours a day for our busy schedules! Zero stars. I have not gone to this location one time without homeless men coming up to me begging for money in parking lot. Entire building was leaking during rain, buckets to catch rain were EVERYWHERE. Including the bulk bins. The bulk bins need to be cleaned out after having rain drip into them!!! Air conditioning either does not work or is not on during summer. Could not buy meat or dairy because of how hot store was. Mold on the cheese. Several different packs. I recent tried Winco and overall I really liked it!! Pros: lower prices, huge store so did the majority of my shopping here, could buy certain items in bulk like trail mix, chia seeds and flaxseed. That was great!! Good customer service too. Cons: had to bag my own groceries (ok I'm spoiled at other stores lol) and I accidentally left my meat there ( my fault) and found out thd person behind me had taken it as if it were their own. Went into the women's bathroom, walked in and was surprised to see a used tampon sitting on the shelf, no toilet seat covers available. Extreme biohazard, I went to the handicap stall, but still am disgusted by seeing someone else's soiled tampon on a shelf that sits on top of the women's waste Bin that is intended for feminine hygiene products. It's not the store's fault that someone did that, but they should be checking the restrooms regularly enough to make sure other customers do not have to see that or be around that. Winco is alright. It's not the best grocery store nor the worst. It's setup kinda like a warehouse store. Fruits and vegetables are responsible priced. Meats look ok but not as good as other grocery stores I frequent. They do have a lot of good sales. You just need to plan ahead because they also have a lot of stuff that's way more expensive than other places. I really wanted to like their make your own peanut butter or nut butter station. The highlight is definitely the hundreds of bulk bins with nuts, dried fruit, baking ingredients, spices, cereals, candy, pasta, and more - pretty much anything you could think of that could be scooped and put into a bag! WinCo is amazingggg for cheap prices. I've done a price comparison between Aldi, Sam's Club, and WinCo, and they all have different things that are cheaper, but if I lived closer to this place, I would probably pick it as my ONE store to shop at weekly. It's huge and has warehouse-type prices, but no membership fee. I especially love the hundreds of bulk bins - not that great for covid safety, but excellent for cost! Nuts are still mostly cheaper at Sam's Club, but the spice prices and baking ingredient prices are unbeatable, even for health food products like whole wheat flour and monkfruit sweetener. Also can't beat 10 cent tea bags, and a lot of the produce is wonderful prices. read more

Aside from a variety of cost efficient food, this place is filthy. I mean, very unmaintained. The customer service is surprisingly horrible, since it's "employee owned." One would think as an employee they would give the best service to keep their stocks up. Perhaps they don't understand? At check out, they're so miserable. Prices are great! Produce...hit & miss, however there are more "misses" than needed. Their leafy green vegetables are always LIMP!!!! Despite the lack of checkers; the general assumption is that they try to keep it clean. I like the custom sushi maker and on Wednesdays, you can get sushi for $5...great deal. The fresh coffee beans, the candy, the seafood & the deli areas are always fresh and stocked. Their meat department.....whewwww where do I begin? It's huge! It's the most random set up! There's no telling what you may find! If you're looking for chicken wings....they may be next to the chicken feet and beaks! If you're looking for pork chops they will most likely be in the area of the Lamb chops. I've seen some pretty strange meats in these stores but its generally the same customer service....flat, no interactions, slow, bored with their life, unhappy, etc etc etc. The lighting is very bright! read more

Your customer service the African America lady that sits on the stool at self check out should learn how to talk to people she is extremely rude and is there to start confrontation with you customers she was rude to more than one person while WE were there some people were giving there items to her to take because your rule of 15 or less was not met by 2-4 items which is ridiculous to start confrontation when there is no one in line or waiting in the line after us people checking out! Especially when you only have 3-4 checkers and the lines are way long with their basket full to the rim, and we should have to wait for that when we have 15-20 items, NO we shouldn't have too, and other places don't have limits they just know an adult should be able to check out and be in there way, but I guess at winco we need to be treated like children and be told how many things we can buy!! She needs some classes or a new job I wouldn't even let her take care of my animals!! I hope something changes cause don't expect us to stand in a huge line when we are competent to do it our selves I will shop somewhere else, this is why I always see people walking out with stuff they didn't pay for because they are not waiting for the huge lines so at least we are paying for our items!! Winco is awesome!!!! It's not quite Costco or Smart and Final in that they don't really sell in bulk, but they have better prices than your local grocery store. Honey Bunches of Oats, usually like 4-5 bucks anywhere else, 1.99 here. Powerade & gaterade always less than 99 cents. Tall cans of Arizona's usually on sale - 2 for 99 cents. I appreciate how well maintained this store is. The isles are nice and clean and well stocked. There is a hot food section if you want some fried, grilled, or rotisserie chicken on the run. Unlike many competitors, Winco has plenty of cashiers and lines open for your convenience. They also have 6 self checkout registers if your into that (usually a smaller line). The biggest thing I enjoy about Winco is that it's open 24 hours. read more

This is definitely one of my favorite grocery stores now! I've known about it for multiple years and browsed it once back then, but never shopped here because I just never drive in that direction. But I did some Thanksgiving shopping and love it! The store is huge, they have items that other stores don't have, their organic section is good, spacious with wide aisles, has a drugstore section, is open 24 hours, and the prices are great. You have to bag your own items, but that's not a big deal. There were a couple of herbs they didn't have (sage and thyme), but no store's perfect. I'll be shopping here more often! read more

On March 8, I was accosted by Winco hired Security. I never left out of the store. I was not arrested for any theft. I was called a bunch of racial slurs I was beaten from the middle of the store in front of 10 cash registers and customers I was taking in a back room I'll be beaten by two white men and then the Fontana police told me it was all the big mistake. I've tried to call Corporate. I have My Niece as a witness. The store is not calling me. I have permanent injured arm. I'm still dealing with concussion symptoms. I'm having nightmares every night. I've never visit the store ever I bought $244 worth of groceries and they said it was a misunderstanding. I don't understand. I'm devastated emotionally spiritually and physically damaged. Can someone please help me understand how this is possible and why is Corporate not even caring about what happened?
